A Spam Message Filter System for Mobile Environment (휴대폰의 스팸문자메시지 판별 시스템)

  • 휴대폰의 광범위한 보급으로 문자메시지의 사용이 급증하고 있다. 이와 동시에 사용자가 원하지 않는 광고성 스팸문자도 넘쳐나고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 스팸문자메시지를 자동으로 판별하는 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 우리는 기계학습방법인 지지벡터기계(Support Vector Machine)을 사용하여 시스템을 학습하였으며 자질의 선택은 카이제곱 통계량을 이용하였다. 실험결과 F1 척도로 약 95.5%의 정확률을 얻었다

  • 본 논문에서는 아두이노를 이용하고 SMS와 PHP를 기반으로 구축된 인터렉티브 종이비행기 게임시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 본 시스템은 LCD가 설치된 건물과 센서가 부착되어 물체가 들어오면 인식할 수 있는 각기 독립된 4개의 방, 게임 사용자의 문자 메시지를 읽고 출력하는 용도의 프린트와 개인서버로 이루어진다. 설계단계는 PHP를 이용한 웹 서버를 통해 사용자가 보낸 문자 메시지를 읽어 오는 첫 번째 단계, 사용자가 보낸 문자메시지의 내용을 프린트를 통해 출력하는 단계, 출력된 내용의 프린트물이 비행기로 접혀 센서가 부착된 각기 다른 4개의 방으로 들어갔을 때 프린트에 적힌 문자메시지의 내용이 LCD에 출력되는 단계로 이루어진다.

  • Short message service (SMS) is a Popular mobile data service in cellular networks. One SMS message can carry 50 Korean alphabets. Cellular operators standard and develop multimedia message service (MMS) based on P2P as color phones having multimedia solutions such as MIDI, MP3, JPG, PNG, and MPEG have been developed. MMS can be a key cash flow in the non-voice mobile revenue together with SMS. Copyrights protection of contents in a MMS message can be issued as MMS can be the popular P2P service such as MMS. In this paper, we propose MMS DRM system to protect copyrights of contents in MMS with the minimum change of MMS system. The proposed MMS DRM system protect copyrights of contents using DRM Packager, DRM Server, and DRM Agent and support various use cases to activates MMS in mobile networks.

  • By the growing of SMS phishing victims, applications for processing spam messages are being released in succession. However most spam messages that cleverly modified the content like separating the consonants and vowels are fail to be filtered. In this paper, we implemented an application 'AntiSpam' which is able to identify spam strings in the text message to solve this problem. 'AntiSpam' searches spam strings in the text message by using set-based POI search algorithm, and then calculate the possibility of whether it is spam or not in accordance with the search results. In addition, it catches skillfully disguised spam messages in order to avoid missing the spam filtering. Users, who received a message, can check the result in spam message possibility decision result and the contents of the message and they can choose how to handling the message.

  • 본 논문은 최근 가장 이슈화 되고 있는 스미싱 위협의 방지에 대해 다루며, 단순히 스미싱 방지뿐만 아니라 탐지율 향상, 오탐률 감소를 위해 새로운 모델을 제안한다. 첫 번째 모델은 문자메시지 송/수신 시 특정 인증 값을 첨부/확인하여 정상 기관 인증을 수행하는 모델이며, 두 번째 모델은 문자메시지에 첨부된 URL을 사용자가 메시지 수신을 확인하기 전에 사전 검증하여 악성 유무를 판별하는 모델이다. 두 모델의 기본 동작 방식 제안과 설계를 통해 장점과 단점을 언급한다.

  • 본 연구는 휴대전화기의 문자메시지 전송UI가 사용자 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 것이다. 휴대전화기의 문자메시지 전송UI은 한글, 영문, 숫자, 특수문자, 기능키의 조합으로 이루어지고, 연구결과 사용자 만족도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 것은 한글 모음 입력임이 입증되었다. 가장 만족도가 높은 모음 입력방식은 점과 선을 이용하여 모음을 조합하는 방식이며, 짧은 동선과 그로 인한 입력시간 단축이 주요인이었다. 조사방법은 사용자 대상 설문조사를 사용하였고, 연구 방식은 문장을 입력할 때의 각 휴대전화 문자입력 UI의 동선과 버튼을 누르는 횟수를 비교 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다.

Senior' Use of Text Messages and SNS and Contact with Informal Social Network Members (노인의 문자메시지 및 SNS 활용역량과 비공식적 사회관계망과의 접촉에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the associations of Korean older adults' use of Social Network Service (SNS) and text messages with frequency of contact with 1) non-coresident adult children, 2) siblings and relatives, or 3) friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. Data were drawn from the 2017 Survey of Living Conditions and Welfare Needs of Korean Older Persons 65+ (N=8,392), and older adults were categorized into 4 groups depending on their familiarity with use of SNS and text messages. Ordinary Least Squares regression models were estimated for analyses. Results revealed that older users of both types of communication media reported frequent exchanges of calls, text messages, etc. with both family and friends. However, using SNS and text messages was consistently related to more face-to-face contact with non-family members. To conclude, older adults' familiarity with communication media could be key to exchanges of emotional and instrumental support with informal social network members and quality of life in the community. Overall, our results highlight the importance of information communication education targeting older adults for continued involvement with their informal social network members.

  • Mobile phones became important household appliance that cannot be without in our daily lives. And the short messaging service (SMS) in these mobile phones is 1.5 to 2 times more than the voice service. However, the spam filtering functions installed in mobile phones take a method to receive specific number patterns or words and recognize spam messages when those numbers or words are present. However, this method cannot properly filters various types of spam messages currently dispatched. This paper proposes a more powerful and more adaptive spam filtering system using SVM and thesaurus. The system went through a process of isolating words from sample data through pro-processing device and integrating meanings of isolated words using a thesaurus. Then it generated characteristics of integrated words through the chi-square statistics and studied the characteristics. The proposed system is realized in a Window environment and the performance is confirmed through experiments.

  • Various mobile contents have been developed with the spread of cellular phones. Above all things, nowadays, an idle application services are developed through competition in mobile phone manufacturers and mobile communication companies. In this paper, we propose that the idle application with text message service is easy to receive and edit. It is complement to function of SMS in use and can be effective information managing method, for example, it arrays messages and uses diary feature to set permissions when it send and receive standardized text message. We expect that proposed service will be adopted without additional cost in wireless units.
