이 논문은 부산대학교 전자계산학과 인공지능 연구실에서 개발한 정보검색 시스템 "미리내"의 적합성 피드백 방법을 분석하고, 그 방법들의 검색 효율을 비교 분석하였다. "미리내"에서 질의문은 자연언어 질의문을 사용하고 재검색을 위한 적합성 피드백은 원질의문에서 검색된 문서 중 이용자가 직접 선택한 적합 문서에서 추출한다. 적합성 피드백은 크게 단어 확장(Term Expansion)을 위한 단어 선택 방법과 추가될 단어에 가중치를 부여하는 단어 가중치 부여(Term Weighting)의 2가지 요소로 이루어진다. 단어 선택을 위해서는 적합 문서에 나타난 단어 빈도합(tf), 역문헌빈도(idf), 적합 문서 중에서 해당 단어가 있는 적합 문서의 비율(r/R) 등의 정보를 이용한다. 단어 가중치 부여 방법으로는 정규화 또는 코사인 함수를 이용하여 부여하였다. 단어확장에는 tfidf가 tfidf(r/R)보다 정확도 면에서 나은 향상율을 보였으나, 30위 내 검색된 적합문서의 수를 비교해 보았을 때 tfidf(r/R)의 정확도가 높았다. 단어 선택 방법에서 계산된 값을 정규화하여 가중치를 부여하였을 때 보다 코사인 함수를 이용하여 가중치를 부여하였을 때 정확도가 높았다. 실험은 KT-Set 2.0 (4391 건), 동아일보 96 년 신문기사(70459 건)를 대상으로 수행하였다.

This bamboo brush stand was made by attaching two bamboo tubes together, each 80mm in diameter. On the bottom is a "∞-shaped"wood board made of Ailanthus altissima. The surfaces are decorated with exquisite and dynamic designs of a dragon and clouds, and a deer and pine trees. Part of this bamboo brush stand was damaged, lost, or worn down, prior to conservation treatment. After conservation and recovery treatment, its original form was restored. Earth powder, chalk, and gluten mixture were used as materials to fill in the missing parts. After the original form was restored, thin silk fabric was attached to the inner surface of the glued part to prevent cracking. Traditional materials and repair techniques were used to allow for reversal of treatment, if necessary, as seen in the surface of the restored part being made antiquated with lacquer varnish.

본 논문에서는 기호로 둘러싸인 내포문이 포함된 문장의 번역 성능을 높이는 방법을 제안한다. 입력 문장에서 내포문을 추출하여 여러 문장으로 나타내고, 각각의 문장들을 번역한다. 그리고 번역된 문장들을 복원정보를 활용하여 최종 번역 문장을 생성한다. 이러한 방법론은 입력 문장의 길이를 줄여주며, 그로 인하여 문장 구조가 단순해져 번역 품질이 향상된다. 본 논문에서는 한국어-베트남어 통계 기반 번역기에 대하여 제안한 방법론을 적용하고 실험하였다. 그 결과 BLEU 점수가 약 1.5 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

In order to operate trains both mainline railroad platform and metropolitan subway line platform, it is necessary to develop the doorstep equipment of the rolling stock regardless of low(500mm, mainline) and high level platforms(1,135mm, metropolitan subway line) because of the requisite door safety system. In this study, two different types of platforms were examined. On closer examination, it seems that the conceptual design is suitable for telescopic sliding type doorstep equipment to minimize damage to the carbody underframe of railway vehicles and can also minimize the variation of the distance between the railway platform. Furthermore, the operation process and control flowchart of doorstep equipments by stages are proposed by various performance requirements.

The study proposed the algorithm for automatically summarizing the audio information from a video and then conducted an experiment for the evaluation of the audio extraction that was constructed based on the proposed algorithm. The research results showed that first, the recall and precision rates of the proposed method for audio summarization were higher than those of the mechanical method by which audio extraction was constructed based on the sentence location. Second, the proposed method outperformed the mechanical method in summary making tasks, although in the gist recognition task(multiple choice), there is no statistically difference between the proposed and mechanical methods. In addition, the study conducted the participants' satisfaction survey regarding the use of audio extraction for video browsing and also discussed the practical implications of the proposed method in Internet and digital library environments.

This paper proposes a keyword-based query translation system for the semantic web. With the relationship between keywords and ontology structure information, the system converts keyword based queries into queries written by formal query language which is appropriate for the semantic web. As a result, casual web users could not only express queries easily but also obtain the better result.

본 논문에서는 사전자원에 기반한 한국어 워드넷(Open Korean WordNet: KWN)의 반자동 구축 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서는 각 전문분야별로 분류된 영어-한국어 대역사전, 일본어-한국어 대역사전을 이용하여 영어 워드넷(Princeton WordNet 3.0)과 일본어 워드넷(Japanese WordNet 1.1)의 어휘를 번역하였다. 그리고 번역 결과의 애매성을 해소하기 위하여, (1)영어와 일본어에 대한 한국어 대역어의 중복 여부, (2)사전의 분야 정보와 워드넷의 계층구조를 고려하였다. 제안한 방법으로 117,659 개의 워드넷 synset 중 63,221 개(약 54 %)의 synset에 대한 자동번역을 수행하여 한국어 워드넷을 구축하였다. 그리고 워드넷 synset의 정의문은 한국어 사전의 정의문을 참조하여 한글화 할 수 있도록 하고, 이 과정을 지원하기 위한 정의문 추천 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에 기반하여 전문가들이 상호 협력하여 한국어 워드넷을 구축할 수 있는 시스템을 개발한다.

The fire compartments which are composed of fire walls and fire doors for buildings are compulsorily required to minimize the fire damage in Korea. The performance standards of fire doors for compartments are regulated by the notification of the ministry of land, transport and maritime affairs and are mainly about the Integrity of the doors not insulation. In this study, we measured the radiant heat of six different kinds of fire doors in fire and analyzed the results and presented the reasons of the need to consider adding the radiant heat standard for fire doors to the notification.

Personal verification using finger-knuckle-print(FKP) uses lines and creases at the finger-knuckle area, so the orientation information of texture is an important feature. In this paper, we propose an effective FKP verification method which extracts keypoints using SIFT algorithm and matches the keypoints by vector similarity. The vector is defined as a direction vector which connects a keypoint extracted from a query image and a corresponding keypoint extracted from a reference image. Since the direction vector is created by a pair of local keypoints, the direction vector itself represents only a local feature. However, it has an advantage of expanding a local feature to a global feature by comparing the vector similarity among vectors in two images. The experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the previous methods based on orientation codes.
