본 논문은 우리날의 자동차산업의 성장과 자동차의 물류체계구조를 공간적인 측면에서 분석한 것이다. 자동차 생산이 이루어진 이후 불과 30여년만에 우리나라는 세계 5위의 자동차생산국으로 부상하였다. 자동차 물류체계구조는 크게 배송체계와 판매체계로 구분된다. 자동차 3사 모두 잠재수요력과 효율적인 배송을 위해 출고장을 입지시키고 전국을 광역화하여 출고장의 공급지역을 관할하고 있다. 한편 판매체계를 보면 지역본부, 지점, 영업소의 계층구조를 구축하여 전국을 대권역, 중지역, 소구역으로 세분하여 판매의 공간구조를 구축하고 있다. 기본적으로는 자동차 잠재수요를 바탕으로 하여 판매거점이 형성되고 있으며, 지역본부에 속해 있는 지점들과 영업소들의 영업활동은 어느 정도 설정된 관할구역내에서 이루어지고 있다. 앞으로 자동차 산업을 발전시키기 위해서는 기술 개발과 해외시장 침투도 중요하지만 유통구조의 합리화를 통한 경쟁력 제고도 매우 중요하다.

우편물류 분야의 전세계 전자태그(RFID) 시스템 시장 규모는 2016년경 25억 유로에 달할 전망이고, 국내외적으로 정부와 민간을 막론하고 RFID 시스템을 적용한 시범사업 및 본 사업이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기술 개발 및 비용 관점에서 현재 여전히 넘어야 할 부분이 산적해 있다. 본 고에서는 해외 우편업계에서 진행되고 있는 다양한 사례를 소개하고 현재 RFID 기술적용 수준에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 아울러 국내정보통신부 우정사업본부 주관으로 2002년부터 단계적으로 진행되고 있는 RFID 기반실시간 우편물류 시스템 개발 현황을 소개하고 향후 적용 및 개선 방안에 대해서 고찰해 보고자 한다.

최근 전자상거래를 이용하는 소비자들이 전자상거래 업체들의 사기성 거래에 노출되어 그에 따른 피해가 급속히 증가함에 따라 이를 개선하기 위하여 정부에서는 EC 소비자 법률개정을 추진중에 있다. 하지만 법률안 개정에 대한 전자상거래 업계의 반발도 큰 장애요소로 작용하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 에스크로 서비스업체와 물류업체와의 PRM 을 도입함으로써 전자상거래 업계와 에스크로 서비스업체, 물류업체 소비자 모두가 만족할 수 있는 개선된 에스크로 모델을 제시하여 국내 전자상거래 시장의 활성화를 도모하고자 한다.

정보 및 네트워크 기술의 발전과 시장의 세계화는, 기존의 물리적인 거래 환경이 인터넷 및 이동 통신 기술을 통한 전자적인 거래 환경으로 변할 수 있는 추진력이 되어오고 있다 그러나 전자적인 업무 환경의 성공은 기존의 물리적인 상품이 정확하게 이동하며 그로부터 정보가 신속히 획득 및 공유되는 것을 기본 조건으로 하고 있다. 따라서 공급망(Supply Chain)에 속한 거래 주체들이 전자적인 협업을 원활하게 수행하고 정보를 손쉽고 정확히 교환할 수 있도록 물리적 환경과 전자 공간을 연결할 수 있는 전자 물류(Electronic Logistics) 환경이 매우 중요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 종추적 시스템을 중심으로 전자 물류의 핵심 구성 요소들에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

가락동 농수산물도매시장은 지난 1985년 개설된 국내 최초 공영도매시장이자 연간 230만톤 거래 규모의 세계 최대 도매시장으로 서울시민 농수산 먹거리의 약 50%를 담당하고 있으며 전국 공영도매시장 물량의 약 33%를 처리하는 등 전국 농수산물 유통의 중추 기능을 담당하고 있다. 가락시장은 5,000여개 유통업체가 영업 중이며 하루 이용객은 13만명, 출입차량은 6만7,000대에 달할 정도로 과부하를 겪고 있다. 또한 도시 주거환경을 저해하는 혐오시설로 치부돼 이전 압박을 받아왔으며 전반적인 시설 노후화와 유통 수요에 부적합한 물류구조, 주변 교통정체 야기 등의 문제로 시설현대화 필요성도 제기되어 왔다. 이에 따라 서울시농수산식품공사가 지난 2009년 재건축을 통한 시설현대화 사업을 발표하고 기존의 시장 기능을 유지하면서 재건축을 하는 순환식 시설현대화 사업을 3단계(당초 계획은 2009년~2018년까지 10년 예상했으나 가락시장 계획변경 타당성 검토용역 결과에 따라 2025년까지 지연될 것으로 예상됨)에 걸쳐 추진키로 했다. 이에 따라 1단계 사업은 지난 2011년 6월부터 진행되어 2015년 2월 준공 예정이다. 본지는 가락시장 시설현대화 1단계 공사에서 기계설비 및 소방공사를 담당한 (주)성아테크(대표 정해돈) 이완식 현장소장과 시공사인 대림산업(주) 박승재 현장소장을 만나 현장 이야기를 들어 보았다.

This study aims to understand the conditions for using logistics outsourcing of Korean enterprises, present existing problems, examine factors affecting utility, and analyze the pattern of logistics outsourcing based on contract term, and to ultimately contribute to enhancing competitiveness of logistics enterprises. Through the literature survey 8 factors were identified as three broad factors of corporate strategy, corporate characteristics, and environment. Factor analysis was conducted on the bases of 155 collected data among 400 distributions for 2 months from April to May in 2008. From the result of analysis, the implication and finding can be summarized into three aspects. Firstly, Korean companies value factors relative to corporate strategies as motivating factors for logistics outsourcing. Secondly, Korean companies consider logistics outsourcing depending on how to handle customers' demands and the severity of competition. Thirdly, it was found that product and organization characteristics are perceived as more important when contract term with logistics business is longer. The implications can be observed into two aspects. Firstly once the logistics outsourcing between manufacturers and logistics companies are determined, it was verified that mutual agreement, particular contracts and periodic communications can increase the outcome. Secondly the logistics outsourcing appeared to be different depending on the level of entering to foreign market and resulted in higher performance as well.

The aim of this research is to identify the competencies required by logistics managers or supply chain managers in China. And this research also attempts to show their relative importance and key knowledge areas that require improvement. Using a survey questionnaire, data was collected against forty three logistics and supply chain management skills or competencies, which were then grouped into four categories and analysed. The Analysis revealed that supply chain awareness, ability to make decisions, analytical skill, communication skill, supply chain cost, people skill, and integration of internal or external information flow which belong to logistics planning group are considered the most important Competencies for effective and efficient logistics functioning. On the other hand, reverse logistics and IATA regulations from environmental awareness group show little influence on logistics managers for improving their logistics performances. The results have implications for a variety of parties including prospective logisticians, students, teachers and companies considering expanding their business to Chinese market. For example, the results permit companies to employ appropriate logistics managers who are qualified with sufficient skills and competencies suggested in this research. In the case of practitioners, the results provide a benchmark for comparison with their current level of abilities and suggested competencies.

In this study, we explore the characteristics of directors' network structure and investigate the relationship among the network of board directors in the Korean logistics industry. Social network analysis reveals hidden patterns of the interlocking directors' network. We construct a directors' network index using social network analysis of the Korean logistics industry. Empirical results have showed that of the 23 companies analyzed, the network index of Korean Air is the highest. The interlocking network index of Korean Air, Hanjin and Hanjin Logistics Company is 0.4, 0.32 and 0.24 respectively. Korean Air has a strong central interlocking network that can create social power through the logistics industry. Our paper contributes to the broad literature in two ways. First, unlike the existing literature on director structure, this paper concentrates on the relationship among interlocking directors. Second, logistics firms need to be aware of the importance of networks and recognize the occurrence of power.

As the popularity of logistics service outsourcing has been continuously growing, one of the most frequently addressed issues is how to estimate the effect of cost reduction for users and profit gains from outsourcing contract for providers. Many manufacturing companies agree that logistics outsourcing helps to reduce their operating costs, but some other companies still do not achieve the cost saving or do not trust logistics service providers, so they keep up in-house logistics operations. On the other hand, logistics service providers have low profitability from domestic business activities since they should meet the requirements for highly customized and diverse services from customers and unstable market situation. This study provided the status report dealing with logistics service contracts in Korea. From the focused group interview with logistics professionals, we found out that service scope, scale and cost structure are the most influential factors affecting logistics service contracts. Also, logistics service providers are more sensitive than users regarding value-added logistics service, contract duration and process. Moreover, this study also proposed the standard clauses for logistics service contract and types of logistics contract applied in current logistics fields. As a result, it is expected that these achievements from this study can be utilized to improve the satisfaction of logistics outsourcing in upgrading service quality and customer service level.
