This study performed meta-analysis of published articles to examine the relationship between sarcopenia and smoking. We searched the PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane library, and RISS database sup to January 2017 using search terms such as sarcopenia AND (smoking OR tobacco OR cigarette). A total of 25 articles were included in the analysis (seven cohort studies and 18 cross-sectional studies). Incidence of sarcopenia in smokers and non-smokers was analyzed by the random effects model. Incidence of sarcopenia was OR 1.49 (95% CI 1.21, 1.84, p<.001, I2 = 88.20%), Asian (OR 1.28, 95% CI 0.91, 1.78, p=0.150, I2=85.32%), and Western (OR 1.65, 95% CI 1.25, 2.17, p<.001, I2=91.08%), Western smokers showed a significantly higher incidence of sarcopenia:males and females with OR 1.25(95% CI 1.11, 1.40, p<.001, 12=87.4%) and 1.80(95% CI 0.98, 3.30, p=.057, 12=89.1 %) respectively. Male smokers showed significantly higher incidence of sarcopenia. Based on the results of the study, smoking in Western males is related to sarcopenia. However, since the criteria for the diagnosis of sarcopenia and the criteria for smoking were different, cumulative individual clinical studies applying uniform assessment for the evaluation of sarcopenia and smoking status are needed in the future.

This study was reviewed the changes in main ingredients, seasonings and cooking methods of Tangpyeongchae in Korean cook books and literatures published from the 1700s to the 1960s. The first published books about Tangpyeongchae were in Kosasibijib and Kyongdojabji, written in 1783 and the late 1700s, respectively. Tangpyeongchae, a representative traditional Korean dish that was royal cuisine offered at ritual events in the Chosun Dynasty, was called Cheongpochae in the royal court. It was a dish made by mixing cheongpomuk (mung bean gel), meat, dropwort, mung bean sprout, egg strips and laver. This dish has been seasoned with vinegar, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic, green onion, red pepper, salt, sugar, sesame oil and sesame salt since the early 1900s. Dropwort, egg strips, laver, pine nut (powder), red pepper powder, and red pepper threads were used as garnishes. Tangpyeongchae was made by mixing cheongpomuk with other ingredients and seasonings until the late 1800s. Since the early 1900s Tangpyeongchae has been seasoned first with other ingredients and then mixed cheongpomuk.

Dengue virus is a typical mosquito-borne virus, and the half of the world's population is exposed to infection. Dengue virus causes relatively mild symptoms such as dengue fever. However, when not treated properly, it is known to cause severe symptoms such as dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome with a mortality rate of over 20%. Development of dengue virus detection technology is very important because it is reported that early diagnosis of dengue fever can lower the mortality rate to less than 1%. In this study, patent search related to dengue virus detection technology was conducted in Korea, USA, Europe, Japan, and China. The quantitative analysis of 69 validated patents from the searched patents was conducted by country, year, and patent holder. In addition, in-depth analysis was carried out by classifying into three categories: molecular diagnostics, immuno-diagnostics, and cell culture-based diagnostics from all validated patents. From these results, we analyzed the patent trend related to dengue virus detection and dengue fever diagnosis technology and discussed the features and limitations of molecular diagnostics and immuno-diagnostics at present level. Furthermore, we discussed the direction of technology development and future prospects to overcome limitations.

The purpose of this study was to develop the indicatives for the analysis of the effects of Gyeonggi-do Book Sharing Project on pre-schoolers of supporter' reading care and thereby, suggest some data useful to the establishment of a reading culture promotion policy in Gyeonggi-do. Preceding studies and cases were reviewed to analyze the effects of the book-sharing project on pre-schoolers of supporter' reading care and thereby, develop some measurement indicatives, and thus, the indicatives were verified by professionals using the Delphi technique. Then, supporter of 3~5 year-old pre-schoolers were sampled from 7 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do (Pocheon-si, Yangpyeong-gun, Yeoju-si, Dongducheon-si, Gapyeong-gun, Yeoncheon-gun and Yangju-si) to be divided into control and test groups and thereby, their reading care effect indicatives were compared before and after the test. The theoretical background is theory of family literacy, emergent literacy and parenting efficacy. As a result of developing the indicatives for analysis of pre-schoolers of supporter's reading care effects and comparing them for the sample pre-schoolers of supporter, before and after the test, the book-sharing project was found effective in improving reading care. The most difficult problem in pre-schoolers' earlier reading education involves acquisition of reading habit. So, it is deemed necessary to operate a regular book sharing project involving public organization and homes. As a result of developing the indicatives and analyzing the effects of the book-sharing project, it was confirmed that the project would serve to improve pre-schoolers of support's reading care and therefore, this study seems to provide some ground for the operation of a sustainable book-sharing project to narrow the education divide and promote a book reading culture in Gyeonggi-do.

This study was carried out to survey and analyze the actual state of reading in Goyang citizens, and to utilize it as a base data for Goyang City's 2nd 'Reading Culture Promotion Plan'. To do this, including references related to reading survey and the 2021 National Reading Survey questionnaire survey questions, the questionnaires that reflected characteristics of adult and student respondents constructed. Then, the survey of 960 adults and 540 students in Goyang City conducted and analyzed the results, and several useful suggestions deduced for 'Goyang City Reading Culture Promotion Plan'. First, the category of reading materials have to be expanded from the paper media to the various media. Second, the expandation of collections in libraries and the services that will help actually buy books are necessary. Third, various reading programs should develop, and the opportunities for citizens to participate in reading and club activities through online should also be increased. Fourth, the facilities and service environments for activating reading should ensure that the accessibility of everyday life. Finally, among the existing reading culture promotion projects, the 'smart libraries', 'Inter-library loan services', 'reading and cultural programs management', and 'Goyang Book Pay' projects need to be sustained and expanded. This study is significant in that it has investigated the actual reading situation of real citizens and has converged the opinions necessary for setting the direction of the effective 'Goyang City reading culture promotion plan'.

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an action learning-based educational program for domestic nursing students. A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted following PRISMA guidelines. Limited to the period from January 2013 to December 2023, a search conducted across the electronic databases DBpia, RISS, KCI, KISS, and SCIENCE ON identified a total of 779 documents. From these, 13 documents that met the established selection criteria were ultimately included. Thirteen documents meeting the selection criteria were identified, and quality evaluation was independently performed by two researchers using ROBINS-I. The effect size of the action learning-based education program was analyzed using the 'Meta package' in the R program. The effect size for problem-solving was ESr=.68 (95% CI=.30 to 1.06). For communication skills, the effect size was ESr=.39 (95% CI=-.08 to .85), and for critical thinking, the effect size was ESr=.26 (95% CI=.02 to .50). Action learning-based educational programs have been shown to be an effective method for enhancing problem-solving skills and critical thinking among nursing students. Therefore, there is a need for the active implementation of action learning techniques to further develop nursing students' clinical practice capabilities within nursing education.

최근 기업의 환경은 인터넷 및 네트워크의 보급에 의하여 개방화 및 기업간 연계가 중요시되고 있다. 이러한 기업 환경을 구현하기 위해서는 산업 전체의 정보화가 필수적이다. 이러한 정보화 추진은 자본력과 인력을 보유한 대기업에서는 자율적으로 추진되고 있지만, 우리나라 기업의 $99.7\%$를 차지하는 중소기업에서는 적극적인 추진이 어렵다. 따라서, 우리정부에서는 중소기업의 정보화 촉진을 위한 다양한 정책을 제공하고 있다. 중소기업에서의 정보화 추진에는 여러 가지 요인이 있지만, 이 중 가장 중요하게 인식되는 것이 최고경영자의 추진 의지이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 정보화 촉진 방안을 최고경영자의 추진 의지를 향상시키는 관점에서 고찰하였다. 이를 위하여 중소기업의 정보화 촉진을 위한 다양한 방안에 대하여 문헌 조사를 통하여 검토하였다.

This study suggests fire, explosion safety assessment items and risk assessment technique for underground shopping malls by extracting dangerous elements in the management stage through examination of related accidents, documents and present conditions. This will also suggest importance of seven items to be key indices for a counterplan by classifying characteristics and trends of the large scale, depth and complexity of underground shopping malls.

Fine $PbTiO_3$ Particles were synthesized from the $Pb(NO_3)_2$and $TiO(NO_3)_2$ solution by the spray pyrolysis method using the ultrasonic vibrator as a mist generator. The obtained particles were characterized. The mechanisms of particle formation were discussed in comparison with those if other particles, such as $BaTiO_3$, $ZnO_2$, ZnO ....., in the same spray pyrolysis process.
