The steady increase in academic computing activities on campus have blurred the distinctions between Academic Libraries and Computer Centers. Considerable attention has been focused in recent years on the cooperative relationship between these two separate campus units. This article explores collaboration of two units in Chief Information Officers (CIO) organizational model that have a number of colleges and universities in America, proposes an application programs in CIO Organizational Model in order to use National Colleges and Universities. Therefore, This author undertook a study of convergence of information technology and the organizational relationships among information management positions In campus, and sought on CIO's decision-making roles, their responsibility, various CIO organizational models. The models described can help a college or university identify the administrative configuration most suitable for its campus culture.

As to the structure of author tables for the Korean libraries using the Korean alphabet Hangul for filing, no other system is understood more relevant to author notations than the analytico-synthetic system. The Korean character consists of syllables respectively dividual into 'consonant+vowel' or 'consonant+vowel+consonant,' with the first element a consonant and the second a vowel. When these elements are synthesized with figure representation, they make an enumerative two-figure table. Individualizing and assigning, therefore, are done without listing many en-tries on the table or looking up notations in ready-made enumerative author tables. We still do not have general agreements in form of entry, reading of the Japanese and Chinese names, transliteration of foreign words, and filing system. What is more, so flexible and hospitable a notation system should be adopted as to meet the anticipated changes. The writer introduces an author notation system that could make 150,000 divisions by combinating figures, thus making it possible to endure changes through readjustments. It is considered effective, convenient, and efficacious for individualization.

Libraries manage e-Books as a new kinds of library materials and provide library users with information services in Korea. Initially, this study was intended to be an investigation into several misconceptions surrounding e-Books and their pricing structure. This study is also concerned with the fallacies of unifying e-Book techniques from four perspectives: (1)the misunderstandings related to unifying viewer and DRM, (2)the misconceptions about unifying service techniques in the industrial structure, (3)the analyses of essence of e-Book techniques, (4)the settlement of users´ inconveniences through continuous technique refinement. Based on the results, this study suggests various problems associated with the collaborative purchase of e-Books and presents several ideal strategies for their acquisition and services.

In this study, we proposed the FRAD concept model of authority data schema for author, organization and journal titles included in the academic papers. Academic information includes author names, affiliations, publishers, journals and conferences. They are used as access points, and there are multiple relationships among these entities. It is expected that the use of authority data for academic information based on FRAD conceptual model could improve more accurate retrieval of information, systematic management of academic information, and various forms of knowledge representation. In this study, our entity-relationship authority data will be linked to the document, and included the several properties and relationship to identify the object.

This study reviewed theories for database integration, which combines heterogeneous data structures, and suggested a practical method to integrate databases of Korean Research Memory(KRM) and Infrastructural Basic Research(IBR) as a case study. In order to broadly distribute the outcomes of IBR, it is essential to be connected to and integrated with the database of KRM. As a solution, it was suggested that the current database of IBR should follow standard guidelines as a XML database, and its future database should be integrated with the database of KRM or be established as a stand-alone system

This paper deals with the free vibration analysis of compressive tapered members resting on elastic foundation using the Differential Quadrature Method. Based on the differential equation subjected to the boundary conditions, adopted from the open literature, which governs the free vibrations of such member, this equation is applied to the Differential Quadrature Method. For computing natural frequencies, the numerical procedures are developed by QR Algorithm, in which the Chebyshev-Gauss-Lobatto method is used for choosing the grid points. The numerical methods developed herein for computing natural frequencies are programmed in FORTRAN code, and all solutions obtained in this study are quite agreed with those in the open literature.

In this paper, the electric characteristics in multilayer organic light emitting, diodes(OLEDs) are observed using a numerical device modeling method. The methode is applied to a general device structure, ITO/CuPC/${\alpha}-NPD$/ Alq3/LiF/Al, that has received broad attention in previous literature. The fitted current-voltage characteristics are quite consistent with the results which was experimentally determined in reference papers. This research approached results in a detailed understanding of the operating machanism of a multilayer OLEDs and applied to a set of real devices.

지식 관리 시스템, 정보 검색 시스템, 그리고 전자 도서관 시스템 등의 문서를 다루는 시스템에서는 문서의 구조화 및 문서의 저장이 필요하다. 문서에 담겨있는 정보를 추출하기 위해 가장 우선시되어야 하는 것은 키워드의 선별이다. 기존 연구에서 가장 널리 사용된 알고리즘은 단어의 사용 빈도를 체크하는 TF(Term Frequency)와 IDF(Inverted Document Frequency)를 활용하는 TF-IDF 방법이다. 그러나 TF-IDF 방법은 문서의 의미를 반영하지 못하는 한계가 존재한다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 세 가지 방법을 활용한다. 첫 번째는 문헌 속에서의 단어의 위치 및 서론, 결론 등의 특정 부분에 사용된 단어의 활용도를 체크하는 문헌구조적 기법이고, 두 번째는 강조 표현, 비교 표현 등의 특정 사용 문구를 통제 어휘로 지정하여 활용하는 방법이다. 마지막으로 어휘의 사전적 의미를 분석하여 이를 메타데이터로 활용하는 방법인 언어학적 기법이 해당된다. 이를 통하여 키워드 추출 과정에서 문서의 의미 분석도 수행하여 키워드 추출의 효율을 높일 수 있다.

The Korean food, which has been attracting attention only as a unique culture of Korea, has become popular in the world market by being used as a material of Korean Wave and me-media. The systematic organization of knowledge for recipes and related information can highlight the value of Korean food. It will serve as a basis for improving the reusability of Korean food contents through expanded and limited search and effective browsing. This study purports to design an ontology for establishing Korean food knowledge structure. Ontology modeling is based on OWL. Vocabularies of Korean food were examined based on 32 volumes of Korean food information, and data elements were extracted by analyzing five domains and applications. As a result, the study derived classes and properties, and proposed an indexing example.

본 연구는 여대생의 건강증진행위를 설명하기 위하여, 문헌고찰을 통해 가설적 모형을 도출하고, 여대생을 대상으로 건강증진행위를 횡단적으로 조사하여 모형의 적합성과 모형에서 제시된 가설을 검증하는 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구에 사용된 변수는 건강증진행위와 관련된 선행 문헌의 고찰을 근거로 선정되었으며, 총 280명의 자료가 최종 분석에 이용되었다. 설문지는 Pender의 건강증진모형을 기초로 하여 개발하였으며, 조정요인 5문항, 건강상태 지각 3문항, 건강 통제위 4문항, 자아 존중감 5문항, 건강증진 행위 24문항의 총 41문항으로 구성하여 사용하였다. 개발된 항목에 대하여 간호대학생들을 대상으로 사전 조사를 실시하여 최종적인 설문지를 완성하였다. 본 연구모형에 대한 구성개념의 파악을 위해서 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 측정항목에 대한 요인별 단일 차원성 확인 및 통계적 검정을 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 가설검증을 위해 공변량 구조분석을 실시하였다. 모형의 적합도는 카이제곱은 244.04(자유도=121, p<0.001), GFI=0.91, CFI=0.97, NNFI=0.96, RMSR= 0.022으로 나타났다. 분석결과 여대생의 자아존중감과 내적통제위는 건강상태지각 및 건강증진행위에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었으며, 여대생의 건강상태지각은 건강증진행위에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
