The Effects of Antenna Type and Frequency on Wireless Power Transmission (무선전력전송의 효율에 영향 미치는 안테나 구조와 주파수 효과)

  • Wireless power transmission which can transmit the electrical power through the air is the promise technology. In this paper, the effects of wireless power transmission using magnetic resonance method have been studied on coil material, resonance frequency, and antenna type. We have found copper tube as a coil material had the better characteristics than that of enameled wire, and the optimal resonance frequency was 13.6MHz in the range of from 1MHz to 20MHz. And the double square spiral type antenna as a load coil was the best. The power transmission distance by magnetic resonance method with 13.6MHz was 150 cm.

  • This paper proposes a reliable 2-mode authentication framework for probabilistic key pre-distribution in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) that guarantees the safe defense against different kinds of attacks: Hello flood attacks, Wormhole attacks, Sinkhole attack, location deployment attacks, and Man in the middle attack. The mechanism storing the trust neighbor IDs reduces the dependence on the cluster head and as the result; it saves the power energy for the authentication process as well as provides peer-to-peer communication.

  • Recently, wireless power transfer (WPT) system is widely studied. WPT system is very attractive because it removes power cables from home appliances, office equipment and battery chargers for electric vehicle. However, pickup's posture affects the performance greatly. In this paper a new pickup system whose output voltage is less sensitive to its posture is proposed. The proposed pickup system is composed of three coils perpendicular to each other. A prototype is constructed and tested, and its usefulness is verified.

  • The patient monitoring system is equipment that is taking and displaying vital signals from patient. among the rest, the patient monitoring system for doctor guarantee mobility. So, doctor can use information of patients at any time, in any place. The proposed patient monitoring system to get more mobility, efficiency, and have good function. SMS Protocol in CDMA have profits which is low power, low cost, and low microwave output.

Efficiency and EMF Safety Analysis of Wireless Power Transfer System Using Standard Human Model (표준화된 인체모델을 이용한 공진형 무선전력전송 시스템의 효율 변화 및 인체 안전성 분석)

  • In this paper, resonant wireless power transfer systems are designed with double loop resonant coils for the resonant frequency of 150kHz. The transfer efficiency characteristics is analyzed according to the coil size, and the distance and misalignment between the coils. Then the change in efficiency is investigated when a human model is located between the resonant coils using the homogeneous human phantom of IEC-62311 standard. Also, in order to assess the safety of the wireless power transfer system, the induced current density inside the human model is calculated when it is exposed to the magnetic field of a plane wave and resonant coil. Then, the results are compared with the exposure limits in the EMF (electromagnetic field) safety guidelines.

  • WBAN은 사람이 착용하는 옷이나 인체 내부 혹은 외부에 있는 여러 장치들을 상호 연결하여 통신할 수 있는 근거리 무선통신 기술로서 2005년부터 IEEE 802.15 TG16에서 표준화가 활발히 진행되고 있다. WBAN표준은 근거리, 저전력, 고신뢰성 무선통신을 위한 표준화를 목표로 하고 있으며, 용도에 따라 전송속도가 수 kbps$\sim$수십 Mbps 범위로서 의료용뿐만 아니라 비의료용 분야에 활용된다. 의료용은 체내에 이식되는 이식형과 인체 주변에 부착되는 착용형 장치에 활용되며, 비의료용은 데이터 전달이나 게임 응용 등 다양한 엔터테인먼트 분야에 활용된다. 본 고에서는 IEEE 802.15 TGl6에 제안된 WBAN 응용서비스와 이들 서비스의 요구사항을 분석하고, 일반인이 언제 어디서나 이용 가능한 미래의 헬스케어 서비스를 제공하기 위한 WBAN 구조를 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 데이터 전송용 특정 소출력 무선국용 무선기기의 송수신단의 회로를 설계하고 제작하여 특성을 측정하였다. 주파수 대역은 424.7~424.95MHz이고, 반이중(Half Duplex Communication) 통신방식, PLL Synthesized, 20 Channel, 12.5kHz Channel Bandwidth 그리고 FSK Modulation/Demodulation 방식을 사용하였다. 송신단은 저잡음 증폭기와 전력증폭기를 사용하여 10mW의 출력으로 설계하였고, 발생되는 스퓨리어스를 감쇄시키기 위해 저역통과필터와 공진 회로로 구성하였다. 수신단은 Dual Conversion 방식을 사용하였다. 설계한 결과, 송신단의 출력은 9.71dBm, 스퓨리어스특성 47dBc 그리고 수신단은 감도가 -113dBm에서 Jitter가 $\pm$12.3%로 나타났다.

  • As wireless power transfer (WPT) technology using strongly coupled electromagnetic resonators is a recently explored technique to realize the large power delivery and storage without any cable or wire, this technique is required for diffusion of electric vehicles (EVs) since it makes possible a convenient charging system. Typically, since the normal conducting coils are used as a transmitting coil in the CPT system, there is limited to deliver the large power promptly in the contactless EV charging system. From this reason, we proposed the combination CPT technology with HTS transmitting antenna, In this study, we examined the improvement of transmission efficiency and properties for HTS and copper antennas, respectively, at 30 cm distance. Thus, we obtained improved transfer efficiency with HTS antenna over 10% compared with copper antenna

  • 본 논문에서는 무선전력전송 시스템을 위한 차폐제가 부착된 경우의 평판형 원형 코일의 인덕턴스 계산방법을 제안한다. 페라이트와 도체시트로 구성된 차폐제를 영상법을 이용하여 등가의 영상전류로 모델링하였다. 영상전류에 의해 코일에 쇄교되는 자속을 반영하여 코일의 인덕턴스를 계산하였다. 검증을 위해 Maxwell 2D의 시뮬레이션의 결과와 비교하였다. 계산결과는 시뮬레이션과 정확히 일치하였다.

  • Recent improvement in semiconductor technology make efficient switching possible at higher frequencies, which benefits the application of wireless inductive energy transfer. However, a higher frequency does not alter the magnetic coupling between energy transmitter and receiver. Due to the still weak magnetic coupling between transmitting and receiving sides that are separated by a substantial air gap, energy circulates in the primary transmitting side without being transferred to the secondary receiving side. This paper proposes an analysis on the system efficiency to determine the optimal impedance requirement for coils, rectifier and DC-DC Converter. A novel Boost DC-DC Converter is designed to provide the optimal impedance matching in WPT(Wireless Power Transfer) system for various loads.
