  • Currently, There is a conference system in one field of knowledge base system, the study against a conference of multimedia approach method is become accomplished actively. However, Case of the conference system which is studied from multimedia viewpoint, only it will bring the merit and demerit of the off-line conference of existing with on-line, it isn't considering to make knowledge plan of important conference content and method. This thesis proposes stand of Knowledge-base system architecture for it break from the method which composes a conference system from the multimedia side of existing and focus it will be able to contain existing systems to conference contents and method.

  • Starting with the "Smart Grid National Road Map" in 2010, the Smart Grid 2030 was introduced through the basic plan and implementation plan of the intelligent power grid with the goal of building the world's first national smart grid. In this paper, we intend to build a power domain ontology based on the power business platform based on the upper and lower conceptual models of the "Smart Grid Interoperability Standard Framework and Roadmap", the standard of implementation plan. Ontology is suitable for expressing and utilizing the smart grid conceptual model because it considers hierarchical structure as knowledge defines the properties of entities and relationships between entities, but there is no research related to them. Therefore, in this paper, the upper ontology was defined as a major category for smart grid-related fields, and the lower ontology was defined as detailed systems and functions for the upper ontology to construct the ontology. In addition, scenarios in various situations that could occur in the power system were constructed and significant inference results were derived through inference engines and queries.

A Study on User Preference Sharing based on Semantic Web in Personalized Services (개인화서비스에서 시맨틱웹 기반의 사용자 선호정보 공유에 관한 연구)

  • Many personalized Services that provide users with adaptive information according to users' requirements and preferences have been researched and developed. However, existing approaches are difficult to share a user's information among heterogeneous services because these approaches manage users' preferences in a single system. In this paper, we propose a user preference sharing model based on the Semantic Web as a solution to resolve the problem. Our model enables user preferences to be described and shared over service-specific ontologies which are affected by the feature of each service. Our model is analyzed and evaluated with an implementation of the middleware that supports our model. Our approach has the advantage of providing more efficient personalized services than existing approaches because it can describe users' preferences centering around each service and share these information among heterogeneous personalized services.

  • Data which is created and shared on the Web is characterized by the massive amount of user generated content on various applications and dynamically evolving content on the basis of user interests. Thus, in order to benefit from Web data, it is essential to provide (a) the mechanisms which enable scalable processing of large data collections and (b) the organization schemes which reduce the navigational overhead within complex and dynamically growing content. Between these two impending needs, in this paper, we are interested in developing an indexing scheme which aims to reduce the time and effort needed to access the relevant piece of information by leveraging ontologies. In particular, considering evolving nature of Web contents, the proposed technique in this paper computes the sub-ontology, which best matches a given data collection, from the existing large size of ontology. Case studies show that the proposed indexing scheme in this paper indeed helps organize dynamically evolving content.

  • Moving picture has become the important media in education with expanded e-learning paradigm, but Korea Educational Metadata has limitation about representing information of lots of events and objects in moving picture. Announcing the MPEG-7 specification the information of lots of events and objects in it can be presented in terms of semantic and structural description of moving pictures. In this paper moving picture searching system model that integrates two metadata specifications, such as KEM and MPEG-7, is proposed. In this model one ontology to combine two metadata specifications is designed, and the other ontology about knowledge of a subject matter is added to search efficiently in searching system. As some moving picture data from Edunet were selected and stored in our server, our prototype of searching system using MPEG-7 and KEM shows the results that we are expected.

  • This paper proposes an algorithm to transform RDF(Resource Description Framework) models for ontology into CPN(Colored Petri Net) models. The algorithm transforms the semantics of the RDF model into the topology of the CPN by mapping the classes and the properties of the RDF onto the places of the CPN model then reflects the RDF statements on the CPN by representing the relationships between them as token transitions on the CPN. The basic idea of reflecting the RDF statements on the CPN is to generate a token, which is an ordered pair consisting of two tokens (one from the place mapped into the subject and the other one from the place mapped into the object) and transfer it to the place mapped into the predicate. We have actually built CPN models for given RDF models on the CNPTools and inferred and extracted answers to the RDF queries on the CPNTools.

  • Recently, according to the rapid development of the Internet, information is increasing exponentially. A lot of this information Various studies are being conducted in order to communicate smoothly. In recent years, related researches applying artificial intelligence and big data technologies have been actively conducted. However, it has not produced remarkable results. One of the causes can be found in the severe limitation of the lack of language and knowledge standards. Currently, there is an active research on conferences using a multimedia approach, and gradually, interest in knowledge-based conference systems has begun. In the case of a meeting with a multimedia approach, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing offline meetings are expressed online as they are, and the management of information on the actual contents and process of important meetings is neglected. Therefore, in this paper, we study a plan to convert conference content information into an ontology, and propose a method to systematically analyze the ontology-formed information.

  • Since e-Book has various advantages of hyper-link, multimedia function, dual-direction, etc, users can access to the system easily by touch method. XML has been established as the document standard of e-Book. For XML has hyperlink, style function, and structure it is suitable for knowledge delivery and expression. In this paper, we developed the Seoul's 1000 years time-capsule cultural contents into e-Book forms that can guide tourists. We also implemented the time capsule guidance system based on the e-Book of the user center through the modification process of the generated XML code using the e-Book solution.

  • Knowledge graph is a technology that improves search results by using semantic information based on various resources. Therefore, due to these advantages, the knowledge graph is being defined as one of the core research technologies to provide AI-based services recently. However, in the case of the knowledge graph, since the form of knowledge collected from various service domains is defined as plain text, it is very important to be able to analyze the text and understand its meaning. Recently, various lexical dictionaries have been proposed together with the knowledge graph, but since most lexical dictionaries are defined in a language other than Korean, there is a problem in that the corresponding language dictionary cannot be used when providing a Korean knowledge service. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an ontology based on the parts of speech of Korean. The proposed ontology uses 9 parts of speech in Korean to enable the interpretation of words and their semantic meaning through a semantic connection between word class and word class. We also studied various scenarios to apply the proposed ontology to vehicle services.

  • To overcome the weakness of the image retrieval system using the existing Ontology and the distributed image based on the database having a simple structure, HERMES was suggested to ensure the self-control of various image suppliers and support the image retrieval based on semantic, the mentioned framework could not solve the problems which are not considered the deterioration in the capacity and scalability when many users connect to broker server simultaneously. In this paper the tables are written which in the case numerous users connect at the same time to the supply analogous level of services without the deterioration in the capacity installs Broker servers and then measures the performance time of each inner Broker Component through Monitoring System and saved and decides the ranking in saved data. As many Query performances are dispersed into several Servers User inputted from the users Interface with reference to Broker Ranking Table, Load Balancing system improving reliability in capacity is proposed. Through the experiment, the scheduling technique has proved that this schedule is faster than existing techniques.
