  • Objective: The study aimed to understand the degree of improvement in damaged hair by applying mink oil. Methods: The agent used to improve hair texture is mink oil, which was applied in varying dosages (0, 1, 2, and 3 g). Hair characteristics were measured before and after applying mink oil to bleached hair for comparative analysis. To understand the effects of mink oil on hair texture, tensile strength, absorbance, and gloss were measured. Results: The results indicate a decrease in the tensile strength of damaged hair compared with healthy hair. Tensile strength at level 7 was achieved with high dosages of mink oil. Furthermore, the experimental group demonstrated an increase in absorbance compared with control. Compared to 0g for the control group, the absorbance values for the experimental group with mink oil dosages of 1, 2, and 3 g at level 7 decreased with the increased in mink oil dose. In terms of gloss, an increase was observed for bleached hair compared with healthy hair. At level 7, gloss decreased with the increase in mink oil dose. Conclusions: The results verified the improvement in hair texture after the application of mink oil to damaged hair. Future research should explore the effects of various oil ingredients on hair texture.

  • This study attempted to investigate the effect of improving damaged hair by preparing a hair improving agent with basil oil and applying it to damaged hair. An experimental material was added to a perm base agent containing 0 g, 3 g, 6 g, 9 g of basil oil to prepare the preparation. It was applied to sample hair bleached at 8 levels with the prepared formulation. Each sample and damaged hair were measured and analyzed. The measurement method measured tensile strength, absorbance and gloss using methylene blue to determine the effect of improving maternal quality. Statistical analysis was conducted on the reliability of the study results. Studies have shown that all samples with basil oil have higher tensile strength than damaged hair. As a result of the absorbance analysis using methylene blue, it was found that the absorbance was lower than that of damaged hair in all samples. Gloss measurement showed that all samples showed increased luster compared to damaged hair. In conclusion, basil oil was found to improve damaged hair. In the future, research on various types of oil and research methods is needed.

  • This study was aimed to investigate the improvement effects of kelp extract on the damaged hair by manufacturing hair quality improving formulation adding kelp extract and applying that in the damaged hair. With respect to the study materials, the formulation was manufactured with different strengths of kelp extract including 0, 2, 4, and 6 grams, adding perm base material. The manufactured formulation was applied to the decolored sample hair of Level 8 and its effects were measured and compared before and after its application. Tensile strength, absorbance using methylene blue, and gloss were measured as the tools to show the improvement effects of hair quality. To check the reliability of the results, statistical analysis was performed. Tensile strength showed to be increased in the Level 8 samples applied by the formulations containing 4- and 6-gram strength. Absorbance using methylene blue showed to be decreased in all the samples after the application, based on the absorbance results before and after the application. No difference was found in all the samples on the gloss. In conclusion, this study revealed that kelp extract could improve the damaged hair. Further studies are required to check the improvement effects on the damaged hair with multiple types of extracts and study methods.

  • This study was aimed to investigate the effects of hair dyeing and changes of hair quality by the application of indigo dye. Methods: Indigo dye was used after water bath. After application of the dye to healthy and bleached hair samples, they were treated with heat and remained naturally by different times. Each sample was measured before and after the application and compared for the analysis. To investigate the effects of dyeing, L⁎, a⁎, and b⁎ values and bleaching degree were measured using by color-difference meter. To understand the changes of hair quality, absorbance and gloss were measured using by tensile strength and methylene blue. Results: Upon the results of dyeing, all the samples showed the significant dyeing effects before and after the application in terms of L⁎, a⁎, and b⁎ values. With respect to the bleaching effects, it showed the greatest change on Day 1 and did not show any changes from Day 3. For the measurement of tensile strength, mean values of all the samples were increased. However, the results were not significant, statistically, demonstrating no change of hair quality. No statistically significant results were found in the samples except healthy 7L(3) sample upon the absorbance results using methylene blue. Gloss of samples was changed upon the statistical analysis results. Conclusion: Indigo dye showed the hair dyeing effects, significantly, while gloss was changed and tensile strength and absorbance were not changed in terms of hair quality. Further studies are required on the processing with a variety of dyes and on the measurements for reliability and objectivity.

  • In the large scale B2B transaction like buying Express-Train or selling Daewoo Motor, a tremendous amount of variables and factors of chaos functionate in it directly or indirectly. To get effective information processing on the so called complex system like this, it should be possible to unite the global insight power of the human being and the local computing power of the machine. In this paper, we suggested a union model of human being and machine using Hugent concept. Hugent is defined as an agent model which allows us to chemically unite the human's component and the machine's component in terms of information processing. In this paper, we showed that some typical problems contained in the complex system can be treated more easily through the suggested Hugent concept.
