This study is to explain understanding types about the concept of a 'Region' in the 3rd grade high school students(39) through open-ended questionnaires and describe the pedagogical utilizations for this. Students' understanding types about the concept of a 'Region' are compared and then determined through two meaning agreement and association between meaning of students' understanding which is collected through open-ended questionnaires and meaning of a 'Region' which is described in high school curriculum. The results are as in the following. First, Students' understanding types about the concept of a 'Region' were divided into four categories: full, partial, ambiguous, and converted understanding. Second, The degree of right meaning agreement and association existing between two meanings is rising steadily by converted, ambiguous, partial, and full understanding. For this reason, This result can make sure the understanding degree about the concept of a 'Region' is different depending on the students. Third, Students' partial understanding, ambiguous understanding and converted understanding on region concept could be judged as misconception not fully corresponded to region concept in the curriculum explanation. Fourth, Teachers can achieve conceptual change through this misconception as a subject matter of educational dialogue for meaning change.

I will propose the radical indeterminacy for solving the higher-order vagueness' dilemma. The radical indeterminacy means that the indeterminacy of 'a is P' implies the indeterminacy of 'a is a borderline case of P.' I will compose my argument two steps: first I will suggest conditions for overcoming the dilemma by analyzing its structure and second I will offer the radical indeterminacy that satisfies aforementioned conditions. I think the higher-order vagueness' dilemma occurs owing to the misunderstanding about the unclarity or the indeterminacy of borderline cases that is an basic intuition of vagueness. So conditions for solving the dilemma are also criteria of adequacy on the theory of vagueness. Thus I will propose II-rule that satisfies above conditions and the radical indeterminacy as a new understanding about vagueness.

표현 기법, 특히 산업 디자인 전공에서 진행되고 있는 아이디어 스케치 단계 및 렌더링 테크닉에 있어서 흔히 광원(LIGHT SOURCE)의 개념에 대한 정확한 이해가 부족한 경우를 대하게 된다. 주로 제품 디자인이나 운송디자인에 있어서 마커와 파스텔을 사용하여 자신의 아이디어를 시각적으로 구체화시키게 되는데, 이 과정에서 면의 흐름이나 변화를 일관성 있는 가상적 광원의 설정에 따라 정리해나가지 않으면 결과적으로 대단히 애매하고 모호한 스케치나 렌더링이 될 수밖에 없다. 간결하고 정확한 디자인 프리젠테이션을 위해서는 시각적으로 쉽게 이해가 되는 표현기법을 디자이너가 적절하게 구사해야 하는 것이다. 그러면 본격적으로 제품과 자동차디자인 스케치 과정에서 적용되는 본인이 이론을 설명하기로 한다.

In this paper, I attempted to show that 'Sorensen's Sorites' is not a successful argument for the vagueness of 'vague'. There are a lot of debates about it, but the central issue is whether Sorensen's Sorites is just small sorites; whether the vagueness certified by Sorensen's Sorites is just the vagueness of 'small'. Deas and Hull thought it was and rejected Sorensen's proof based on his sorites. But their rejection was rebutted by Varzi. The basis of his argument is that the subject of Sorensen's sentences - 'n-small' is vague - is not used but mentioned. I tried to reply on behalf of Deas and Hull and to show that the predicate 'vague' has not any effect on determining the truth value of "'n-small' is vague." Then it can be removed from the sentence. Of course I approve 'vague' is a homological term. What I do not agree with is only Sorensen's argument.

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships among information search activities, of which perceived risk, cognitive dissonance, and involvement play a role. A survey of 155 students who have a recent experience on information search activities. Total six hypotheses the research already reported on information search effort, thereby giving decision maker a richer understanding of information search behavior.

Since comprehensive examination of flexible pavement is complex, evaluation of its condition has been based on subjective judgements. Especially, qualitative measure of pavement has been based on linguistic expressions which often cause misinterpretation. There has been no such a criterion that can appropiately assess pavement status. Therefore, this study was devised to develop an approach, using fuzzy set concept, for evaluation of current and expected service conditions of flexibel pavement surface course. An example study was conducted to verify its usefulness. Since arithematic operation of fuzzy set can quantify the linguistic values and translate them into illustrative models, the results shown in the example was easy for anyone to understand.

로봇의 활동 영역이 산업 현장에서 인간의 일상 생활 공간으로 확장됨에 따라서, 로봇은 사용자가 사용하는 성능 좋은 도구 개념에서 벗어나 일상 생활을 공유하며 살아가는 파트너로 생각되기 시작했다. 이에 따라서 미리 정해진 명령과 조작 방법을 통한 단순한 상호작용만이 일어나던 과거와 달리, 사용자는 마치 사람을 대하듯 자연스럽게 로봇과 상호작용하기를 기대하게 되었다. 사람들은 본래 context를 활용하여 모호한 표현을 하더라도 상호작용이 가능하기 때문에, 사용자의 발화가 자유롭게 이루어지면 로봇이 처한 상황적 모호성은 가중될 수 밖에 없다. 이러한 문제에 직면하여, 스크립트 기반의 인간-로봇 상호작용을 통한 문제 해결 노력이 그 돌파구가 될 것으로 기대된다. 본 논문은 이러한 노력의 일환으로, 태스크 수행중인 로봇에 자유롭게 사용자가 개입하는 상황을 처리하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 사용자가 개입하는 상황을 어떻게 이해할 것이며, 로봇은 어떤 전략으로 이에 대처해야 하는지 분석한 뒤, 사용자 개입에 대한 구체적인 처리 프로세스를 제시한다. 그리고 제시된 프로세스를 구현해 봄으로써 그 효용성을 검증한다.

엔터티는 데이터 모델링에서 가장 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 엔터티를 우리말로는 '실체(實體)'라고 번역하고 있다. 말 그대로 '실질적으로 육체를 가지고 있는 것'을 의미한다. 만약 이 실체가 모호하다면 그 다음 과정이 아무리 완벽하다고 하더라도 모델링은 전체가 모호한 모습일 수밖에 없다. 이 논문에서는 엔터티를 보다 쉽게 도출하고 전략적인 판단을 해 가는 구체적인 단계와 객관적인 판단의 근거를 매우 상세하게 설명할 것이다. 엔터티는 매우 명확하게 표현해야 한다. 이처럼 데이터 모델링에서는 실체 집합인 '엔터티'를 정확하게 도출할 수 있는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 잘못된 실체를 가지고 아무리 집을 지어본들 그것은 단지 사상누각에 불과 하다. 본 연구에서는 데이터베이스 엔터티 각 각의 표현 방법에 대해서 연구함으로써, 데이터 모델을 보다 정밀하게 표현할 수 있고, 남들이 모델을 좀 더 정확하게 이해하는데 기여할 수 있다.

Smart grid, which is a sort of convergence of numerous technologies, can be deployed only with cooperation and fair competition among various stakeholders. If the interest conflicts were not coordinated properly, related business and investment would become delayed and inactive. Therefore, this study analyzes the causes of interest conflicts and related issues in smart grid sector and suggests policy directions by issue. As the result of AHP analysis, the majority of respondents surveyed said that ambiguity of the role and authority is the key problem causing conflicts of interest in smart grid deployment process. Differences in values, communications problems, etc. are pointed as additional main reasons of the interest conflicts. To resolve interest conflicts in smart grids, the Korean government should enhance its leadership in the coordination of stakeholders' interests. Government should make efforts to coordinate the various interests in terms of the development of the smart grid market and win stakeholders' sympathy of their desirable roles in the smart grid market.

감정은 상당히 애매 모호하고 불명확하며 상대방의 감정을 이해하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 Plutchik의 감정 모델을 기호 다치 논리 함수의 미분을 이용하여 감정의 변화과정을 추론하는 방법을 제안한다.
