Recently, the electronic commerce(EC), driven by the development of Internet, has been one of the most important interests. Physical distribution in EC is one of the most important factors. Logistics will be one of the most important industries in the 21st century. Logistics, especially in related to EC presents enormous potential opportunities for logistics Companies. However, logistics companies in Korea still don't have international competitive and effective strategies for customer in compare with leading international logistics companies. So it is needed to study development strategies of logistics companies in Korea against leading international logistics companies. Logistics companies in Korea is able to learn from practical experience of logistics companies in developed country by benchmarking studies. It is three development strategies in order to develop Logistics Companies in Korea. $\circled1$ development of sophisticated logistics service product $\circled2$ reinforcement and enlargement of diverse added service $\circled3$ construction of international logistics network

SCM means that production companies set up schedules for the purchase, manufacture and sales of production parts, go on smoothly the flow of products (added value and material flow) by systematically arranging the demand plans of customers and the distribution situation, thereby executing the management of them in an effective way. This article aims at analyzing the external flow between government and companies and presenting the problems and the improvement plans, which can make clear all the information flow of supply networks including the internal integration.

본 논문에서는 기존의 항만물류 EDI의 문제점을 살펴보고 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 Microsoft의 BizTalk Framework에 기반한 XML/EDI 시스템을 설계하고 구현한 방법을 소개한다. 본 시스템의 기본 구조는 애플리케이션과 BizTalk 서버로 구성되어 있다. 또한 데이터의 흐름은 클라이언트 프로그램을 통해 데이터를 입력받고 XML 파일로 데이터를 저장·전송하게 된다. 그리고 이 XML 파일을 BizTalk 서버에서 미리 정의된 XML Schema를 이용하여 표준 EDI 문서로 변환하여 목적지에 보내게 된다.

과거 공급사슬(SCM)에 관한 연구는 재고관리, 생산계획, 물류흐름의 최적화에 대하여 개별적으로 연구가 이루어졌다. 하지만 최근의 연구는 이러한 분야들을 통합하여 관리하는 것이 더 효과적이라는 연구결과가 발표되고 있으며 특히 생산비와 물류비를 동시에 최소화하는 방안의 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 수송시간과 재고에 대하여 제약을 가지는 공급망에서 최적의 생산을 결정하는 연구를 수행하며, 개발한 수학적 모형을 이용하여 예제를 통해 모델에 대한 최적값을 제시하였다.

Jeon-buk is well equipped for the growth of the logistics industry as it is the center of inland and marine traffic. However, it was not activated because of the infrastructure insufficiency. This paper surveyed the logistics industry facilities, interviewed people who are engaged in its business, researched into their business difficulties and the problem of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk. As a result of research, this paper makes an alternative plan for the development of the logistics industry of Jeon-buk area.

This paper is aimed to analysis the logistics system of the Jeju island. Jeju island has a special feature about logistics system different from inland. In recent gradually increase of the jeju freight volumes but it has some problems about the port facilities shortage. We try to find the problems of the jeju and propose that an improvement plan.

The meaning of "added value" refers to the contribution of the factors of production, i.e., land, labor, and capital goods, to raising the value of a product and corresponds to the incomes received by the owners of these factors. The importance of added value in service industry has been recognized as one of the critical factors to economic growth, even in logistics industry. But, it is hard to find out the previous studies providing a clear definition and framework for designing and analyzing the performance of Value Added Logistics(VAL). The purpose of this study is to define the meaning of extended VAL that extensively includes activities initiating and operating the reverse logistics under the closed-loop logistic scheme, and to suggest the framework that describes the partnerships among participants involving in operating the value added logistics. Also, in this paper, we emphasize on the need for investigation of added value logistics definition and framework based on previous academic studies, and examine various value added logistics service activities of current leading 3PL companies across the world. Finally, we suggest the analytic framework for value added logistics throughout closed-loop logistics.
