Analysis of Warehouse Logistics System for Maximizing the Amount of Order Process (주문 처리 최대화를 위한 창고 물류시스템 분석)

  • The distribution cost increases constantly because of the growth of yield, globalization of accounts and the generalization of e-commerce. This paper is concerned with scheduling on the allocation of workers to maximize the amount of order process in warehouse logistics system. The problem is to determine the number of operators in each process by the sequential time zone. We considered that the number of operators is restricted to the current level and also the process time is changed by putting some resources into the process. In each stage, we suggest some considerations for the allocation of workers and estimate the maximum amount of order process of the alternatives. We analyzed the alternatives using simulation s/w Arena with real cases.

  • Recently, in the problem of multi-order processing in logistics warehouses, multi-pickup systems are changing from the form in which workers walk around the warehouse to the form in which goods come to workers. These changes are shortening the time to process multiple orders and increasing production. This study considered the sequence problem of which warehouse the items to be loaded on each truck come first and which items to be loaded first when loading multiple pallet-unit goods on multiple trucks in an industrial smart logistics automation warehouse. To solve this problem efficiently, we use the mutant algorithm, which combines the GA algorithm and ACO algorithm, and compare with original system.

인터넷 기반 원스톱서비스 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 -수출컨테이너화물 원스톱서비스 시스템 개발-

  • 오늘날 우리 나라가 당면한 최우선 경제과제중 하나는 물류부문의 혁신을 통한 국가경쟁력 강화라고 할 수 있으며, 이를 위해 정부도 1993년 물류체계 개선을 위한 장기구상으로 ‘화물유통체계 개선 10개년 기본계획’을 수립하여 적극 추진 중에 있다. 그러나 이러한 노력에도 불구하고 PORT-MIS사용자를 상대로 한 설문조사에서는 선박입출항 업무 관련 서류의 40%, 항만시설 사용 업무와 관련된 서류의 31%, 하역업무 관련 서류의 10%만이 EDI를 활용하고 있었다. EDI 활용이 저조한 사유로는 전송시간이 많이 걸리며, EDI 소프트웨어가 작동되지 않으며, 수신확인이 되지 않기 때문이라 응답을 하였다. 이처럼 오늘날 항만물류산업이 겪고 있는 물류 데이타 흐름의 단절적 현상은 시간이 흐를수록 해결될 기미가 보이고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리 나라가 겪고 있는 물류관련 업무를 한번의 데이터 입력으로 해결할 수 있는 원스톱 서비스 시스템개발을 목표로 우선 PORT-MIS EDI 업무를 처리할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이는 향후 화주, 운송사, 선사, 포워더, 창고업자, 하역회사, 철도청, 화물터미널, 컨테이너 터미널, 해양수산청, 관세청, 출입국관리사무소, 검역소 사이에 서로 교환되는 적하목록, Booking List, 컨테이너 Pick up정보, 위험물 정보, COPINO 정보를 비롯하여 대 관세청 신고 등 수출컨테이너 화물업무의 전반적인 영역으로까지 쉽게 확대할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구결과 구축된 시스템은 원천정보를 중앙의 통합데이터베이스에 저장하여 이를 사용자의 요구에 의해 인터넷을 통해 전달하는 FTP와 웹 EDI 방식을 결합한 하이브리드 형태이다.인터넷으로 주문처리하고, 신속 안전한 배달을 기대한다. 더불어 고객은 현재 자신의 물건이 배달되는 경로를 알고싶어 한다. 웹을 통해 물건을 주문한 고객이 자신이 물건의 배달 상황을 웹에서 모니터링 한다면 기업은 고객으로 공간적인 제약으로 인한 불신을 불식시키는 신뢰감을 주게 된다. 이러한 고객서비스 향상과 물류비용 절감은 사이버 쇼핑몰이 전국 어디서나 우리의 안방에서 자연스럽게 점할 수 있는 상황을 만들 것이다.SP가 도입되어, 설계업무를 지원하기위한 기본적인 시스템 구조를 구상하게 된다. 이와 함께 IT Model을 구성하게 되는데, 객체지향적 접근 방법으로 Model을 생성하고 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 Tool로 사용한다. 단계 4)는 Software Engineering 관점으로 접근한다. 이는 최종산물이라고 볼 수 있는 설계업무 지원 시스템을 Design하는 과정으로, 시스템에 사용될 데이터를 Design하는 과정과, 데이터를 기반으로 한 기능을 Design하는 과정으로 나눈다. 이를 통해 생성된 Model에 따라 최종적으로 Coding을 통하여 실제 시스템을 구축하게 된다.the making. program and policy decision making, The objectives of the study are to develop the methodology of modeling the socioeconomic evaluation, and build up the practical socioeconomic evaluation model of the HAN projects including scientific and technologica

  • As logistics facilities have a high ceiling height, simple structure, and the need for a quick return on investment, it is usually essential to advance the construction schedule of such facilities. Accordingly, PC structures, which require less labor, cost and schedule, can be more competitive than RC structures. However, most construction companies in Korea are familiar with RC structure design, have negative perceptions regarding PC structures, and do not sufficiently adopt new construction techniques. The structure that this research features has 110 columns that are 14 m high and are built to the same specification, and applying an RC design to the structure will lead to issues related to constructibility, economic viability, project duration and safety. Therefore, this study intends to feature PC design as an alternative to the RC warehouse design, and perform a comparative analysis of the reduction in labor, cost and construction schedule to highlight benefits. The research outcomes herein will provide inputs to subsequent studies on new construction strategies to advance the construction schedule, improve quality and constructibility, enhance safety and save costs.

The Effects of the Level of Use of LIS by Functions and the Linkage of Logistics Activities on the Logistics Performance (통합물류정보시스템의 활용이 물류성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • While the national economy has rapidly grown, both insufficience in indirect capital facilities of society and attempt to avoid having a logistical job as one of the so-called dirty, difficult and dangerous jobs have resulted in the leak of labor in the logistical industry. First of all, it was shown that the functional utilization level of the logistical information system had a partial effect on the logistical performance, that the reduction of logistical costs was influenced by the information system of connecting and supporting functions, and that the improvement of customer service was significantly influenced by only the supporting-function system. Second, the logistical performance was partially influenced by the linkage between logistical activities, only the customer linkage had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs, and the improvement of customer service was influenced by the intra-company linkage. Third, in verifying a hypothesis that the logistical information system's functional utilization level and organizational structure would interact with each other and have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown that based on their mutual interaction at a normalized level this center's functional information system had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs. Fourth, in testing a hypothesis that both the linkage between logistical activities and logistical organization structure would interact with each other and would have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown that their interaction at a normalized level was significant concerning only the reduction of logistical costs, while there was I10 its significance in the customer service. In proving a hypothesis that the linkage between logistical activities and logistical strategy patterns would interact with each other and would have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown in a differentiated, aggressive investment one among variously patterned logistical strategies that the customer linkage had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs, and in the improvement of customer service that the supplier linkage had a remarkable impact. It also was shown that in case of the cost reduction and offensive control strategy, the customer linkage had a remarkable effect, and th at in the improvement of customer service the intra-company and customer linkage had a significant effect. In the marketing and customer service strategy, finally, there was no any significant influence while the customer linkage had a significant impact in the improvement of customer service. Accordingly, whether or not individual companies utilize the logistical information system's functional utilization levels well will have an effect on their logistical performance, and how their supply chain management is well-linked will affect their logistical performance.

  • Due to the recent technological advance, new types of AS/RS which can handle containers are being developed, and it is expected that they will be applied to related industries before long. Some companies and institutes in our country have constructed pilot systems for high-density-high-stacking systems and tested them to develop AS/RS-typed warehouses for containers. Along with this kind of construction efforts, development of rules to operate such systems efficiently and safely is also important. When outward-bound shipment is scheduled in container port, re-marshalling which rearranges containers in the yard to make shipment easy is conducted. In this paper, operating rules for the re-marshalling as well as simulation experiments to evaluate the performance of the rules are presented. We suggested two kinds of alternative sets of operating rules for re-marshalling and described the relevant logics corresponding to all possible cases for each alternative of operating rules. Through various simulation experiments, we found that each alternative has the merits and demerits at the same time and we could not say the one is always superior to the other. As a useful strategy, changing the applying operating rule is recommended from moment to moment depending on the expected number of operations at the landside input/output position.

Evaluation of Traffic Vibration Effect for Utilization of Abandoned Mine Openings (휴·폐광산 채굴 공동 활용을 위한 교통 진동 영향 평가)

  • In this study, the effect of repeated traffic vibration on the long-term stability of mine openings is analyzed for re-utilization of abandoned mine galleries. The research mine in this study is an underground limestone mine which is developed by room-and-pillar mining method, and a dynamic numerical analysis is performed assuming that the research mine will be utilized as a logistics warehouse. The actual traffic vibration generated by the mining vehicles is measured directly, and its waveform is used as input data for dynamic numerical analysis, As a results of dynamic numerical analysis, after 20,000 repetitions of traffic vibration, the mine openings is analyzed to be stable, but an increase in the maximum principal stress and an additional area of plastic zone are observed in the analysis section. As shown in the changes of displacement, volumetric strain, and maximum principal stress which are measured at the mine opening walls. It is confirmed that if the repeated traffic vibration is continuously applied, the instability of the mine openings can be increased. Authors expect that the results of this study can be used as a reference for basic study on utilization of abandoned mine.

  • The purpose of this study is to present an alternative improving the efficient and reasonable of the physical distribution system management is influenced by many factors. Therefore, the study depends on the documentary method and survey method to achieve the purpose of this study. The major components of a physical distribution system are refers to as elements, include warehouse·storage system, transportation system, inventory system, physical distribution information system. The factors used in this study are ① factor of product(quality·A/S·added value of product·adaption of product·technical competitive power to other enterprises), ② factor of market(market channel·kinds of customer·physical distribution share), ③ factor of warehouse·storage(warehouse design·size·direction·storage ability·warehouse quality), ④ factor of transportation(promptness·reliability·responsibility·kinds of transportation·cooperation united transportation system·national transportation network), ⑤ factor of packaging (packaging design·material·educating program·pollution degree measure program), ⑥ factor of inventory(ordinary inventory criterion·consistence for inventories record), ⑦ factor of unloaded(unloaded machine·having machine ratio), ⑧ factor of information system (physical distribution quantity analysis·usable computer part), ⑨ factor of physical distribution cost(sales ratio to product) ⑩ factor of physical distribution system(physical distribution center etc). The implication of this study can be summarized as follows: ① In firms that have not adopted a systems integrative approach, physical distribution is a fragmented and often uncoordinated set of activities spread throughout various functions with function having its own set of priorities and measurements. ② The physical distribution is recognized as more an important strategic factor than a simple cost reduction factor, ③ It can be used a strategic competition tool to enterprise.

  • This paper presents the simulation design and analysis of Integrated Logistics System(ILS) which is operated by using the AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle). To maximize the operation performances of ILS with AGV, many parameters should be considered such as the number, velocity, and dispatching rule of AGV, part types, scheduling, and buffer sizes. We established the design of experiment in a way of Orthogonal Array in order to consider (1)maximizing the throughput; (2)maximizing the vehicle utilization; (3)minimizing the congestion; and (4)maximizing the Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS/RS) utilization among various critical factors. Furthermore, we performed the optimization by using the simulation-based analysis and Evolution Strategy(ES). As a result, Orthogonal Array which is conducted far fewer than ES significantly saved not only the time but the same outcome when compared after validation test on the result from the two methods. Therefore, this approach ensures the confidence and provides better process for quick analysis by specifying exact experiment outcome even though it provides small number of experiment.
