'Goal Model' is core knowledge of 'Autonomic Control System' suggested to minimize human interference in system management. 'Autonomic Control System' performs 'Monitoring-Analysis-Plan-Execution', that is the four step of 'Autonomic Control', based on 'Goal Model'. Therefore, it is necessary to quantify achievement ratio of 'Goal Model' of target system. Thus, this paper present 'Probabilistic Evaluation of Goal Model' for methodology how to quantify achievement ratio of 'Goal Model'. It comprises 3-steps including 'Goal modeling and weighting', 'Goal model monitoring', 'Goal model evaluation and analysis'. Through these research, we provide core knowledge for 'Autonomic Control system' and it is possible to increase the reliability of system by evaluating 'Goal model' with applying weight. As case study, we apply 'Goal model' to a 'Smart IoT Kit' and we demonstrate the validity of the suggested research.
This study aims to develop the trustworthiness model for public digital records, as an admissibility framework for establishing trust. The trustworthiness model is deemed to used to identify the qualities of the digital records in their lifecycle, including the identity that could be identified at the time of the creation, integrity obtained from the chain-of-custodial management, the evidence of relationship between business activities and records, and the technical or cognitive accessibility. Based on the analysis of the QADEP model, it was decided to develop a model that could measure the trustworthiness of public digital records in the external measurement type, which are authenticity, reliability, and usability. In line with this direction, the model expanded measurement areas and indicators of the QADEP model through the analysis of ISO 16175-1:2020, and measuring metrics was also proposed so that it could be a measuring instrument for public digital records in Korea, after analysing NAK 19-3. It would be useful to expand the model and to test the approach of the trustworthiness model for public digital records.

The application of the reliability analysis is investigated as a probabilistic approach to the assessment of ship's structural strength and to the establishment of design format for longitudinal strength. Reliability analyses are carried out for 34 ships of tankers and bulk carriers built in HHI for some failure modes such as tensile yielding, compressive buckling and ultimate strength of hull girder. The safety assessment of each ship, the calculation of sensitivity factors and the derivation of target reliability index are performed. As results. the difference of reliability indices among ships is great for all modes. To provide more uniform levels of safety the establishment of new strength criteria using partial safety factors is performed. The partial safety factors for the design format are obtained according to the AFOSM method and the reliability-conditioned(RC) method. Finally, a design format using partial safety factors has been proposed. We could find out that new strength criteria can produce consistent reliability indices which are close to the target value.

Reliability growth analysis was conducted for a guided weapons system. In the development phase, reliability management activities were continuously carried out by identifying failure modes and causes and analyzing faults found during the testing. The missile system consists of an all-up-round missile and a launcher, and the analysis was carried out according to the test results of each system. The test results for the all-up-round missile were obtained with discrete data, which were success and failure as a one-shot-device. The test results for the launcher were obtained with continuous data by operating the equipment continuously in the test. For each test result, the reliability growth model was applied to the Standard Gompertz model and the Crow-Extended model. The models were used to identify the growth analysis results of the test so far. It was also possible to predict the reliability growth results by assuming the future test results. The study results could be useful in achieving the desired reliability goal and in determining the number of tests. Then, the planned test will be confirmed and the growth analysis of the missile system will continuously be conducted.
Peptide identification in tandem mass spectrometry is usually done by searching the spectra against target databases consisting of reference protein sequences. To control false discovery rates for high-confidence peptide identification, spectra are also searched against decoy databases constructed by permuting reference protein sequences. In this case, a peptide of the same sequence could be included in both the target and the decoy databases or multiple entries of a same peptide could exist in the decoy database. These phenomena make the protein identification problem complicated. Thus, it is important to minimize the number of such redundant peptides for accurate protein identification. In this regard, we examined two popular methods for decoy database generation: 'pseudo-shuffling' and 'pseudo-reversing'. We experimented with target databases of varying sizes and investigated the effect of the maximum number of missed cleavage sites allowed in a peptide (MC), which is one of the parameters for target and decoy database generation. In our experiments, the level of redundancy in decoy databases was proportional to the target database size and the value of MC, due to the increase in the number of short peptides (7 to 10 AA). Moreover, 'pseudo-reversing' always generated decoy databases with lower levels of redundancy compared to 'pseudo-shuffling'.
Still no accurate theory exists for predicting ultimate shear strength of deep reinforced concrete beams because of the structural and material non-linearity after cracking. Currently, the load capacity assesment is performed for the upper structure of the bridges and containing non-reliability in the applications and results. The purpose in this study is to evaluate analytically the complex shear behaviors and normal strength for the reinforced concrete deep beams and to offer the accuracy load capacity assesment method based on the reliability theories. This paper presents a method for the load capacity assesment of reinforcement concrete deep beams using nonlinear finite element analysis. A computer program named RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), for the analysis of reinforced concrete structures was used. Material non-linearity is taken Into account by comprising tensile, compressive and shear models of cracked concrete and a model of reinforcing steel. From the results, determine the reliability index for the failure base on the Euro Code. Then, calculate additional reduction coefficient to satisfy the goals from the reliability analysis. The proposed numerical method for the load capacity assesment of reinforced concrete deep beams is verified by comparison with the others methods.
