  • 천마총출토유물의 직물류 20여편을 화학적 및 물리적 시험분석을 통하여 그 사용섬유, 직물의 밀도, 구성계의 섬도, 조직, 염색상태등을 조사하므로서 그 직물의 신라시대 당시의 명칭 또는 품질의 정도와 염색기술등을 추정하여 문헌상의 기술자료를 확인할 수 있는 결과를 제시하였다.

  • Exposure limits for human protection are determined by converting basic limits for induced current, SAR(specific absorption rate), or power density, which are based upon biological effects, to measurable electric and magnetic field intensities. As a part of studies for the establishment of a domestic guideline for exposure limits, the validity of the exposure limits of five representative guidelines or standards, which are derived from basic limits, are investigated in this paper, using the published results for coupling mechanisms of electromagnetic field into a human body, and problems in each standard are analyzed and compared with each other.

  • The solubilities of caffeine in supercritical ammonia were measured at various temperatures and pressures to represent the relationship between the solubility and the density of ammonia at desired temperature and pressure by means of a simple equation. Using the equation, the interaction virial coefficient between ammonia and caffeine has been determined to give the parameters of Lennard-Jones potential function for the system. Furthermore, there are comparisons and discussions of the interaction virial coefficients and Lennard-Jones potential functions determined by the same techniques from the solubility data of naphthalene in supercritical ammonia and of caffeine and naphthalene in supercritical carbon dioxide from existing data sources others.

  • Injection characteristics of a kerosene swirl injector of liquid rocket engine operating at supercritical environment have been investigated. Kerosene surrogate models are proposed to model the kerosene properties. Turbulent numerical model is based on large eddy simulation and contains Soave modification of Redlich-Kwong equation of state and Chung's model. Numerical analysis results at supercritical environment are compared with the one at transcritical condition. Differences of density and viscosity are analyzed at both liquid film and core gas in the swirl injector.

  • In this study the trace of chlorinated organic compound in aqueous solution was separated by pervaporation process using crosslinked PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) membrane. The flux of trichloroethylene(TCE) increased linearly with feed composition but the flux of water was slightly increased. The partial flux of TCE was greater than that of tetrachloroethylene(PCE). The partial flux of TCE was not changed with operating temperature, but increased rapidly with feed flow rates. High crosslinking density causes the reduction of solubility and diffusivity for target component. The reduction of flux and selectivity for TCE is due to the chain immobilization and reduction of diffusivity with crosslinking density.

Microwave Dielectric Properties of ${Ca_{1-x}}{Nd_2x/3}$$TiO_3$Ceramics (${Ca_{1-x}}{Nd_2x/3}$$TiO_3$계 세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전특성)

  • Ca$_{1-x}$Nd$_{2+x}$3/TiO$_3$계에 대하여 소결 온도 변화(120$0^{\circ}C$-140$0^{\circ}C$) 및 Nd$^{3+}$ 의 치환량 (0.15$\leq$x$\leq$0.51)에 따른 마이크로파 유전특성을 조사하였다. 동일 조성의 경우 소결 온도 변화에 따라 Qf(Q=1/tan$\delta$, f=frequency)는 밀도 증가에 의해 다소 증가되었으나, 유전상수(K)는 커다란 변화가 없었다. 소결 온도가 동일한 경우 Qf는 x=0.42 조성까지는 증가하였으나, x=0.51 조성에서는 상대 밀도와 결정립 크기의 감소로 인해 감소하였다. Nd$^{3+}$ 의 치환량이 증가함에 따라 A-자리의 평균 이온 반경의 세제곱에 비례하여 유전상수(K)는 감소하였고, 공진주파수의 온도계수(TCF)는 tolerance factor(t)와 A-자리 결합원자가의 감소로 급격히 감소하였으나, 이차상 TiO$_2$의 영향으로 x=0.3 이상에서는 증가하였다.
