지금 해외에선 - 물리학계의 새로운 혁명 M-이론

  • 'M-이론'의 등장으로 최근 물리학계에 새로운 혁명이 일고 있다. 'M-이론'은 지금까지 양자이론으로 설명하지 못했던 많은 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 길을 열었다. 특히 새로운 수학이나 물리학을 창조하고 새로운 논리와 사고방법을 허용하여 새로운 철학을 전개해 줄 것이라고 사람들은 기대하고 있다.

Physicallism, Supervenience, and Eliminativism, on Theory of Mind-Body Relation (마음의 상실과 회복의 전망 : 물리주의(수반이론, 제거주의)에 대한 유가적(儒家的) 비판)

  • This article's aim is to criticise ontological physicallism, supervenience, and eliminativism on theory of mind-body relation, and to present Confucian theory of mind-body relation as an alternative. Confucianism on theory of mind-body relation. Ontological physicallism reduce 'the psycho' to 'the physical'. Therefore, Physicallism as theory of mind-body relation reduce mind to physical body. Mind-Body supervenience theory insists property co-variation and dependency of mind-body. Eliminative materialism is to eliminate 'the psycho'. But confucianists believe in reality of the human mind-heart & it's nature. Confucianism is to establish the mina-heart & it's nature as real. Confucianism can be an alternative of physicallism, supervenience, and eliminativism on theory of mind-body relation. And Confucian's opinion differs from theory of the substance and phenomenalism.

  • Development of science technology make integrated CPS(Cyber-Physical System) appear. In CPS era, cyberspace and physical-space are hard to separate anymore, that is developing toward integrated CPS. The reality is not stopping, that is consistently changing and the concept of space is developing too. But several articles are considering for cyberspace and physical-space separately, and they are developing tailed alternative each case. The theorical approaching that is not considering reality is dwelled on past, and is dangerous from dropping down to floating cloud that is not considering progressed reality. This article is suggested to consider rimland theory to control measures in cyberspace. That is dedicated to integrated approaching from physical-space to cyberspace. And that is developing concreted controling measures in cyberspace. Especially, this article is suggested to policy alternative by analyzing north korea cyber warfare from rimland theory including human sources. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. This article make integrated approaching effects about cyberspace and physical-space to preparing in the CPS era.

An Empirical Study on the Consumer Acceptance of Digital and Physical Products in E-Commerce (전자상거래에서 디지털제품과 물리적제품의 소비자채택에 대한 실증 연구 - 거래비용이론(transaction cost model) 관점에서 -)

  • 본 연구는 거래비용이론에 기초하여 전자적 시장의 소비자 제품채택을 경험적으로 검증하였다. 또한 전자적 시장에서 디지털 제품과 물리적 제품에 대한 소비자 제품채택 모형을 제시하고 디지털 제품과 물리적 제품에 대한 거래비용, 불확실성, 자산특수성, 소비자 제품채택간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 즉, 전자적 시장에서 물리적제품에 비해 탐색이나 비교가 용이하고 신발이나 옷과 같이 검사해 볼 필요가 없고, 다운로드를 통해서 운송비용이 들지 않으며, 사후서비스 비용이 적게 드는 디지털 제품에 대한 소비자의 제품구매가 전통적 시장보다 높음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 디지털 제품과 물리적 제품에 따라 소비자 제품채택은 차이가 있었다. 디지털 제품의 경우 거래비용(-), 불확실성(-), 자산특수성(+) 및 소비자제품채택(+)의 인과관계가 있었다. 그러나, 물리적 제품의 경우 거래비용(-), 불확실성(-), 그리고 소비자제품채택(+)에만 영향을 주었다. 따라서 이에 맞는 제품개발과 전략을 수립해야 할 것이다.

Physical knowledge in children: Children's developing understanding of object motion (아동의 물리지식: 물체의 운동에 대한 아동의 이해와 발달)

  • This study was carried out to examine the development of physical knowledge in children. Eighty children aged 3- to 11-year-old and 16 adults were participated in this study. Participants' knowledge about failing, sliding and sinking/floating objects was investigated to understand what kind of knowledge they had, whether their knowledge was organized as theory and what was the nature of the developmental change in physical knowledge. Results showed that, for falling object task children of all age had correct knowledge about object's falling phenomena. However, there were age differences in children's understanding of the cause of object's falling. As the children's age decreased, the frequency of explanation referring to the absence of supper rather than the gravity as the cause of falling phenomena increased. For the sliding object task, children of all age could predict the motion of sliding object correctly. But only a few 9- and 11-year-old children could understand the effect of object weight and relations between gravity, frictional force and their interactions. Children under age 7 showed no evidence of possessing these knowledge. For sinking or floating object task, children of all age and even adults showed difficulties in understanding the sinking or float phenomena per se. For the cause of these phenomena although a few 9- and 11-year-old children referred to buoyancy as the cause, they had no correct knowledge about the buoyancy. This was also true for the adults. As a conclusion, the results of this study suggested that, not 3, but as young as 5-year-old children's physical knowledge exited as a form of naive theory in terms of their use as a causal devise in explaining the cause of object motion. However, even the theory of 9- and 11-year-old children was lack of the abstractness and coherence, which were also important characteristics of a theory. Finally, developmental change in physical knowledge proceeded toward more frequent and consistent use of physical knowledge as causal device and more abstract and coherently organized theory.

  • 본고에서는 무선 통신 망에서 게임 이론이 적용된 주요 물리 계층 설계 기술을 소개한다. 셀룰러 망과 ad-hoc 망에서 일반적으로 적용할 수 있는 비협력 게임 이론 모형을 제시하고 서로 다른 목적을 위해 제안된 게임 전략과 유틸리티 함수를 소개함으로써 게임 이론으로 다양한 분산 알고리즘을 도출할 수 있음을 보인다.

  • The purpose of this study is to research hotel restaurant's servicescapes using Important-performance analysis. IPA is one of the simple and efficient method that can enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. Using this method for hotel restaurant's servicescapes and adopting social exchange theory to find out difference between person who paying and who does not. The results shows difference in 'Possible Overkill' quadrant, which is only group that does not pay include contents No.2, 8. The relation between servicscapes and behavior intention shows only tangible environment factor has positive effect.

  • An analytical forward modeling algorithm was developed for the efficient application to the geotechnical engineering in SASW (Spectral Analysis of Surface Waves) method. for the theoretical dispersion curve, the finite difference method using motion stress vector, which was proposed by Aki and Richards, was employed and verified with two earth models. For the stable and fast calculation, it was found that the model size depending on the frequency range is suitable $1.5\~2$ times bigger than the wavelength.

  • Studies on Earth's rotation and tide since the 19th century are briefly summarized. The theories of precession, nutation, polar motion, and periodic/secular changes in the rate of rotation are described individually. In addition, a brief review of the Milankovitch theory - the hypothesis of the relationship between the Earth's spin/orbital rotational state and the ice ages - is given. Finally, Earth's tides and their theoretical models are briefly explained. Some detailed technical content is summarized in the appendices.

  • 본강좌(II)에서는 종래에 제안된 피로기구와 이론의 개요를 소개함으로서, 구조용 재료의 강도 및 복잡성을 살펴보기로 하겠다. 기계적인 각종의 원칙 및 이론은, 피로를 동반한 기계적, 금속적 또는 물리적 현상중에 어느 하나의 현상에 대해서만 적응되고 또 이론이 적용되는 영역도, 재 료에 가해지는 응력의 고저를 고려하면 피로한도근방에, 또는 피해가 발생하는 영역 그리고 소성피로를 발생시키는 영역에만 제한된다. 따라서 이와 같은 사항들을 전부 고려한 통일된 피 로기계 및 이론은 아직 찾아볼 수는 없으나, 피로를 이해하는데 초보자에게는 도움이 될 것이 라고 인식되기에, 우선 종래에 발표된 피로에 대한 각종 이론 및 구조들 중에 중요하다가 생 각되는 몇 가지만을 간추리고 그 개요를 다음과 같이 간단히 소개하기로 했다.
