The Influence of Chinese Remale College Students' Empathy in Female Tik Toker Fashion on Favorability and Purchase Intention (중국 여대생의 여성 틱톡커(Tik Toker) 패션에 대한 감정이입이 호감도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted with female college students in their 20s living in Henan Province, China, who had experience with TikTok. The relationship between TikToker's fashion and consumers' empathy, favorability, and purchase intent is verified. The questionnaires were administered for 10 days from February 1 to February 10, 2022. A total of 316 questionnaires were used for the final analysis, and statistical processing of the collected data was performed using SPSS 26.0 for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, Chinese female college consumers' empathy for women's TikToker fashion positively influenced favorability and purchase intention. Second, Chinese female college consumers' favorability of women's TikToker fashion positively influenced purchase intentions. Based on the results of this study, the following insights can be proposed. When promoting TikTok marketing, attention should be paid to the choice of TikToker. If choose the right TikToker, you can not only increase the favorability of TikToker fashion products but also increase the purchase intention of TikToker fashion. Choosing TikToker with charm, rich emotion, and beautiful appearance help product sales.

Effect of Consumer Confusion on Word of Mouth and Trust Through Anger: Focusing on The Moderation Effect of Consumer's Negative Affectivity and Intolerance of Uncertainty (소비자 혼란이 분노를 통해 구전, 신뢰에 미치는 영향: 소비자의 부정적 감정 성향과 불확실성 인내력 부족의 조절역할을 중심으로)

  • Companies are competing each other, and as the competitions became higher, consumer's information processing for purchase became more complicated. Consumer confusion problem is getting more serious, but there are still not much considerations on this problem. The purpose of this study is to find out that the consumer confusion can causes consumer's negative emotion(anger). This research studied the mediation effect of negative emotion on the relationship between consumer confusion, which was classified into three categories, and two consequences, word-of-mouth and trust. And also it concentrates on moderating effects of negative affectivity and intolerance of uncertainty in the relationship between consumer confusion and negative emotion. For the empirical study, we carried out a survey targeting consumers who live in the Dae-gu metropolitan area. The specific results of this study are as follows. First, all sub-dimensions of the consumer confusion had a positive effect on anger. Second, anger had a positive effect on word of mouth and on the other hand, anger had a negative effect on trust. Third, negative affectivity had a moderating effects on the links between overload and ambiguity confusion with anger, and intolerance of uncertainty only had a moderating effects on the links between overload confusion and anger.

  • The recent steep increase in the minimum hourly wage has increased the burden of labor costs, and the share of unmanned stores is increasing in the aftermath of COVID-19. As a result, theft crimes targeting unmanned stores are also increasing, and the "Just Walk Out" system is introduced to prevent such thefts, and LiDAR sensors, weight sensors, etc. are used or manually checked through continuous CCTV monitoring. However, the more expensive sensors are used, the higher the initial cost of operating the store and the higher the cost in many ways, and CCTV verification is difficult for managers to monitor around the clock and is limited in use. In this paper, we would like to propose an AI image processing fusion algorithm that can solve these sensors or human-dependent parts and detect customers who perform abnormal behaviors such as theft at low costs that can be used in unmanned stores and provide cloud-based notifications. In addition, this paper verifies the accuracy of each algorithm based on behavior pattern data collected from unmanned stores through motion capture using mediapipe, object detection using YOLO, and fusion algorithm and proves the performance of the convergence algorithm through various scenario designs.

Classification of Industrial Parks and Quarries Using U-Net from KOMPSAT-3/3A Imagery (KOMPSAT-3/3A 영상으로부터 U-Net을 이용한 산업단지와 채석장 분류)

  • South Korea is a country that emits a large amount of pollutants as a result of population growth and industrial development and is also severely affected by transboundary air pollution due to its geographical location. As pollutants from both domestic and foreign sources contribute to air pollution in Korea, the location of air pollutant emission sources is crucial for understanding the movement and distribution of pollutants in the atmosphere and establishing national-level air pollution management and response strategies. Based on this background, this study aims to effectively acquire spatial information on domestic and international air pollutant emission sources, which is essential for analyzing air pollution status, by utilizing high-resolution optical satellite images and deep learning-based image segmentation models. In particular, industrial parks and quarries, which have been evaluated as contributing significantly to transboundary air pollution, were selected as the main research subjects, and images of these areas from multi-purpose satellites 3 and 3A were collected, preprocessed, and converted into input and label data for model training. As a result of training the U-Net model using this data, the overall accuracy of 0.8484 and mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) of 0.6490 were achieved, and the predicted maps showed significant results in extracting object boundaries more accurately than the label data created by course annotations.

The Relationship between Leisure Passion, Self-Realization, and Psychological Well-being of Participants in Leisure Activities of Baby boomers (베이비붐세대 여가활동 참여자의 여가열정과 자아실현 및 심리적 행복감의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between leisure passion, self-realization, and psychological well-being for baby boomers who regularly participate in leisure activities, and to provide basic data for baby boomers to participate in leisure sports based on this. This study required the study of baby boomers born between 1995 and 1963 who participated in leisure activities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province to fill out a questionnaire using the convenient sampling method among non-probability sampling. Frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis were conducted through the SPSS 20.0 program to achieve the purpose of the study with a total of 310 data processing analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that leisure passion has an effect on self-realization. Second, self-realization is affecting psychological well-being. Third, it was found that leisure passion affects psychological well-being. Therefore, it was found that all paths had a statistically significant effect on the relationship between leisure passion, self-realization, and psychological well-being according to the leisure participation of baby boomers. In addition, leisure passion was found to have an indirect effect on psychological well-being, indicating that it had a mediating effect.

The change in C8 and C9 volatile compounds according to the drying conditions of Pleurotus citrinopileauts and P. djamor (노랑느타리와 분홍느타리의 건조조건에 따른 C8과 C9 향기성분의 변화)

  • Mushrooms have a unique taste and aroma, so in the processing of mushroom products with other ingredients, a separate pre-processing step is often taken to eliminate the mushroom aroma. In this study, we analyzed the changes in the concentration of volatile compounds according to drying conditions to promote the activation of processing using the fruiting bodies of yellow oyster mushrooms(Pleurotus citrinopileatus) and pink oyster mushrooms(P. djamor). The caps and stipes of yellow oyster and pink oyster mushrooms were separated and freeze-dried at -70℃ for 120 hours. Subsequently, they were hot air-dried at temperatures of 40, 50, 60, and 70℃ for 24, 24, 16, and 12 hours, respectively. The dried samples were pulverized and quantitatively analyzed by SPME-GC-MS. In the case of yellow oyster mushrooms, the concentration of t-2-nonenal in caps and stipes during freeze-drying was 164.43 ㎍/g d.w. and 174.80 ㎍/g d.w., respectively, whereas during hot air-drying, it significantly decreased to 0.35~3.41 ㎍/g d.w. and 0.98~59.88 ㎍/g d.w. In a similar manner, for pink oyster mushrooms, the concentration of 1-octen-3-ol during freeze-drying in caps and stipes was 31.05 ㎍/g d.w. and 176.17 ㎍/g d.w., respectively, whereas during hot air-drying, it significantly decreased to 1.59~9.66 ㎍/g d.w. and 1.96~15.77 ㎍/g d.w. Furthermore, most volatile compounds showed a tendency to decrease in concentration as the temperature during hot air-drying increased.

Changes in the Teaching Expertise of Teachers Participating in an In-School Professional Learning Community for Elementary Science Instructional Research (초등과학 수업 연구를 위한 학교 안 전문적 학습공동체 참여 교사들의 수업 전문성 변화 양상)

  • This study explored the changes in the elementary science teaching expertise of teachers who participated in an in-school professional learning community for elementary science instructional research. Six elementary school teachers from grades 4, 5, and 6 at an 18-class S elementary school in a medium-sized city in Chungcheongbuk-do conducted collaborative instructional research on elementary science lessons as part of an in-school professional learning community, which was held 26 times over 7 months in 2020. During the professional learning community, video and audio recordings of the activities, research lessons, course materials, and professional learning community reflection activities were collected for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative research methods; data processing, reading, note-taking, description, classification, interpretation, reporting, and visualization; and the instructional professionalism elements were extracted based on the instructional professionalism framework. In the early professional learning community activity stages, the participating teachers first discussed their teaching perspectives, their experiences, and their goals for teaching science, which resulted in a selection of research questions. The teachers then collaboratively designed and implemented research lessons for each grade level, after which lesson reflections were conducted. The teachers' abilities to engage in qualitative reflection on the research questions improved after each reflection iteration. It was found that this professional learning community collaborative lesson study experience positively contributed to teaching expertise development. Based on the study findings, the implications for using professional learning communities to improve elementary teachers' science teaching expertise are given.

A Tracer Study on Mankyeong River Using Effluents from a Sewage Treatment Plant (하수처리장 방류수를 이용한 추적자 시험: 만경강 유역에 대한 사례 연구)

  • We investigated the possibility of using effluents from a municipal sewage treatment plant (STP) as tracers a tracer for hydrologic studies of rivers. The possibility was checked in a 12-km long reach downstream of Jeonju Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant (JSTP). Time-series monitoring of the water chemistry reveals that chemical compositions of the effluent from the JSTP are fluctuating within a relatively wide range during the sampling period. In addition, the signals from the plant were observed at the downstream stations consecutively with increasing time lags, especially in concentrations of the conservative chemical parameters (concentrations f3r chloride and sulfate, total concentration of major cations, and electric conductivity). Based on this observation, we could estimate the stream flow (Q), velocity (v), and dispersion coefficient (D). A 1-D nonreactive solute-transport model with automated optimization schemes was used for this study. The values of Q, v, and D estimated from this study varied from 6.4 to $9.0m^3/sec$ (at the downstream end of the reach), from 0.06 to 0.10 m/sec, and from 0.7 to $6.4m^2/sec$, respectively. The results show that the effluent from a large-scaled municipal STP frequently provides good, multiple natural tracers far hydrologic studies.

Experimental study on structural integrity assessment of utility tunnels using coupled pulse-impact echo method (결합된 초음파-충격 반향 기법 기반의 일반 지하구 구조체의 건전도 평가에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The need for safety management has arisen due to the increasing number of years of operated underground structures, such as tunnels and utility tunnels, and accidents caused by those aging infrastructures. However, in the case of privately managed underground utility ducts, there is a lack of detailed guidelines for facility safety and maintenance, resulting in inadequate safety management. Furthermore, the absence of basic design information and the limited space for safety assessments make applying currently used non-destructive testing methods challenging. Therefore, this study suggests non-destructive inspection methods using ultrasonic and impact-echo techniques to assess the quality of underground structures. Thickness, presence of rebars, depth of rebars, and the presence and depth of internal defects are assessed to provide fundamental data for the safety assessment of box-type general underground structures. To validate the proposed methodology, different conditions of concrete specimens are designed and cured to simulate actual field conditions. Applying ultrasonic and impact signals and collecting data through multi-channel accelerometers determine the thickness of the simulated specimens, the depth of embedded rebar, and the extent of defects. The predicted results are well agreed upon compared with actual measurements. The proposed methodology is expected to contribute to developing safety diagnostic methods applicable to general underground structures in practical field conditions.

The Effect of Heuristic Cues on the Intention to Watch Contents in Searching Information on YouTube (유튜브 내의 휴리스틱 단서들이 정보검색 콘텐츠 시청의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to examine the role of IT features as heuristic cues in choosing a content on YouTube. According to the heuristic-systematic model, people tend to rely on heuristic cues when they have to choose and process useful information quickly so that they could save time and reduce demands for thinking. Based on this line of reasoning, this study posits that YouTube users rely on certain IT features as heuristic cues in choosing contents before they actually watch them. Based on the prior literature and interviews with YouTube users, we develop a research model in which social endorsement, self-presentation, and interactivity are identified as potential determinants of users' attitude toward contents, which in turn influence their intention to watch them. To empirically test the research model, we conduct a laboratory experiment and a follow-up survey. The results of data analysis show that social endorsement for the content, YouTube creator's self-presentation, and interactivity have significant and positive effects on their attitude toward the content, leading to their intention to watch it. This study suggests that IT features on YouTube could be wisely utilized to increase the chance that users choose a particular content out of many competing contents when they search certain information on YouTube.
