H-pile can be more easily driven than pipe pile by pile driver and shows high skin friction and plugging effect. This experimental study was devoted to investigate skin friction of H group piles in granite soil under laboratory test. Pile arrangements $(1{\times}2,\;1{\times}3,\;2{\times}2,\;2{\times}3,\;3{\times}3)$, pile space (2D,4D,6D), and soil density $(D_r=40%,\;80%)$ were tested. The main results obtained from the model tests can be summarized as follows. Distribution ratio of skin friction for total load decreased by $48{\sim}39%$ (dense soil), $32{sim}27%$ (loose soil) as piles space ratio increases in case of $3{\times}3$ group piles. And the distribution ratio of skin friction by pile settlements under loose soil decreased by about $58{\sim}33.2%$ in $2{\times}2$ group piles and about $65{\sim}38%$ in $3{\times}3$ group piles respectively.

Community analysis based on functional feeding groups of aquatic insects in Wonju stream was assessed with the composition of aquatic insects collected for four times at the area from May to November, 2004. The total 92 species of aquatic insects in 62 genera, 37 families, and 8 orders were collected during the period of the investigation. The distribution of the numbers and movements of aquatic insects proved the Woniu stream to be healthy except for St. 7 and St. 9. In the main streams, the occupancy ratio of shredders and scrapers of the functional feeding groups(FFGs) gradually decreased from St. 1 to St. 9 while collectors-gathering and collectors-filtering remarkably increased. In St. 2, the shredders and scrapers posted a higher ratio compared to those in tributaries, and it had the quality of mountain streams. With the results of analysis on the similarity matrix(UPGMA) between each sites of Wonju stream, St. 1, 2, St. 3-8 and St. 9 were classified as the upper stream, the middle stream, and the lower stream area, respectively.

데이터웨어하우스(Dataware House)가 자료 창고라고 하면 데이터마이닝(Data mining)은 그 창고에 있는 데이터를 가지고 실제 분석을 하는 것이다. 창고에 있는 데이터 자체는 기업에 부가가치를 줄 수는 없다. 이것을 분석하여 유용한 자료가 나와야지 그것을 가지고 행동에 옮겨 기업은 이익을 얻기 때문이다. 예를 들면 아무리 야구에 대한 지식이 머리 속에 많은 감독이라도 고민을 하여 실제 경기에서 응용할 수 있는 작전이 없다면 그 지식은 의미가 없듯이 데이터가 아무리 훌륭하고 많아도 그것을 분석하는 단계에서 문제가 있다면 아무 소용이 없다는 것이다.

우리는 자연계에서 새나 어류가 무리지어서 다니는 특이한 모습을 볼 수 있다. 본 논문을 복수 에이전트 모빌 로봇을 이용하여 이들이 효율적인 전략적 규칙으로부터 이런 복잡한 행동의 결과를 나타낼 수 있음을 보여준다. 모의 실험된 무리는 분산된 행동 모델로 구현되었으며 각각의 모빌 로봇간의 상대적으로 단순한 상호작용의 결과이다. 또한 여기서 모의 실험된 각각의 모빌 로봇은 동적인 환경을 감지함에 따라 움직이는 독립된 개체로서 자신의 움직임을 결정한다.

This paper aims to consider the genesis of irrational numbers and to suggest a method for teaching the concept of irrational numbers. It is the notion of “incommensurability” in geometrical sense that makes Pythagoreans discover irrational numbers. According to the historica-genetic principle, the teaching method suggested in this paper is based on the very concept, incommensurability which the school mathematics lacks. The basic ideas are induced from Clairaut's and Arcavi's.
