  • In this paper the stress intensity factor under uniform pressure in the arbitrarily-shaped plane crack configuration transformed elliptic crack by Mobius mapping are determined. Using Dysons formula Boussinesq-Papkovich potentials for mode I deformation are constructed. In the example the stress intensity factors are approximately calculated by least square method.

  • Moebius' L,INCAL Analysis of 'self' and 'self-consciousness' in philosophic viewpoint. In this research, I studies and analyzed Mobius' L,INCAL who had affected revitalization of Europe and America's genre cartoon and graphic novel. Among the L,INCAL. I selected some parts which are related to 'self' and 'self-consciousness' of 융(Jung), 라캉(Lacan), chaos theory Because it is too extensive for me to do this. Cartoons filled with philosophy is likely to have a possibility to be seen by adults. The goal of this study is to make a coner stone which all the classes can enjoy various cultures with.

  • Restricted Hypercube-Like (RHL) graphs are a graph class that widely includes useful interconnection networks such as crossed cube, Mobius cube, Mcube, twisted cube, locally twisted cube, multiply twisted cube, and generalized twisted cube. In this paper, we show that for an m-dimensional RHL graph G, $m{\geq}4$, with an arbitrary faulty edge set $F{\subset}E(G)$, ${\mid}F{\mid}{\leq}m-2$, graph $G{\setminus}F$ has a hamiltonian path between any distinct two nodes s and t if dist(s, V(F))${\neq}1$ or dist(t, V(F))${\neq}1$. Graph $G{\setminus}F$ is the graph G whose faulty edges are removed. Set V(F) is the end vertex set of the edges in F and dist(v, V(F)) is the minimum distance between vertex v and the vertices in V(F).

  • Until the 1950s, linear algebra was considered only as one of abstract and advanced mathematics subject among in graduate mathematics courses, mainly dealing with module in algebra. Since the 1960s, it has been a main subject in undergraduate mathematics education because matrices has been used all over. In Korea, it was considered as a course only for mathematics major students until 1980s. However, now it is a subject for all undergraduate students including natural science, engineering, social science since 1990s. In this paper, we investigate the early history of linear algebra and its development from a historical perspective and mathematicians who made contributions. Secondly, we explain why linear algebra became so popular in college mathematics education in the late 20th century. Contributions of Chinese and H. Grassmann will be extensively examined with many newly discovered facts.

  • Based on the theory that formation of Korean Men's Traditional Trousers is related to Mobius strip, this study researches correlation between distinctive construction of Korean Men's Traditional Trousers and historical background based on old documents and restoration. Distinctive construction of Korean Men's Traditional Trousers are as follows. First, Korean Men's Traditional Trousers is manufactured just like Principle of Mobius strip that the square is twisted once, considering its materials' conditions. Second, Korean Men's Traditional Trousers, manufactured larger, feature cubic effect and twisted formative beauty because its waist and ankle parts are tightened with bands. Third, Korean Men's Traditional Trousers, composed of big Sapok and small Sapok in oblique, are suitable for active play due to its high functionality.

  • Objectives: To review the concept of Moebius syndrome. Methods: Literature search was done to study definition, epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical feature, and treatment of Moebius syndrome. Pubmed, RISS, Google scholarship and uptodate scholastic were used in the research. Search words were 'Moebius syndrome', 'treatment of Moebius syndrome'. Only English and Korean studies were assessed. Results: Moebius syndrome is rare disease characterized by nonprogressive congenital uni- or bi-lateral facial (VII cranial nerve) and abducens (VI cranial nerve) palsy. This facial palsy is found across the world, and its incidence is approximately 1 per 250,000. Moebius is diagnosed by clinical features. Facial palsy, eye abduction problem, limb deformities, global cerebral nerve impairment can be shown. Rehabilitation, smile surgery, and acupuncture can be used to treat this. Conclusion: Moebius syndrome's epidemiology, pathogenesis, treatment is still not fully revealed. It is known to be a congenital disease which didn't have exact treatment except surgery. But, it needs further study about exact treatment, diagnosis, and pathogenesis.

  • Minimization techniques are adaptations of Helical structure, Meta material, multi-layer structure etc. But, Helical structure is not suited to minimization technique of RF circuit having single resonant frequency. Because it generate resonant frequency following as rotation of circumference. Meta material and multi layer structure have weakness of expenditure and complex structure. In addition, conventional three dimensional M$\ddot{o}$bius Strip and planar M$\ddot{o}$bius Strip are not two dimensional planar M$\ddot{o}$bius Strip that has weakness of electrical coupling effect. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed miniaturized and reduced electrical coupling effect antenna by adaptation of Quasi M$\ddot{o}$bius Strip that topology is same as three dimensional M$\ddot{o}$bius Strip with Via-Hole structure. According to the simulation result, physical circumferential length is 1/3 minimized compared with conventional ring antenna under the same resonant frequency. In addition, coupling effect is not nearly generates near to the resonant frequency, 2.4GHz.

  • STEM Education in the US and Korean STEAM are reviewed. The present STEM education focuses on K-12 and it does not concern STEM education in university. In this paper, we define a STEM education that can be made available in university and we establish a way of teaching and learning differential equations based on the STEM education. The class provides students with a chance to explore the capstone design projects that are developed by seniors and do hands-on activities. We introduce and set a Mobius strip with an instant delivery pathway to solve real problems as a symbol of STEM education.
