Experimental Verification of Sag Sensitivities using Catenary Model for PPWS Configuration Control in a Suspension Bridge (모형 현수선을 이용한 현수교 PPWS 형상관리를 위한 새그민감도의 실험적 검증)

  • PPWS, a large number of which a main cable of a suspension bridge consists of, must be precisely erected at a target location under construction considering the differences among design conditions. The absolute sag is measured for several PPWSs, which are reference strands and the relative sag is surveyed from them to other PPWSs, which are divided into several groups. And the adjustment of PPWS length is performed to erect it at target configuration. When PPWS is being under erection in a real bridge site, the procedures are as follows; evaluate sag sensitivities according to sag variation factors, calculate an adjustment length of PPWS corresponding to them and adjust a sag of PPWS by controlling the calculated amount of PPWS length. In this study, the differential-related equations of sag sensitivity were proposed for support movement of PPWS. Before site demonstration study of a series of them, we established a catenary model system and accomplished verification tests of them. From test results, the validation of them was done.

  • 과부하 맨홀의 손실계수에 대한 연구는 국내외에서 지속적으로 수행되어 왔다. 그러나 실제 하수관거 설계 및 평가에 이러한 손실계수의 적용여부에 따른 맨홀의 흐름변화에 대한 연구는 이루어진바 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실무에서 하수관거 설계 및 평가 시 가장 많이 사용되는 상용프로그램 SWMM 모형을 활용하여 손실계수 적용 여부에 따른 맨홀의 수두변화를 비교 하였다. 손실계수의 영향을 확인하기 위해 가상유역을 설정하였으며, 이때 가상유역 내에는 4개의 합류맨홀을 포함하고 있고, 그 외 맨홀은 중간 맨홀 및 $90^{\circ}$ 접합맨홀로 이루어져 있다. 손실계수는 윤세의 등(2008, 2009, 2010)이 제시한 값을 적용하였다. 과부하 맨홀에 손실계수를 적용한 결과 맨홀 내 수심은 증가하였고 동수경사선이 높아짐으로써 손실계수 적용 후 침수가 발생하는 맨홀도 나타났다. 따라서 도시유역의 하수관거 평가 시 맨홀에 과부하가 발생하는 경우에는 손실계수를 적용 후 평가가 이루어져야 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 국제 물동량의 증가로 인한 해상운송의 활성화는 시장 참여자들의 경쟁 심화로 이어지고 있다. 따라서 해상운송의 효율성 향상을 통한 경쟁력 강화의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 특히 한국의 경우에는 자동차 수출입 물동량의 증가로 인한 자동차 운반선사(Car Carriers)의 효율적인 운송계획의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자동차 운반선의 현황분석을 통한 운송계획의 문제점을 분석하고, 이를 해결할 수 있는 자동차 운반선 해상운송계획 지원 시스템을 개발한다. 이는 자동차 운반선에 관한 해상운송계획 과정을 체계화함으로써 계획의 수립 속도 및 질적 수준을 향상시키고, 계획의 체계적인 관리(수정, 변경 등)를 가능케 함으로써 사용자가 보다 나은 의사결정을 내릴 수 있도록 하기 위함이다. 한편 자동차 운반선의 해상운송계획 과정에서 해상운송과 자동차 화물의 특성에 의해 발생되는 다양한 예외상황들을 고려할 수 있도록 하기 위해 IP(Integer Programming) 모형을 사용하여 이익을 최대로 하는 또는 비용을 최소로 하는 최적의 안을 생성하고, 계획 수립 이후에 발생하는 변경사항들을 실무자가 효율적으로 수정할 수 있도록 해상운송계획 지원 시스템을 개발한다.

A Study on the Physical Behavior and the Applicability of Rock Anchorage System of a Suspension Bridge in Domestic Island (현수교 지중정착식 앵커리지의 거동특성과 국내 도서지역에서의 적용성에 대한 연구)

  • The rock anchorage of a suspension bridge is an outstanding anchorage type from environmental and economical perspective, although it should be applied when the bearing foundation is fresh enough to resist large cable loads. In practice, geotechnical engineers have encountered difficulties in designing the anchorage structure due to the fact that the physical behaviors of rocks against cable loads have not yet been fully proved and its design method was not established yet. In this study, model tests and numerical studies were performed to evaluate the behavior of the rock anchorage system planned under hard rock layers in domestic islands, and results suggest that the shape of asymmetric rock wedges can resist the tension loads with self weight and shear resistance. Additionally, real scale trial tests were carried out to verify the accuracy of an inclined drilling penetrating hard rock layers to install tendon to the bearing plate.

A Future Study Agenda Applying Service Research Framework (서비스 연구 프레임워크 관점에서의 향후 연구과제)

  • The importance of service science is emphasized in the modern economy, and the value and necessity of service research still increasing. Since the service research framework was proposed, it has been studied from various perspectives and incorporated into one framework--service research. The direction of service research has been established and a new baseline of research has been established. However, the modern economic and social environment could be described as a new era, the Fourth Industrial Revolution has changed drastically. More and more systematic research on services has become necessary. Therefore, this study analyzed the field of service research in the existing framework. The study suggested how service research could broaden the horizon of service research by studying the 'what'. To do this, we analyzed recent service research trends by themes. We also identified the shortcomings of previous studies about service, and suggested directions and research themes for future research. Based on this study we developed a general approach to the creation of new models from the viewpoint of service science. The authors were also able to develop a general approach to areas such as service innovation, service inference, service solution, and service design leverage. In addition, it is necessary to extend service research and business model to the utilization of service technology. This approach could contribute to forming the basis of future service development, and to utilize social media to create new value of innovative company. The results of this study could contribute to deepening and expanding service research.
