Development of the Sinusoidal Rotatory Chair System for Evaluation of the Vestibular Function (전정기능 평가를 위한 청현파 회전자극시스템의 개발)

  • 전정기관은 자세의 조절에 관여하지만, 전정기관의 손상은 현기증 및 자세부조화를 초래한다. 본 연구에서는 현기증의 원인을 규명할 목적으로 전정기능을 평가할 수 있는 정현파 회전자극시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 정현파 회전자극시스템은 회전의자와 구동 및 분석프로그램으로 구성하였으며, DC 서보모터로 구동되는 회전의자는 0.01-0.64 Hz의 주파수범위에서 60 ˚/sec의 초고속도로 정현파 회전한다. 현기증 환자에서 전정기능을 평가하기 위하여 전정안구반사, 시운동성 전정안구반사 및 시각의 억제에 의한 전정안구반사를 측정하여 안구운동의 이득, 위상, 대칭성 등을 산출하도록 정현파 회전자극시스템을 개발하였으며, 정상 성인에서 시험한 결과 신뢰성있는 성적을 얻었다. 따라서 본 시스템은 현기증 환자의 진단 및 치료정도를 판정할 수 있으르로 임상적으로 널리 사용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Sliding Mode Control with Velocity Feedforward Gain of a Pneumatic Motor (공압모터의 속도 전향이득을 갖는 슬라이딩 모드 제어)

  • In this study, the performance of the tracking control of a pneumatic servo motor driven position control system using sliding mode is investigated. It is usually quite difficult to obtain precise tracking control of a pneumatic servo motor driven position control system because of the nonlinear deadband and stick-slip friction of the proportional valve. Therefore, a continuous sliding mode controller with velocity feedforward gain is proposed. Experimental results show that the tracking accurracy can be remarkably improved by adding a proper velocity feedforward term to continuous sliding mode controller.

  • 현대 산업현장에서 80%이상 사용되는 PID(proportional integral derivative) 제어기는 제어성, 적응성, 제어이득 조정 등의 특정이 있어나 제어 대상에 대한 PID 제어 계수를 경험적 방법인 수동으로 동조해야하는 문제점이 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서 PID제어기의 최적 자동동조를 위한 릴레이 동조 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 한계감도법과 과도응답 법으로 초기계수를 결정하는 방법보다 유연성과 적용성이 높고, 이를 마이크로프로세서(DSP : TMS-320C32)에 적용하여 소프트웨어적으로 릴레이의 기능이 이루어지도록 설계했다. 이는 Ziegler-Nichols 계수조정법이 갖는 적용대상의 제약성을 극복한 방법이며, 릴레이에 의해 출력을 강제 진동시키고 출력의 진폭과 주기를 이용하여 PID 계수를 조정하고, 또 상대안정성의 척도인 위상여유를 고려하므로 시스템의 상대안정성과 견실성을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This paper reports the single-input-single-output cascade control by using 1-axis attitude control test-bench for quad-rotor UAV. The test-bench was designed as a see-saw shape using 2 motors and propellers, and to enable changing the center of gravity with the center of gyration using ballast. The experiment was carried out by constructing a PID-PID controller having a cascade structure with the test-bench. The SIMC based PID gain tuning process, which makes PID gain tuning easy, was grafted to cascade control. To graft SIMC method, the system parameter estimation result was conducted with second order time delay model by using Matlab-Simulink. Gain tuning was conducted by simulating with estimated system parameter. In this paper, the conventional application of SIMC was conducted and improved application was proposed for improving stability at tuning process.

  • To study a habit and life patten of a wild animal, this paper do a research on the location tracing system of wild animal by yagi-antenna low pass filter, angle tracking technology. Commonly, VHF Radio Telemetry is used for the location tracing system of wild animal. Considering movement, Previous yagi-antenna has 4-element and has advantage of portability but the other advantages are small and preference is weak. To make the advantage of yagi-antenna higher than previous one, Supposed technology adapt to 6-element and make out Narrow space yagi-antenna technology. Also, It supposes that AOA (:Angle of arrival) technology is applied to detecting technology for a close direction from received signal. Based on this study suggest that position tracing technology is so as to figure out a life patten and habit of a wild animal which live in a certain area.

  • A torque transmission system composed of several gears and couplings is flexible. In order to get an exact response of motor, the torsional vibration due to an unexpected change of motor speed must be suppressed. Therefore, it is very important that motor control suppress vibration. Various methods to control it including dual inertia system are proposed. Specially, the method of vibration suppression is that vibration can be suppressed to fee㏈ack the estimated torsion torque via the disturbance observer filter being of normal filter. The suitable Proportional controller and coefficient parameter can be designed using CDM and the torsional vibration also be suppressed, but it has a low degree of adaptability to disturbance. The PID controller can be designed easily, but makes the excessive overshoot and oscillation for system response in the early period. To resolve these problems, simple and practical PID controller with two degree of freedom is proposed recently that it ran improve performance of obeying the reference unconcerned in any disturbance by changing the proportional gain by two degree of freedom parameter. But it has also the defect that parameter a must be changed to obtain the ideal Proportional parameter. On this paper, we design the controller which automatically adjusts parameter u using fuzzy Algorithm to overcome such defects. Also, we compare the proposed method with established one and evaluate them to confirm performance of the designed controller.

  • We have studied on the possibility of railway stability system using RFID tag. UHF RFID tag was desinged, manufactured and tested. Proposed UHF tag antenna has PIFA type structure and inset feed multi matching technique was attempted for impedance matching of antenna. The impedance bandwidth (VSWR < 3) of the proposed tag antenna covers 917~923 MHz. Measured peak gain is 3.225 dBi and UHF band with an omni-directional radiation pattern. RFID reader and tag installed in motor car and track, respectively. Then, tag recognition rate according to velocity of car (under 45 km/h) represented 100 %.

  • This Paper proposes a practical design and implementation methodology for a disturbance rejection controller. In a 2 Degree-Of-Freedom (DOF) structure, disturbance rejection performance can be improved without a high gain in forward-loop controller which might cause unwanted side-effects in conventional controller. But, since design methodology of 2 DOF controller is originally derived from the 2 DOF theory, it is not easy to utilize fer various industrial applications. Disturbance observer is a simple, but very effective 2 DOF controller. In this paper, practical issues are discussed from basic idea of DOB to technical procedure for design and implementation. Additionally, a methods and their examples of experimental modeling are explained. The proposed method is demonstrated by two examples of linear-type motor systems.

  • PID controllers, which have been widely used in industry, have a simple structure and robustness to modeling error. But it is difficult to have uniformly good control performance in system parameters variation or different velocity command. In this paper, we propose an adaptive PID controller based on a gradient descent learning. This algorithm has a simple structure like conventional PID controller and robustness to system parameters variation. To verify performances of the proposed adaptive PID controller, the speed control of nonlinear DC motor is performed. The simulation results show that the proposed control systems are effective in tracking a command velocity under system parameters variation.

  • This paper proposes a new nonlinear speed controller with a fuzzy load torque observer based on the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy method for a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM). The LMI conditions are derived for the existence of the proposed nonlinear speed controller and fuzzy load torque observer, and the LMI parameterization to obtain the gain matrices of the controller and observer is given. In this paper, to verify the performance of the proposed nonlinear speed controller and fuzzy load torque observer, and the simulation and experimental results are demonstrated under motor parameter and load torque variations.
