The Haenyeo of Jeju exists as a unique human resource only in Korea and Japan in the world. Especially, the anti-Japan opposition movement of the Haenyeo of Jeju, which had started to get the right to live on their own in 1931, had developed as the national liberation movement by struggling against a colonial of Japan and the official regulation association that was a plundering organization of Japan. Accordingly, there is making an effort to register Jeju's women divers as The National Treasure in UNESCO's Memory of the world. In this research, we are going to make stuff like a digital storytelling, characters, animation movies, games, and hompage to let our children understand and succeed the spirit and culture of the Haenyeo. We'll also use these contents for the education. We examine ways to recreate the culture resources related to the Haenyeo who gradually vanishes.

This study examines the structure and contents of the various programs offered by the Cologne City Library in Cologne, Germany, and discusses its implications for the role of the changing public libraries in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Cologne Municipal Library, which has continuously played a leading role in the education of German libraries since its opening, has been transforming itself to become a center for producing information and knowledge and developing culture in accordance with the dynamic era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Currently, the Cologne Municipal Library plays a role as a multi-cultural space in the community where local members can experience various cultures, such as movies, music and games, and create a culture, beyond the traditional functions of library collection and preservation. The program of the City Library in Cologne, Germany, will help to redesign the functions and roles of public libraries in Korea in the future, and plan library contents for local members.

This study is a research on the Photo-Storytelling applying factors of storytelling based on comics for the children photo education. Creation of new forms of contents has become possible due to the increase of the image creation and consumption in a new digital environment. Along with this development, the capacity for critical image literacy and the children photo education, as cultural arts, are more in demand than ever before. Therefore, the study proposes a new type of Photo-Storytelling that applies storytelling technique based on comics. First, we investigates the format of comics and compares photo and comics. Second, we analyzes photo education, which applies storytelling based on Comics and analyzes advantage it. This study will contribute to the development of basic research for children photo education by presenting a new form of photo education called the comic photos as the Photo-Storytelling program based on comics.

The study notices the value of the expressions material and method in design education as the subject of for appreciation study. The objective of the present study is, it is as follows: to understand education system and social and cultural atmosphere, diverse elements including in the value of the expressions material and method; to get an overall perspective on various aspects of life; and to develop contents for appreciation study which points to help learners perceived values.

장례지도사는 임종순간부터 시신처리, 유골개장 등 시신에 가장 근접하여 이를 처리하고 관리 및 통제하는 전문인력이다. 미국이나 일본 등은 시신을 다루는 직업 종사자를 국민의 안정과 건강이라는 측면에서 국가 자격제도 혹은 국가공인 자격제도로 관리하고 있다. 이는 일정한 지식과 조건을 갖춘 자격있는 장례지도사가 시신과 관련시설을 전문적인 지식과 기능으로 관리하고 통제함으로써 각종 질병으로 부터 스스로를 보호함은 물론 이를 방문하는 공중의 위생과 건강을 담보하고자 하는 제도적 역할 때문이다. 이에 우리나라도 역시 장례지도사를 국가적 차원에서 관리하고 통제해야 한다고 생각한다. 더불어 우리나라의 문화에 가장 적합한 표준장례지도사 교육과정의 개발이 시급히 요구된다.

2015 개정 교육과정에 의해 2018년부터 중학교에서 정보 교과가 필수로 수업이 진행되고 있다. 핵심역량으로 정보문화소양, 컴퓨팅 사고력, 협력적 문제해결력이 제시되었고, 특히 컴퓨팅 사고력이 주목받고 있다. ISTE와 미국 컴퓨터과학교사협회(CSTA)에서 정의한 컴퓨팅 사고력의 하위 9가지 영역을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 9가지 영역 중에서 자료 표현 요소에 초점을 두고 학습자들의 자료 표현력 신장을 위해 필요한 개인적 특성으로 사고 패턴에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 향후 교육적 방법으로 적용이 가능하도록 제언하였다.

For us who live in the 21 century, a variety of media and videos such as TV, movies, magazines, internet, etc. have now become indispensable entities. Because of changing age, unlimited sharing of information, and development of machines, fashion and ideas are rapidly conveyed and theres is also a tendency to seek after more sense based and stimulating things. Around us, there are innumerable colors which do not seem to have any special presence like the air and go beyond human ability to identify them. Such colors exert direct influence upon the visual culture and most rapidly reflect that age's trend. It is precisely from this perspective that the importance of neon colors, which have recently received the spotlight, have emerged in a magnified way. Yet, although much research has been conducted on colors by earlier studies, there has been no research on neon colors and as such, I felt the need for a study of neon colors. The purpose of this study is to recognize the importance and psychology of colors within the visual culture, discover whether there is a correlation between the characteristics of neon colors and the visual culture, and seek ways to demonstrate it by applying it to art education.

Several Korean cultural property-related foundations have investigated Korean cultural property located abroad with the help of international organizations owning Korean cultural objects and the investigation results serve as the basis of preservation/restoration, exhibition, and educational efforts. Korean cultural objects have been widely used abroad, for instance, for research and exhibition purposes, whereas in Korea, there are still only very few examples of using cultural property based on research results and accessibility to cultural property located abroad is also low. The aim of this study is to explore plans to utilize Korean cultural property located abroad in Korea, and exhibition displays and online museums can be good ways to utilize Korean cultural property located abroad. These will help increase access to Korean cultural property located abroad and find a variety of applications, including exhibitions, education.

The purposed of this study is to deeply understand the discrimination experiences of multicultural youth in school. For this, an interview with 12 multicultural youth was conducted and the data was analyzed using Giorgi's method of psychological phenomenology. As a result, 58 main meaning units, 22 emerging themes, and 9 essential themes were drawn. The essential themes consist of 'Experience of unwanted exposure of multicultural origin and negative emotions', 'Determination of his or her existence based on the multicultural family', 'Not affected by the fact that he or she is from multicultural family', 'A favorable response on multiple cultures and experience of favor', 'Discrimination on grounds of unmanageable fact', 'Becoming a figure of fun and being bullied', 'Unhelpful multicultural education and interests from one's surroundings', 'The impact of unstoppable and unresolved discrimination' and 'Self-awareness as a multicultural youth'. Based on these results, discussion and implications of the study were presented.

한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 주관하는 2004년 제1차 공공기관 우수 데이터베이스(DB) 시상식이 지난달 20일 한국관광공사빌딩 지하 강당에서 개최됐다. 지난해 통계∙기상∙기업∙법률∙특허 등 5개 분야 DB 10종을 우수DB로 선정한 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올해 공공기관 DB를 대상으로 우수DB 6종을 선정했다. 이번에 선정된 공공기관 우수DB 6종은 재정경제부, 문화관광부, 산업자원부, 건설교통부와 산하 공 공기관에서 운영하고 있는 데이터베이스 가운데 건설교통, 경제산업, 문화예술 등 3개 분야에서 품질이 우수한 각 2종씩의 DB가 선정됐다. 건설∙교통 분야에서는 한국도로공사의‘로드플러스’와 건설교통부의‘건설교통종합정보센터’가 선정됐고, 경제∙산업 분야에서는 조달청의‘나라장터’와 한국은행의‘경제통계시스템’, 문화∙예술 분야에서는 한국관광공사의‘Visit Korea’와 문화재청의‘국가문화유산종합정보서비스’가 선정됐다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올 11월경 정보통신, 교육학술, 과학기술분야를 대상으로 제2차 우수 DB를 선정할 계획이며, 자세한 내용은 데이터베이스품질평가센터(www.dbq.or.kr)에서 소개하고 있다.
