지식검색은 방대한 지식정보 데이터를 바탕으로 사용자의 질문에 대한 답변을 검색하는 시스템이다. 이러한 사용자 참여로 구축된 지식정보는 잘못된 답변으로 인한 신뢰성 부족과 중복 답변 등의 문제점이 있어, 원하는 답변을 찾기 위해서는 지식검색에서 다수의 답변을 읽고 그 답변의 진위여부를 판단해야만 한다. 만일 정답에 포함되는 단어나 어구가 답변들에서 나타내는 통계적 특성을 활용하여 사용자가 원하는 답변을 제시할 수 있다면, 지식검색의 효용성과 신뢰성이 크게 향상될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지식정보 데이터 분석을 통해 사용자의 질문의 유형을 단어, 목록, 도표, 글의 4가지 유형으로 분류하고, 각 분류에 대한 사용자 질의어의 답변을 요약하는 방식을 제안한다. 단어, 목록, 글 유형은 TF와 IDF, 어휘 간의 거리 정보를 통해서 중요 단어를 추출하여 각 유형에 적합한 형식의 답변을 사용자에게 제시한다. 도표형은 답변들에서 사용자의 의견 정보를 추출하여 의견 통계를 도표로서 제시한다.

This study shows the design and implementation of cataloging expert system using pattern recognition techniques. This system attemps to demonstrate the feasibility of cataloging in KORMARC format from title page and copyright page without the intervention of humans. The prototype was implemented as a rule-based system in Turbo C. To demonstrate the function and capability of the system, experimental document-group and control document-group was analyzed. The hit ratio of experimental document-group is 94%. On the other hand, the hit ratio of control document-group is 93%, a little bit lower than the experimental group.

The purpose of this study was to describe preschoolers' perceptions of fear from their own perspective. Qualitative data from 213 preschoolers 4 to 6 years of age were obtained by semi-structured interviews. The fear inventory was analyzed by content analysis and frequency. The most common fears of preschoolers in this study were fear of ferocious animals and imaginary figures, such as tigers, lions, snakes, spirits and ghosts. Fear of ghosts was the primary fear of both boys and girls. Results showed that most fears were caused by disgust-related visual images. Worry about injury and pain was another common pathway to fear. At-risk preschoolers scored significantly higher than normal preschoolers on fears of criticism and getting an injection.

Work is a bibliographic entity serving a key role for the collocation function of catalog. This study analyzed the concept of work, provided a new device to complement conventional FRBR work. The 'prototype' was suggested to enhance the collocation function of catalog, the highest level in FRBR. This study explained the definition, attributes of prototype, and relationships between prototype and work within FRBR model.

IFLA는 개체-관계모형을 기반으로 하여 서지레코드가 수행해야 할 기능에 관한 '서지레코드의 기능상 요건에 관한 모형'(Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records: FRBR Model)을 발표하였다. 본 연구에서는 FRBR 모형의 비평적 분석을 통하여 새로운 목록규칙에 대한 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

본 연구는 TEI를 기반으로 한 전자문헌의 서지정보를 수록한 TEI Independent Header를 MARC으로 변환시켜 주기 위하여 전자문헌의 인코딩, 인코딩언어인 SGML, 인코딩 포맷인 TEI를 연구하였다. 나아가 TEI를 기반으로 한 전자문헌의 자동 목록작성의 가능성을 살펴보기 위하여 TEI Independent Header와 MARC을 비교분석하였다.

대부분의 정보검색 과정들은 웹 페이지의 분석에 따라 검색 로봇을 이용한 검색기법, 카테고리를 이용한 색인 DB를 검색기법, 메타 태그를 이용한 검색기법을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 기법을 통하여 원하는 정보를 얻을 경우 정확도가 떨어지는 정보가 검색되어 사용자는 다시 한번 검색된 목록들을 확인해야 하는 경우가 발생한다. 본 논문은 다양한 형태의 웹 페이지에 대하여 바이오 인포메틱스 기술을 적용하여 분석, 사용자에게 필요로 하는 정보를 보다 정확하게 제공하는 기법을 제안한다.
