This thesis is about body language of Tao Dance Theater by combining Schuster's body aesthetic concept with the aesthetic characteristics of early dancers in modern dance. The body aesthetics of Tao Dance Theater were analyzed from the perspectives of minimalism and abstract aesthetics as they expressed and conducted overall research. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the elements such as the creative intention, content, body aesthetic, and costume stage of Tao Dance Theater's work <10>. Accordingly, it is meaningful in that it understands the aesthetic concept of the body asserted by Lee through the work, and analyzes the current state of development of modern dance art according to the change of the artistic trend.

Minimalism means abstinence characterized by simplicity, clarity, repetition, and exclusion while skeuomorphism means visual metaphor design characterized by retro, function, and emotion. Mobile platform interface has been developed based on those two aesthetic characteristics and user experience is evaluated using apple iOS6 and iOS7 representing skeuomorphism and minimalism respectively in this paper. Those two aesthetic designs on typography, color, and icon were tested with a sample of 35 undergraduate participants in the repeated measures design and the results showed that participants distinguished two types of aesthetic designs, and evaluated that iOS7 is superior to iOS6 on typography and identity. Comparing the levels of the three variables, aesthetic of typography, and accuracy, aesthetic and consistency of icon design were significantly differentiated and this means that although accuracy of icon design of iOS6 is superior to iOS7, iOS7 is superior in the rest of it. Overall, the participants had a positive evaluation toward iOS7.

This paper proposes a CNN-ViT hybrid model that automatically evaluates the aesthetic quality of images by combining local and global features. In this approach, CNN is used to extract local features such as color and object placement, while ViT is employed to analyze the aesthetic value of the image by reflecting global features. Color composition is derived by extracting the primary colors from the input image, creating a color palette, and then passing it through the CNN. The Rule of Thirds is quantified by calculating how closely objects in the image are positioned near the thirds intersection points. These values provide the model with critical information about the color balance and spatial harmony of the image. The model then analyzes the relationship between these factors to predict scores that align closely with human judgment. Experimental results on the AADB image database show that the proposed model achieved a Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient (SRCC) of 0.716, indicating more consistent rank predictions, and a Pearson Correlation Coefficient (LCC) of 0.72, which is 2~4% higher than existing models.

The aesthetics of Japanese animation have developed in earnest since Tezuka Osamu produced TV animation . This is because provided the aesthetic foundation of '3-comma animation' and 'limited animation techniques based on 8 frames per second. In fact, Miyazaki Hayao and Takahata Isao of Ghibli studio have expanded the influence of the Japanese animation industry to the world through the production of feature animation based on 3-comma animation. Inoue Toshiyuki, who participated as an animator in many works representing the Japanese animation industry, also said that the essential feature of Japanese animation aesthetics is 3 comma animation that shows the impressive movement of the character concisely. As such, 3-comma animation technique is the main aesthetic background that has led to the industrial development of Japanese animation.

Stereoscopic 3D animation contents are in the rise as a key part of contents market. Major animation studios are planning to produce 3D animations in a stereoscopic process. This study aims at understanding the visual textuality of 3D animation contents at its early stage. To understand 3D animation, , are analyzed. Stereoscopic 3D animations are exploring the new visual aesthetics using the specific storytelling, sequence ordering, camera working, shot size and camera angles etc. Based on these visual textualities, stereoscopic 3D animations are constructing telepresence, multi-senses of individual spectators. Stereoscopic 3D animations have formed their own aesthetics and cultural meanings in the digital age.

The analysis on the characteristics of the signification system of Japanese feature-length animations that this essay centrally deals with eventually examines the characteristics of representation and communication in Japanese feature-length animations. In general, most animation works focusing on characters and stories contain the signification systems related to 'denotation' and connotation.' However, tendency of the aesthetic representation and communication that appears differently, depending on the characteristics of the signification system that each animation work pursues. From this point of view, Japanese feature-length animation emphasizes connotative signification system and aesthetic representation, unlike Disney animation that strongly shows the tendency that makes the audience directly immersed in the theme and message of the work conveyed further in the myths by pursuing denotative signification system. And, in the case of Japanese feature-length animation, the 'dissenting and arbitrary interpretation' of the theme, the message that the animation work intends to convey and myths pursued is bound to appear diversely, depending on the audience's experiences and cultural and social backgrounds.

홍콩은 독특한 영화문화를 탄생시켰고, 그 특징을 이어오고 있다. 특히 최근에는 포스트모더니즘의 흐름을 잇는 작품이 잇달아 등장하면서 독특한 경향을 형성하고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 포스트모더니즘을 이어가는 홍콩영화의 의미와 의의에 대해 연구하여 그 미학적 특징을 밝히고자 한다. 특히 <중경삼림>의 작품을 중심으로 그 특징을 분석하여 영화의 해석과 제작에 기여하고자 한다.

Argument on the postmodernism of philosophy and history, epic and effect, and culture and art is becoming more ambiguous in scope due to digital technology development. Digital technology makes to change of aesthetic approach over the length and breadth of art and culture including medium art. Analysis of Digital images is changed from presence of images to feature analysis of images which is made by digital technology, and raise the question of how to analyze the images of reproducing digital technology focused on realism. Digital image, focused on hyper reality, should be approached not by film aesthetic approach but by shot unit. Due to emphasizes image reality reproduction by frame unit and not the short unit of the narrative approach, the artistic approach should differ from previous realism practice. Particularly, when considering movies which is focused on illusion, the realistic approach should be realized not in the of realistic approach in narrative aspect but in the aspect of realistic approach in painting aspect.

Modern society has produced various forms of mass media to convey different messages to the public.Animation, in particular, has been developing and expanding its own unique ganre and cultural code. In this report, I first describe the basic definition and expression techniques of filmography. Based on these technique, I observe the characteristics and methodologies of animation aesthetics, and distinguish between animation and motion pictures in order to show the benefits of using animation. Finally, I suggest the future direction of the research we will pursue in order to efficiently carry message to the public.
