선박 네트워크를 위한 NMEA2000과 정보 보호

  • 최근 건조되고 있는 선박에는 안전 운항을 위하여 엔진제어시스템, 선박자동항법장치, 선박자동식별장치, CCTV 등의 전자장치들이 선박네트워크로 연결되어 있으며, 위성을 통하여 선박의 엔진상태 등의 선박 운항정보를 실시간으로 원격지에서 모니터링 할 수 있다. 선박의 내부와 외부통신 체계는 대체로 폐쇄적인 네트워크로 구성되어 있으나, 선박고유식별번호, 선박명, 선박종류, 항로, 목적항, 입항예정일, 화물종류 등의 선박의 주요 정보를 전송하는 선박자동식별장치는 무선 VHF로 전송되고, 선원은 개인용 컴퓨터를 이용하여 인터넷에 접속이 가능하기 때문에 선박 정보의 해킹 또는 바이러스에 취약해질 수 있다. 컴퓨터 바이러스 또는 해킹 등의 외부 칩입으로 인하여 선박항해시스템의 오류가 발생할 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 선박통합네트워크에서 제어네트워크의 표준화 동향과 정보보호 기술의 필요성에 대하여 기술한다.

  • 무선 주파수를 사용하여 객체를 자동으로 식별하는 전자 태그 기술인 RFID는 최근에 다양한 분야에서 각광을 받고 있다. 논문에서는 RFID의 식별자 기능과 CDMA 기술을 이용한 부재중 방문객 관리 시스템을 개발한다. 시스템은 RFID에 기반하여 부재중 방문객을 식별하고, CDMA를 이용하여 방문객과 피방문객간에 SMS 메시지를 통해서 간접적으로 서로 통신할 수 있게 한다. 시스템은 특징은 방문객과 피방문객이 개인 정보를 노출시키지 않고서 간접적으로 대화를 가능하게 한다는 점이다. 논문에서는 시스템을 설계, 구현하고, 그 실행 예를 보인다.

  • Target detection and tracking wireless sensor network must have various signal processing ability. Wireless sensor nodes need to light weight signal processing algorithm because of energy constraints and communication bandwidth constraints. General signal processing algorithm of wireless sensor node consists of de-noising, received signal strength computation, feature extraction and signal compression. Wireless sensor network life-time and performance of target detection and classification depend on sensor node signal processing. In this paper, we propose energy efficient signal processing algorithm using wavelet transform. The proposed method estimates exact target position.

  • Conventional routing protocols proposed for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) cannot fully accommodate the characteristics of WSNs. In particular, although it is possible to largely obtain benefits in the solution of energy consumption and global identification problems through applying position information, there are few protocols that actively apply such position information. In the case of geographical and energy aware routing (GEAR) that is a typical algorithm, which uses position information, it does not fully represent the characteristics of WSNs because it is limited to forward query messages and assumed as fixed network environments. The routing protocols proposed in this paper defines the direction of data, which is routed based on the position information of individual and target nodes, in which each node configures its next hop based on this direction and routes signals. Because it performs data-centric routing using position information, it does not require certain global identifications in order to verify individual nodes and is able to avoid unnecessary energy consumption due to the forwarding of packets by defining its direction.

  • Appearance of a cloned AP(Access Point) causes MS(Mobile Station) to break an association with a normal AP(Access Point). If signal power of the cloned AP is stronger than that of the normal AP, MS associates with the cloned AP. Therefore, MS is easily exposed to attackers who installed the cloned AP. In this paper, we distinguish cloned AP from normal AP by using the association time and frame sequence number between normal AP and MS, then isolates the cloned AP. The simulation by NS-2 shows that our mechanism isolates efficiently a cloned AP and builds safer wireless LAN environment.

  • These days most of people possesses an average of one to two mobile devices in the world and a wireless network market is gradually expanding. Wi-Fi preference are increasing in accordance with the use growth of mobile devices. A number of areas such as public agencies, health care, education, learning, and content, manufacturing, retail create new values based on Wi-Fi, and the global network is built and provides complex services. However, There exist some attacks and vulnerabilities like wireless radio device identifier vulnerability, illegal use of network resources through the MAC forgery, wireless authentication key cracking, unauthorized AP / devices attack in the next generation radio network environment. In addition, advanced security technology research, such as authentication Advancement and high-speed secure connection is not nearly progress. Therefore, this paper designed a secure communication system for message protection in next-generation wireless network environments by device identification and, designing content classification and storage protocols. The proposed protocol analyzed safeties with respect to the occurring vulnerability and the securities by comparing and analyzing the existing password techniques in the existing wireless network environment. It is slower 0.72 times than existing cypher system, WPA2-PSK, but enforces the stability in security side.

  • RFID system allows contactless identification of objects, where small tags are attached to objects and information of objects are transferred using radio frequency. In recent years, industries have incorporated several identification systems to its production processes, which allow collecting automatically information about goods. In order to communicate with a single tag out of a group of tags, the target tag has to be identified. Therefore the read has to attempt to obtain the unique identification code of each tag within its read range. This paper presents performance results of QT and QT-sl protocols, which are tag identification protocols incorporating memoryless property. The memoryless property is that the current response of each tag only depends on the current query of the reader but not on the past history of the reader's queries.

  • ZigBee based on the most vulnerable part of u-Healthcare system that uses the ZigBee communication is the wireless section. ZigBee communication sectors to identify vulnerabilities in this paper, we propose to compensate. ZigBee has been raised from the existing vulnerabilities organize and ZigBee also uses the 64bit address that uniquely identifies a vulnerability that was defined as exposure. And to prevent the exposure of a unique identifying address was used to address a temporary identification. ZigBee security services, the proposed system during the Network Key for encryption only use one mechanism of Residential Mode is used. Residential Mode on all nodes of the entire network because they use a common key, the key is stolen, your network's security system at a time are at risk of collapse. Therefore, in order to guard against these risks to the security policy Network Key updated periodically depending on the method used to. The proposed evaluation and comparative analysis of the system were exposed in the existing system can hide the address that uniquely identifies a public key Network Key also updated periodically, so that leaks can occur due to reduced risk.

  • IMO and ITU-R have done an intensive study to develop performance standards and technical standards of maritime digital communication systems, respectively. In particular, each administration strives to develop new agenda items of adopting digital new technologies. IMO COMSAR submitted draft performance standard of LRIT to IMO MSC, so that IMO mandates carriage requirement of LRIT In addition to that, COMSAR is preparing performance standard of AIS-SART, and approved the utilization of mobile phones for SAR activities. On the other hand, a new agenda item concerning E-navigation strategy was submitted to MSC 81th meeting. These challenges toward enhanced maritime radio communication systems would make it change largely the concepts of traditional navigation We suggest future directions of maritime information communication systems, investigating the study results of IMO and ITU-R.

  • RFID 시스템은 무선통신기술을 사용하여 직접 접촉하지 않고 RFID 태그 정보를 식별하는 자동식별기술을 말한다. RFID 시스템의 장점 때문에 바코드 대체 기술로서 주목을 받고 있다. 최근에, RFID시스템은 모바일 단말기 안에 내장된 리더를 사용하여 사용자에게 유용한 정보를 제공하는 모바일 시스템으로 확대대고 있다. 모바일 RFID 시스템은 모바일 리더를 사용하여 물품의 정보를 얻는다. 그 다음 얻은 정보를 사용하여 무선이동통신 네트워크에서 사용자에게 다양한 부가 서비스를 제공한다. 모바일 RFID 시스템은 RFID 리더에 이동성을 결합했을 뿐만 아니라, 언제 어디에서나 실생활에 밀접한 물품에 대한 정보를 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 그러나 모바일 RFID 시스템은 정보누출, 추적성, 위조 등과 같은 RFID 시스템의 위협에 취약할 뿐만 아니라 모바일 리더의 이동성에 의해 사용자의 프라이버시가 쉽게 침해된다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 제안된 모바일 RFID 시스템에 관하여 살펴보고 모바일 RFID 시스템에서의 발생하는 추가적인 문제점을 지적한 후에 이에 대한 해결 방안을 제시한다.
