This study analyzed the effect of social, economic, and physical improvement in urban regeneration projects using difference in difference method in Busan and Cheongju City, utilizing population, regional economic, and old building data. The results of analysis indicated that the urban regeneration project had no effect on the social, economic, and physical improvement of the project area comparing the neighboring areas. In other words, at the end of the urban regeneration project, the business performance was not evident. Therefore, it is difficult to expect social, economic, and physical improvement if the urban regeneration project does not consider the linkage with the detailed project composition. In particular, it is necessary to carefully select detailed projects that meet the purpose of the project when establishing urban regeneration plans in the future.

본 연구는 대전시 도시 및 주거환경정비기본계획이 수립된 지 2년여가 경과하였고 목표연도(2010년)가 다다른 시점에서 도시재생 취지에 맞게 도시 및 주거환경정비예정구역을 평가 분석하고, 도시 및 주거환경정비사업의 한계를 해결하기 위해 도시재생을 위한 도시 및 주거환경정비사업으로 유형화의 필요성에서 출발한다. 이를 위해 첫째, 도시재생 관련 선행연구와 도시재생 사례 분석을 통해 도시재생의 유형을 도출하였다. 둘째, 대전시 도시 및 주거환경정비사업에 대해 분석한 후, 기존의 물리적 환경에 의해 구분되는 도시 및 주거환경정비사업의 문제점을 도출하였다. 끝으로 도시재생의 취지에 맞도록 물리적 환경뿐만 아니라 사회, 경제, 문화적 환경의 특성을 고려하는 도시 및 주거환경정비사업의 유형화 방안을 제시하였다.

In this study, the applications of the architectural design elements in the cultural rehabilitation of idle industrial facilities are categorized to define typology of rehabilitation design method. The design strategies which embodies historicity, symbolism, and sustainability are analysed in terms of structural, material, and resource with preservation, restoration and conversion by precedents study of idle industrial facilities that have been implemented and operated by the government.

This study derives the city's declining area by the type, and evaluates urban regeneration projects to sustainable urban regeneration planning factors. And assess whether urban regeneration projects are suitable for declining aspect of area. Application of sustainable urban regeneration plan factors of 19 declining areas is found to be less than 'normal'. This showed that urban regeneration projects not being actively enforced. All areas except hoedeokdong have been estimated that urban regeneration projects did not enforce the corresponding type on the decline, it still showed that concentrated on the physical regeneration projects. Excavation of social, economic regeneration projects that can respond to the type of decline and integrated, ongoing urban regeneration efforts are needed.

Urban regeneration is a project to enhance the competitiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the contents and expected effects of urban regeneration projects. In this study, we classified and analyzed the contents and expected effects of the 11 neighborhood urban regeneration pilot projects. The main results are as follows; First, physical regeneration is the most popular in terms of project contents, and social approach is the most typical for the expected effects. Second, the project of social regeneration is mainly focused on strengthening the capacity of residents. Third, the most expected effect of physical regeneration was about the improvement of landscape. Fourth, the most expected effect of social regeneration was the contents of residents' participation. Finally, there is a need for the development of projects that can expect a combination effects rather than a single effect. The urban regeneration new deal projects need to pay more attention to projects that can have various effects based on the development of competitive urban contents.

본 연구에서는 기존 물적 중심의 도시정비사업의 한계점을 극복하고 물리적 환경뿐만 아니라 사회 문화적, 산업 경제적 측면을 종합적으로 고려한 종합적이고 체계적인 도시재생사업을 지원 관리할 수 있는 공간정보의 구축 및 이를 활용할 수 있는 시스템 개발을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 도시재생 관련 법률 및 계획을 분석하여 현재 사용되는 지표항목 및 지표의 문제점을 검토한다. 다음으로 국내적으로 생산되고 있는 통계자료 및 기 구축 시스템을 검토한다. 끝으로 물리적 환경과 사회 문화, 경제 환경 등을 종합적으로 고려한 도시재생 계획지표 설정과 도시공간정보의 구축 및 활용 시스템 개발을 위한 접근 방안을 제시하였다.

This research was inspected on the example destination of the actual condition of Deajeon metropolitan city for the urban regeneration projects. For that purpose, the database for these sections are constructed, but the lack of the information constructing, the 202 of Deajeon urban regeneration prearranged district can be implied by the urban regeneration concrete. The physical-environment regeneration of 123 district are classified into physical purpose of the improvement, the resource management of physical regeneration core strategy point and the core elements of the environment regeneration. The society-culture regeneration is classified into the purpose of history, culture resource regeneration of 21 district. The economic-industry regeneration presents the strategy and technique of 15 district. The Mixed regeneration resents the strategy and technique of 8 district.

Virgin NBR and recycled NBR particles, which were pulverized from NBR scraps by high temperature shear-crushing technique, were blended with different mixing ratio. The effects of the recycled NBR content on the cure characteristics and physical properties of these blends were investigated and resistance properties of these blends to heat and various fluids were also studied. The study of cure characteristics showed that the viscosity increased but the scorch time decreased. The physical properties of rubber blends were improved with the addition of the recycled NBR for heat resistance and various fluid tests.

In this study, we suggested the specifical DB construction that was classified by Urban Regeneration Project through reviewing act related the Urban Regeneration. The DB of Urban Regeneration will be helpful for assisting and managing of Urban Regeneration Project. For this, we examined act & plan for the urban regeneration and deduced the demanded index of the project, in the result, we suggested DB build method. We expect that support and management for urban regeneration through presented index in this study.

This study focused on urban regeneration projects to diversify projects methods. Since the enactment of legal redevelopment projects, they were concentrated on improving the physical environment and supplying housings. In this article, 12 cities' urban regeneration policies and projects will be examined to point out the characteristics of each regions via documentary studies and interview investigations. They could be divided into 3 groups by population and region. Finally, this article is intended to propose diversified regeneration methods depending on the regions and to address implications on the regeneration policies.
