Hydraulic Control Characteristics of the ABS for an Automotive (자동차 미끄럼방지 제동장치의 유압 제어 특성)

  • For the purpose of optimal control of anti-lock brake system, precise dynamic characteristics analysis of the hydraulic modulator, especially solenoid valve is necessary. However, most of researches so law have dealt with dynamic characteristic analysis of valve itself and the results have been restrictive to apply on the actual ABS modulator, where hydraulic pressure is acting. In this study, mathematical modeling and experimental analysis were executed in order to evaluate the valve dynamic characteristics when the hydraulic pressure applied. High pressure on the master cylinder effects on the valve dynamic characteristics have been analyzed quantitatively and performance improvement methods have been suggested varying the design factor. Consequently, results of solenoid valve dynamic characteristics analysis derived in the study can be utilized criteria for the optimal control of anti-lock brake system.

  • The study of our investigating and analyzing through experiments the performance on nonslip techniques, which has been nationally applied and represented, showed the following results. 1) In wearing shoes condition, regardless the shape of the surface and surface condition of the object, it satisfied the performance standard in cleaned and dried condition and the pulverulent body mixed liquid dispersed moisture condition. However, for the case of the non-slip agent treatment, not likely as the non-slip tape treatment case, the effect was not approved as it shows almost the same CSR as none treatment. 2) In bare foot condition, it satisfied the performance standard in most of the objects except for the Ceramic tile (A), Ceramic tile (B), pure and soapy water dispersed condition.

  • 본 논문은 엘리베이터의 미끄럼이나 과속을 방지할 수 있는 보조 제동장치인 로프 브레이크에 관한 것으로 제동시 반력의 최대 영역 즉, 취약 부분(weak point)으로 예상되어지는 하우징 영역의 보강형상을 위치와 높이를 변화시켜서 구조해석을 수행하여 최대응력과 최대변형률을 비교 분석하여 하우징의 안전성을 검토한 후, 최적형상의 하우징을 적용시킨 로프 브레이크의 설치 각도에 따른 구조해석을 수행하여 구조적 타당성을 검토하고자 한다.

A Comparison Study on the Sterilization Effect of Ballast Water with Cylinder Type and Groove Type (선박평형수 처리장치의 cylinder type과 groove type의 살균효과 비교 연구)

  • Current ballast water treatment technologies are applying chemical or electrical treatment technology which are not free from secondary environmental pollution. The purpose of this study is to treat the ballast water by shear stress without an additional environmental pollution and to find out the optimal treatment apparatus. We tried to treat ballast water by applying shear stress with two different type of combination of inner and outer cylinder, such as non-pattern type and groove type. In the case of non-pattern type of inner and outer cylinder, sterilization effect was comparatively low because of a slip between inner and outer cylinder. But in the case of groove type of inner and outer cylinder, sterilization effect was superior to the non-pattern type. With a same revolutional speed of 8000rpm, an extinction effect was acquired in the gap of 1 mm of inner and outer cylinder at non-pattern type, but 3mm of that of groove type.

  • In this study, we developed new tapered rolling type strip pressure key for the prevention of scratch in sheet metal forming line. The developed pressure key is equipped with two tapered rollers inside a conventional block pressure key. Through the scratch test, for the case of transversal movement the tapered rolling type pressure key reduces both friction and depth of scratch by the effect of tapered shape which decreases the pressure spike on edge, and for longitudinal movement the scratch on the sheet metal surface is certainly removed by the rolling contact.

  • 본 논문에서는 IoT 기술을 활용한 사용자 맞춤형 보행보조기구 시스템을 제안한다. 아두이노 기반으로 제작하는 맞춤형 보행보조기구는 리니어 액추에이터, 솔레노이드, 블루투스, 가속도 센서 외 다양한 센서들로 기능을 제공한다. 안전한 환경 제공을 위한 야간 조도 조절과 토양 상태 파악을 통한 미끄럼 방지 및 계단 보행보조를 통해 2차 부상 방지를 목적으로 한다. 올바른 사용을 위한 균형 제어와 길이 제어 및 위생 관리가 가능하다. 또한 어플리케이션을 통한 대여시스템을 제공하여 맞춤형 기능을 선택하고 병원에서 환자 정보를 연동하여 편리한 시스템을 개발한다.

자동차 능동형 샤시시스템 개발동향

  • 일반적으로 자동차의 샤시(chassis)라 하면 총체적인 개념에서 자동차로부터 차체(body)를 제외한 부분을 일컫는데, 구동 및 제동장치, 바퀴 현가장치, 조향장치, 타이어 및 휠 등이 이에 속한다. 1970년대 마이크로 컴퓨터의 응용기술이 도입되면서 엔진분야에서 시작한 자동차 전자화기술은 구동 및 제동분야에서의 전자제어식 제동잠김 및 구동 미끄럼방지 시스템(ABS/TCS)의 응용기 술을 거쳐 1980년 중반부터 차량의 현가 및 조향분야에서 능동형의 시스템이 개발되기 시작하 였다. 그 대표적인 예로서 자동차용 적응식 및 반 능동식 가변댐퍼(variable damper), 능동식 현가시스템(active suspension system) 그리고 4륜조향 시스템(four wheel steering system)을 들 수 있다. 1990년대에 들어서는 이러한 각종 능동형 시스템이 종합적으로 고려되어 설계되는 이 른바 자동차의 샤시 통합제어 시스템(chassis integrated control system)또는 능동형 샤시 시스템 (active chassis system)으로 발전되어 가고 있는 추세에 있다. 이 글에서는 최근에 가장 대표 적인 능동형 샤시시스템으로서 각종 능동식 현가시스템 및 4륜조향 시스템의 개발동향 및 기 술적, 경제적인 측면에서의 종합적인 검토를 하고자 한다.

A Study on the Development of Wafer Notch Aligner (노치형 웨이퍼 정렬기 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to develop a system that enables 20 to 25 wafers to be automatically aligned at the position of the corresponding serial number and facilitates the checkout of wafer processing by sensing them before and after semiconductor processing. It also suggests compensation algorithm and stepper motor control algorithm that carefully align notches. This study minimizes the rate of occurrence by adopting materials of which the surface has proper coefficient of friction when wafers are rotating and that do not rarely produce particles. This study completed the development of a slip resistance apparatus and carried out performance tests through mathematical verification. This system is expected to improve semiconductor yield due to anti-pollution technology in semiconductor processing and can be selectively applied to a large size wafer over 450mm in the future.

  • Surface of fine-size exposed aggregate portland cement concrete pavements(FS-EAPCC) is consist by exposed coarse aggregate to remove upper 2~3mm mortar of concrete slabs. Advantages of FS-EAPCC are maintaining low-noise and adequate skid-resistance level during the performance period. However, FS-EAPCC is required rational management criteria for field application, since it is early stage for application. Design construction and quality control criteria of FS-EAPCC was temporary laboratory tests which including optimum mix and exposing method, selection of adequate aggregate, resistance against, environmental loading and etc. However, these criteria need to be validated base on field application. In this study, experimental constructions were performed and construction procedure and quality control criteria were suggested based on the performance of the FS-EAPCC.

Teachers' Importance Perception on Elderly Housing Contents in the Housing Chapter of Middle School Technology and Home Economics Textbook (주생활단원의 노인주거 내용에 대한 교사의 중요도 인식 - 중학교 3학년 기술 가정 교과서를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research was to provide the information needed for improving the elderly housing education and the elderly housing contents of Technology and Home Economics textbook. Thus, the elderly housing contents of current Technology and Home Economics textbook were categorized. Then, a total of 233 teachers were surveyed to examine their importance perception on the elderly housing contents. Elderly housing contents were grouped into S categories, each of which was named 'safety and safety management', 'room plan for the elderly', 'shrinking stage in family life cycle and dependency stage in housing life cycle','a house for 3-generation extended family', and 'universal design'. Teachers' importance perception was generally high for 'safety and safety management' and especially for 'safety and safety management' of bathroom(protection against slippery floor, safety bar, the appropriate position and height of shower, bathtub, and wash stand) ; the basic guidelines of 'room plan for the elderly'(emergency call, closely located bathroom, flat and non-slippery floor) ; the general guidelines during shrinking stage in family life cycle and dependency stage in housing life cycle'(protection equipments against safety accident, emergency call, flat and non-slippery floor) ; independent life among 3-generation extended family members(bathroom for the elderly, space plan for independent life among extended family members) ; the basic design guidelines of universal design(safety bar in bathroom, flat floor) and the guidelines of universal design which were especially helpful for wheelchair users(enough empty space in front of door and in corridor, wide door and corridor). Recommendations for the elderly housing education and the elderly housing contents of Technology and Home Economics textbook were that 'emergency call','safety bar in bathroom' and 'flat and non-slippery floor' were the most basic guidelines for elderly housing; that 'enough empty space in front of door and in corridor', 'wide door and corridor', 'low and wide steps', 'ramp for wheelchair users' and 'D-type or lever-type door handle' were most recommendable guidelines for universal design; that 'need for elderly housing', 'types of elderly housing', 'alternatives and choices of dependency stage in housing life cycle' and 'house plans for shrinking stage in family life cycle' were required guidelines for increasing elderly-only family.
