A New Dimming Algorithms for The Electrodeless Fluorescent Lamp (무전극 형광램프 조광제어를 위한 새로운 알고리즘)

  • The electrodeless lamps using the induction discharge have a long lifetime and a high tolerance for the variable output conditions of a ballast since they don't need the electrodes. This paper proposed two novel dimming algorithms for the Electrodeless lamps and described the resonant inverter adopted the proposed methods. The proposed dimming algorithms are based on the conventional burst dimming method which is normally adopted for LCD back-lights. One of the proposed algorithms is a improved burst dimming method, which controls the illumination by duty ratio of $5\%$ and its control circuit is formed by simple digital logics. The other algorithm is a burst PWM average duty ratio control method, which controls the illumination by duty ratio of $1\%$ and its control circuit is formed by more complex digital logics than the first method. To verify the validity of the proposed dimming methods, a prototype experimental setup for 100W Electrodeless lamps is carried out and its results are presented in this paper.

Manufacturing and Characteristics of the Electrodeless UV Lamp for Disinfection of the Sewage Effluent (하수 방류수 살균소독을 위한 무전극 UV 램프의 제조 및 특성)

  • In this study, we have manufactured electrodeless ultraviolet lamp which has a long life and a high degree of efficiency than the existing electrode UV lamp used in sewage effluent sterilization disinfection. First, we investigated change of UV intensity and temperature of lamp by activation materials. The best results for the dose response experiments were 250 minutes stabilizing to UV intensity of $300{\mu}W/cm^2$ and surface temperature $200{\sim}250^{\circ}C$ in Hg/Ind's weight ratio 95/5. When electrodeless UV lamp emits light for prolonged hours, surface temperature of lamp increases. therefore, temperature change is studied using a duplex lamp for cooling in actual sewerage process. Also, manufactured electrodeless UV lamp showed sterilization efficiency of more than 99.9% as result that experiment manufactured electrodeless UV lamp by E-coli. for sterilization disinfection of sewage effluent.

  • 본 논문에서는 마이크로파로 여기 시켜 방전하는 고출력 무전극 HID 황 램프와 다른 발광 물질의 광학적 특성을 설명하고, 특히 원편파를 이용하여 정지된 램프에서 방전시켜 광학적 특성을 측정하였다. 그리고 순수 황에 특정 화합물을 첨가하여 색도를 조절하여 연색성 지수를 순수 황보다 좋게 할 수 있었다.
