On the Strategic Alliance between Libraries and Publishers (도서관계와 출판계의 전략적 제휴방안 모색)

  • This study aims to suggest a strategic alliance between libraries and publishers in Korea. When it considers the linear distribution channel of current publications and the entity and a butterfly effect of knowledge communication crisis, the publishers as production agency and the library as consuming subject must search a strategic cooperative plans. In order to achieve this goal, the study analysed the four issues(fixed book prices, library infrastructure, book and library supply policy of government, legal deposit system) which is important.

  • 지역 박물관은 대도시의 대규모 박물관에 비하여 전시물의 양과 질 그리고 관람객의 접근성에 있어서 열세에 있다. 이러한 가운데 최근 과학기술 문화사업 시행계획에 의한 중점 추진 전략으로써 지방테마 과학관 지원사업이 실행되고 있다. 지역 박물관중 특히 과학관은 어린이와 청소년층의 교육에 크게 도움이 되는 전시를 특징으로 하며 현재 세계 각국에서 다양한 주제로 관람객의 방문을 유도하고 있다. 이러한 기초 조사를 통해 지역의 문화유산을 보다 잘 보존하고 지역 문화 발전과 지역경제에 이바지하는 시설로 자리 잡는데 필요한 마케팅의 디자인 요소를 분석하고 살펴보고자 한다.

  • The studies of souvenirs in korea are mostly limited to the development of souvenirs as tourism resources. The purpose of this study are as fellows. First, to develop the model of souvenir purchasing behavior and to segment a market. Second, To emphasize the value of a souvenir as cultural goods centered around it? authenticity. Third, To establish an integrated concept through reviewing various definitions of souvenir. An extensive literature review was conducted in order to become familiar with salient issues in the authenticity and of souvenir? and question are method was used and the collected data ware analyzebby means of SPSS/PC+. The major findings of the study may be summarized as follows: First, Tourism style, the congnition of a souvenir? authenticity and souvenir purchasing behavior are different according to Tourists(equation omitted) nationality. Second, souvenir purchasing behavior is affected by the tourism style, tourist(equation omitted) of a souvenir? authenticity and these three factors are interrelated.

A Comparative Study of "Jeitinho" in Brazil and Nepotism in Korea From a Business Perspective (브라질의 제이칭뉴(jeitinho)와 한국의 연고주의 간 비교 연구: 비즈니스 관점을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to answer the following three questions: 1) What is "jeitinho" in Brazil and its historical roots, 2) What are similarities and differences between "jeitinho" and nepotism in Korea, and 3) Considering the nation-wide prevalence of "jeitinho" in Brazil as a desirable way of thinking and acting, how can Korean firms in Brazil effectively manage cultural differences between Brazil and Korea? To answer these questions, this study reviews previous research on "jeitinho" and nepotism and systematically compare them from a theoretical perspective. After that, the comparison results are further discussed in the context of Korean firms in Brazil, suggesting how the Brazilian and Korean culture can be successfully integrated to boost performance.

  • This essay would focus on a kinds of new archival strategy. The main frame has been the kinds of activities regulated by laws, or formal activities since 1999. In the case of presidential archives has no another frame. There had never kinds of presidential archives system until President Noh, if anything. It means that the frame has some important points. Although it is, we have to say about the limits of the frame. This essay show 'metaphor frame' for archival system. I think that we have to guess there are methodologies below the two frames. One is quantitative study methodology, and another is qualitative research methodology. The later focuses on the experiences for making narratives. We have to know that this methodology is out of fashioned in the field of history department and cultural anthropology department for the purpose of alternative studies. This essay says about 'archival field description' and 'narrative records' for the new records in archival field. I have to say about that we needs to discuss about kinds of new archival discours. And to conclude, we should manage the records in culture.

  • The changes in the 4th industrial revolution era are not limited to specific sectors, but affect all sectors of industry. Thus all companies are required to respond effectively to changes. Some companies response by adopting cutting-edge ICT and some companies improve the organizational structure, or enhance the competence of individual employees. This study is based on the assumption that the responses to the change in the 4th industrial revolution era should not be uniform, and that the response strategies and priorities should vary according to the characteristics of the companies. The purpose of this study is to suggest both different response strategies and the priority of the responding factors(areas) to small and medium-sized enterprises. Data were collected through the semi-Delphi method. As a result of data analysis, the priorities of the medium-sized enterprises were as follows: introduction of IT-strengthening the competence of the individuals - establishing technology infrastructure-improving organizational structure - efficiency of work - improving organizational culture. While the priorities of the response factors(area) of the small-sized companies were as follows: strengthening the competence of the individuals - efficiency of work - introduction of IT - establishing technology infrastructure - improving organizational structure - improving organizational culture.

A Study on the Job Development and Reorganization Strategy of the National Library of Korea, Sejong (국립세종도서관 직무개발 및 조직개편 전략 연구)

  • The National Library of Korea (Sejong), which was launched in December 2013, has been in the spotlight as a specialized library for Korean policy information and as a Sejong city complex cultural facility. Nevertheless, the essential identity, organizational status, division of affairs and core competencies, policy information collection, and services of the NLK (Sejong) are weak and inadequate. Therefore, this study developed a job model for establishing an essential identity and providing high-quality policy information services nationwide and suggested a strategic organizational reorganization plan. The job model was proposed as a total of 110 by adding 38 to the existing 72. Based on this job model, the short-term reorganization model (2023-2024) changed the grade of the library director from the current grade 4 (administrative officer) to Senior Executive, and the grade of the director by division from grade 5 (secretary) to grade 4. The sub-organization has expanded the current 3 divisions (planning management, policy information, and service use) to 4 divisions (planning administration, library collection and development, policy information service, and public service and culture, with a total of 51 personnel. In the mid-to-long-term model (2025-2032), the sub-organization was expanded to 4 divisions and 1 office (planning administration, library collection and development, policy information service, public service and culture, and policy information research), and presented a total of 61 personnel. To this end, it is necessary to persuade stakeholders with the argument of advocating the Korean policy information center, which is a macro-strategic goal, and focus all capabilities on strategic reorganization and revision of 「Decree on the Organization of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism」.

A Study on the Safety Culture Index Measurement of Pilot Training School (조종사양성 교육기관의 안전문화지수 측정에 관한 연구)

  • 조직의 안전문화가 사고의 원인이 될 수 있다는 것이 알려지면서 안전문화의 개선과 정착의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 우리나라는 항공법 제49조에 지정전문교육기관은 자체 안전관리시스템을 운영하도록 규정하고 있으며 관련 규정에는 조직의 안전문화를 조사하여 상태를 파악하고 발견된 문제점을 개선할 것을 권고하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교통안전공단에서 개발한 축약형 CASS Scale을 사용하여 조종사양성 교육기관의 안전문화지수를 측정하였다. 측정결과 안전문화 평균치는 3.711로 나타났으며 하위지표의 측정결과는 직원 권한위임에 대한 평균값이 3.980으로 가장 높게 나타났고, 상벌체계에 대한 평균값이 3.309로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 서비스제공자는 이러한 측정 결과에 근거하여, 취약부분에 대한 개입전략을 수립, 적용함으로써 조직문화 향상에 도움을 줄 것으로 사료된다.

Exploring Changes in Organizational Culture after Firm-Wide Institutionalization of Smart Work: Case of a Service Company 'H' (스마트워크 후 조직 문화 변화 연구: 서비스 대기업 'H사' 사례)

  • While there is a rapid transition to smart work due to COVID-19, not many studies have measured the changes in organizational culture after firm-wide institutionalization of smart work. Through a questionnaire and a series of stakeholder interviews, this study examined how and to what extent employees' perception of organizational culture changed after the introduction of smart work in a large leisure service company H in South Korea. The working culture of the organization is measured as the changes in the organizational members' perception on seven dimensions: strategic innovativeness, organizational flexibility, fair human resource management, rational decision making processes, organizational vitality, trustful collaboration, proactive leadership. The results demonstrated that, after the introduction of smart work, the organizational members' perception on strategic innovativeness, organizational flexibility, organizational vitality, trustful collaboration have declined significantly while the changes in fair human resource management, rational decision making processes, and proactive leadership are insignificant. Though found to be insignificant, follow up interviews revealed that participants think that the role of management leadership is very critical for the smart work systems to be institutionalized successfully. While the smart work may have different effects depending upon industry or organizational characteristics, this study present a case for changes in organizational culture after institutionalizing smart work. Implications are discussed with further research issues at the end.
