A Study on a Model for Assuring Course Completion Structure of Project Courses (프로젝트 교과목의 이수체계 준수 모델에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents an approach for assuring course completion structure of the project courses by the requirements of KCC2010 engineering criteria. The proposed approach describes the way that courses of project are completed in a systematic using the gate model that is given the opportunity to take next project course by the course outcomes of project course taken. Results of assessments on 'Software Project I' course shows that it is important to protect the withdrawal of student who undergo retraining by efforts of professor course responsible to assure course completion structure of the project courses.

  • 체형은 남녀에 따라, 연령에 따라, 또 인종이나 시대에 따라 현저한 차이를 나타낸다. 특히, 인체의 목부위,허리둘레 등 연령에 따라 그 형태의 특징이 크게 변화해가는 부위들이 있으며, 이들 부위별 형태변화에 대한 연구는 전반적 체형연구와 함께 그 중요성이 크게 대두되어지고 있다. 이에 본연구에서는, 남성복의 드레스셔츠 설계에 가장 중요한 이체 부위인 목부위를 중심으로 연령 별 형태 변화를 측정하고자 하였으며, 측정은 슬라이딩 게이지법을 이용하여 목.어깨부위의 수직. 수평단면을 채취하였다. 또한 피험자를 20대 청년층, 40대 중년층, 60대 노년층의 세집단을 대상 으로 하므로서 목부위 단면형태에 대한 연령별 변화의 범위를 추측, 가령에 따른 변화의 상태를 생체학적으로 해석하고자 하였다.

Analysis of the Current Status of Weeding Operation and Crop Tree Growth Across Planting Periods (전국 풀베기사업 현황분석 및 연차별 조림목 생장 연구)

  • Weeding refers to the process of removing weeds around crop trees, which cause competition in nutrients, moisture, and light, and has a great effect on the early growth and survival of crop trees for establishing forest resources. This study was conducted to find out the timing and method of weeding that is the most suitable for the major afforestation species in national forests. We investigated (1) weeding time and frequency for each afforestation species and (2) the height of crop trees and the length of weeds. Up to 99% weeding operation was carried out until 5 years following afforestation. Pinus densiflora, Larix kaempferi, Chamaecyparis obtusa, Prunus sargentii, and Betula platyphylla plantations accounted for more than 70% of the total weeding sites. Once-a-year weeding process was conducted from late June to late July (67%), and twice-a-year weeding process was the highest in June-August by 31%. Most species were shorter than the weeds until the first and second year of planting, but the height of the crop trees was higher than that of the weeds by 48% in average from the third year. Therefore, from the third year of afforestation, except for some species, it is possible to reduce the cost of weeding operations while reducing nutrient competition by the weeds through the removal of weed sprouts, mainly woody weeds, rather than clear cutting. This study contributes to efficiently develop forest resource establishment while reducing operational costs through a detailed weeding schedule and species-specific method.

A Case Study of Applying Flipped Learning and Team-based Learning in University Subject, Business Communication (경영학 수업에서 학습자 중심 교수법 적용 사례 -비즈니스 커뮤니케이션을 중심으로)

  • This study provided implications for applying learner-centered teaching methods in the field of management education by adopting flipped learning and team-based learning to Business Communication classes and operating the classes according to its characteristics. Business communication capability, especially related to drawing up a document or a written report, is considered one of the crucial factors for making individuals valuable in an organization. For the identification of the subject outputs, a total of 64 students from the first and second semesters in 2018 were sampled, and the Wilcoxon signed rank test and paired t-tests were carried out. The results show that all types of communication capabilities have significantly increased at the end of each of the semesters. Also, the overall satisfaction level proved to be higher at the end rather than at the beginning of each semester. This study is especially meaningful because the results suggest concrete ways to apply learner-centered teaching methods for business education.

Effects of Cervical Spinal Stabilization Training in Private Security on Chronic Neck Pain and Cervical Function, Neck Pain, ROM (경부안정화 운동이 민간 경비원의 목통증, 경부장애지수, 관절가동범위에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of using cervical spinal stabilization exercise for the improvement of pain intensity, cervical range of motion, neck disability index, reposition sense, muscle tenderness with chronic neck pain in private security. For 21 patients diagnosed with chronic cervical pain and divided into cervical spinal stabilization exercise group and postural correction exercise group. Each exercise was conducted for 8 weeks. Pain and neck disability index were measured before and after exercise using the visual analogue scale(VAS) and the neck disability index(NDI). Range of motion were measured electronic goniometer, muscle tenderness of upper trapezius ad sternocleidomatoid were measured algometer, reposition sense were measured reposition panel before and after exercise. After 8 weeks of exercise, the cervical stabilization exercise group pain and neck disability were significantly decreased(p<0.05). Also there was significant difference in both group(p<0.05). In addition, range of motion, muscle tenderness reduce rate, reposition sense were significantly increase as compared to the pre-post exercise in cervical stabilization exercise group(p<0.05). But there was no significantly difference in postural correction group before and after exercise(p>0.05). And there was significantly increase more cervical stabilization exercise group than postural correction exercise group in range of motion, muscle tenderness reduce, reposition sense. In summary, cervical spinal stabilization exercise is more effective in improving cervical range of motion, muscle pain, reposition sense in private security on chronic cervical pain patients, in reducing patients' pain and disability. It is an effective treatment to aid rehabilitation in these cases.

  • An 'Introduction to Creative Engineering Design' course at College of Engineering at Chungnam National University is required for all freshmen. The objective of this course is to educate the freshmen with basic engineering design concepts and experiences in creative problem-solving approaches. It provides the students learning opportunities in solving engineering design problems through team efforts and creative approaches. Thus, this course emphasizes creative ideas and thinking, engineering design experiences to students over the course. This study presents the syllabus, the examples of PBL (problem based learning)-related activities as a team, and the results of the course evaluation and outcomes. Based on the results of this study, we can conclude that overall this course using PBL method had significant positive effects on the course outcomes and the creativity of the engineering freshmen in the department of environmental engineering at Chungnam National University. However, there are still efforts to be needed to improve the PBL-related activities in the course, including students' workload, financial supports, and team work.

  • 본 논문에서는 예비 정보교사들이 학교 현장의 문제점을 고민하고, 그에 대한 아이디어를 학생 주도적으로 고안해나갈 수 있도록 하는 캡스톤 디자인 강의의 개발에 대해 논한다. 본 논문은 기초연구로서 캡스톤 디자인 교과목의 개발 과정 및 단계를 설계하고, 교과목 개발의 바탕이 되는 정보교사의 역량에 대하여 고찰하였다. 후속 연구로서 본 논문에서 선정한 정보교사의 역량을 바탕으로 학습자의 요구분석을 실시하고 실제 캡스톤 디자인 교과목을 개발하여 예비 정보교사들을 대상으로 캡스톤 디자인 강의를 실시할 것이다.

Variation of the Drag Force Acting on Vegetation Model Elements (식생 모형 요소를 이용한 항력 변화 검토)

  • 식생의 물리적 특성에 따라 조도의 관점에서 식생이 흐름에 미치는 영향도 많이 달라지게 된다. 일반적인 식생 조도 실험은 초본류를 대상으로 하고 있지만, 초본류 식생은 매우 유연하기 때문에 단일 개채가 흐름에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 파악하는 것이 매우 힘들다. 따라서 단일 개체에 의한 조도 특성 보다는 식생군에 의한 조도계수 변화 특성을 알아내는 것이 보통 중요해진다. 하지만 조도의 관점에서 초본류와 달리 목본류는 삭생의 강성이 매우 크기 때문에 식생군의 군집으로서 특징보다는 개별 식생의 형상이 큰 역할을 수행하게 된다. 일반적으로 목본류는 수심에 따라 흐름에 영향을 주는 생체량(biosmass)이 수심에 따라 변화하지만, 줄기(trunk)의 경우 수심에 따라 생체량의 변화가 거의 없으며, 줄기의 강성 및 단면 모양이 큰 역할을 하게 된다. 또한 목본류는 실험 수로에 고밀도의 수목군을 형성하여 실험을 수행하는 것이 쉽지 않으므로 개별 식생이나 소규모 군체에 대하여 항력을 측정하여 조도를 평가하는 것이 일반적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 목본류의 줄기 부분이 흐름에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 기초 연구로서 원기둥이나 사각기둥과 같은 식생 모형 요소를 이용하여 식생 줄기를 구현하였고, 식생 형상 및 식생 직경 등을 달리하여 침수 조건 변화에 따른 항력 변화 특성을 검토하였다.

Estimating Armington Substitution Elasticity between Domestic and Imported Wood Products in Korea (목제품 시장에서 국산품과 수입품의 아밍턴 대체 탄성치 추정)

  • This paper assesses the tariff reduction on imported wood products that will have impact on the demand for domestic wood products in South Korea, by estimating the Armington substitution elasticities based on the assumption that they are imperfect substitutes. Results indicate that domestic and foreign wood products are far from perfect substitutes to each other. The substitution elasticities in plywood and fiberboard appeared to be high, implying that tariff reduction may have negative effects on those industries. On the contrary, imported and domestic particleboard showed a low substitution elasticity. The decline of fiberboard industry may lead to the decline in forestry since fiberboard is produced mainly by thinned woods supplied from domestic forests. Therefore, effective countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of wood products industry are needed to cope with the market opening.
