The family Ciidae is presented for the first time from Korea. Two unrecorded species, Octotemnus laminifrons (Motschulsky) and Octotemnus japonicus Miyatake are reported. Morphological photographs of adults, description, illustrations of diagnostic characteristics, and host fungi are provided.

We report the unrecorded genus and species, Notopygus emarginatus Holmgren, 1857, for the first time from South Korea. The genus Notopygus is a parasitoid wasp of Pamphiliidae (sawfly) that can be distinguished by the posterior margin of metasomal tergite eight, which frequently project strongly upwards. In the study, we provide a description and photographs of newly recorded species.

Conwentzia is a newly recorded genus in Korea, based on C. pineticola. A brief description, photos of adult and male genitalia, and 16S rRNA and COI sequences of the species are provided.

Fleshy fungi were collected during field trips to mountain areas throughout the country from October in 1994 to June in 1995. Through the observation and identification of specimens belonging to the wood-rotting fungi of the Aphyllophorales, one genus, Phlebiopsis, and six species, Athelia bombacina, Ceraceomyces sublaevis, Hyphoderma sibiricum, Hyphodontia arguta, Phlebiopsis gigantea, and Radulomyces confluens were confirmed as new corticioid fungi to Korea and are registered here with descriptions.

A historical review of Trichoptera systematics in Korea and diagnoses for 10 newly recorded species of Limnephiloidea are provided: two species, Gumaga orientalis (Martynov) and Ganonema extensum Martynov, are newly recorded from the Korean peninsula, seven species, Goera interrogationis Botosaneanu, G. parvula Martynov, Apatania sinensis Martynov, Ecclisomyia kamtshatica (Martynov), Hydatophylax magnus (Martynov), Goerodes albardanus (Ulmer), and Dinarthrum coreanum (Kumanski and Weaver), and newly recorded from South Korea, and the adult stage of Neophylax ussuriensis (Martynov) is newly recorded from South Korea.

We report for the first time a taxon of the genus Thyrocarpus (Boraginaceae) from Daecheongdo, Ongin-gun, Incheon-si in Korea. This taxon appears to be Thyrocarpus glochidiatus Maxim., previously known from China. The new Korean name, 'Dae-Cheong-Ji-Chi', was given considering the name of discovered location. A description, an illustration and a photograph were given.

Three species: Anorthoa angustipennis (Matsumura), Harutaeographa stenoptera (Staudinger), and Cerastis pallescens (Butler), are recorded for the first time from China, and Nikara castanea (Moore) is newly added to the fauna of Northeast China. The image of adult, genitalic characteristics, and the distributions are given as necessary.

재시작 회복시 수행해야 할 작업략을 줄이기 위하여 주기적으로 수행되는 검사점 중 퍼지 검사점은 정상적인 트랜잭션들의 수행과 병행하여 수행된다. 트랜잭션들과 퍼지 검사점의 수행시, 로그 레코드 기록의 순서화를 위한 로그 래취를 획득한 상태에서 로그 레코드를 기록할수있으며, 트랜잭션 엔트리의 무결성을 보장하기 위한 트랜잭션 래취를 획득한 상태에서 트랜잭션은 로그 레코드의 기록과 관련된 트랜잭션 상태를 변경할수 있으며 검사점 프로세스는 트랜잭션의 상태를 검사할 수 있다. 퍼지 검사점과 트랜잭션들이 수행이 비동기로 수행되는 상황에서 로그래취와 트랜잭션 래취의 획득 및 해제 방법이 적절하지 못한 경우, 퍼지 검사점이 어떤 트랜잭션의 트랜잭션 상태를 검사하기 전에 그 트랜잭션에 의하여 기록된 로그 레코드이지만 그 퍼지 검사점이 그 트랜잭션 상태를 검사할때까지 그 로그 레코드의 기록상황이 그 트랜잭션의 트랜잭션 상태에 반영되지 않은 경우가 발생할수 있다. 이 경우, 기록 상황이 트랜잭션 상태에 반영되지 않은 그 로그 레코드를 그 퍼지 검사점에 대한 그 트랜잭션의 상태미방영 로그 레코드라고 한다. 본 논문은 상태미반영 로그 레코드를 발생시키는 상황들을 분석하고, 상태미반영 로그 레코드의 발생에 따른 문제점들을 기술하며, 상태미반영 로그 레코드의 발생에 대하여 전면 방지 기법, 일부 방지 기법 그리고 전면 허용하지만 회복시 이를 해결하는 기법등 세가지 해결책을 제시한다.
