In this study, it is intended to provide basic research data on hair loss and problematic scalp that is expanding to lower age groups and women. When using Company B's hair ampoule containing L-Menthol, Salicylic acid, and Dexpanthenol daily for women in their 20s with problematic scalp, the effect on the scalp and hair after 4 weeks was investigated. As a result of this study, when using Company B's ampoule containing L-Menthol, Salicylic acid, and Dexpanthenol, the subjects showed improvement effects such as relieving inflammation, reducing scalp fever and erythema, reducing itching and hair loss, and increasing hair thickness. In addition, it was confirmed that the scalp self-diagnosis of the subjects showed improvement effects on scalp satisfaction, scalp vitality and elasticity, heat generation, scalp pulling after cleaning, and itching. Through these research results, it is believed that products containing L-Menthol, Salicylic acid, and Dexpanthenol will help improve problematic scalp and hair.

It is a reality that office workers in modern society cannot overlook their appearance management for promotion in the workplace that does not fall behind in competition with others and smooth human relationships. According to this social trend, it is time to conduct an in-depth cosmetology study on the appearance management and perception of office workers, including hair styles. Therefore, this study analyzed the hair style type and preference closely by cross-analyzing the differences between groups by classifying the occupational persons of female airline crew, female soldiers, female sportsmen, female lawyers, and female nurses into age, marriage, academic background, and occupation. As result of study, it was found that different women in each occupational group had different results, such as their current hair style type and hair texture, the use of current hair styling products, and their personal preference for women's hairstyles and hair colors. This study will be used as basic data for developing new mode items that meet customer needs in the beauty marketing market and researching customer demand.

The purpose of this study is to compare the hairstyles between Korean and Australian women, who have different individual hair characteristics, social backgrounds, and culture from each other. Data were collected through a survey of 208 Australian females and 392 Koreans. Frequency analysis, t-test, and two-way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The results are as follows: Korean and Australian women maintain a hairstyle for six months or less in most of the cases. They preferred a hairstyle with bang, and the elderly especially a shorter hair length. Choosing their hairstyles depended on such factors as hair length, dyeing, form of face, harmony with clothing, and social status. There was no difference, however, in a preferred hair length. Korean women possessed brown and black hair colors in a descending order, whereas Australians light blonde and brown in a descending order as well. There was a big difference in the preference for a permanent wave. Korean women preferred to give a volume or curl to their hair, while Australians wanted to have a straight hair. According to the study on a hairstyle behavior, it was found that there were differences in fashion and individuality between two countries and also in dependency among age groups, whereas no differences existed in beauty.

This Study was conducted in order to provide a satisfying beauty service to customers by investigating the effect of hair thickness on personality and attitude of hair style. It executed a survey of customers within the age of $20{\sim}}40$ who come and go to beauty salons, dwell in Kyeong-gi and Seoul. First, it investigated the difference of blood types depending on hair thickness. Second, it investigated how hair thickness affects on types of personality. Third, it investigated the difference of hair style attitude depending on hair thickness. We picked normal hairs for mineral test from our salon customers of the occipital region, except coloring hairs, white hairs. The hairs were picked 2 cm off from the scalp. In the result, many people with thick hair were found to have the blood type O, and many people with thin hair were found to have the blood type A. Also, in the types of personality the owners of thick hair and thin hair were highly found to have characters of both sexes, the owners of normal hair were highly found to have feminine characters. Many of the owners of thick hair appeared to prefer short hair styles, a high percentage of the owners with thin hair appeared to have long hair styles, A type people who are introspective prefer soft and long hair styles which have less movement.

In order to express the ideal appearance, everyone, regardless of age or gender, invests boldly in appearance management. In particular, hair coloring and hair styling using irons are widely used and used. have. Therefore, for the purpose of presenting the efficient use of flat irons, the study of thermal analysis of virgin hair and bleach hair in 120℃ heat treatment is conducted. As a result of the study, it was found that the overall weight of bleached hair decreased more than that of virgin hair at all treatment temperatures of flat irons. Through this thermal analysis study that measures the weight change according to the temperature rise of virgin and bleached hair, beauty consumers provide information on the optimal temperature flat ironing procedure that can minimize hair damage and discoloration while maintaining color in hair subjected to physical friction. It is believed that it will provide them efficiently.

The purpose of this research is to recognize college students' thinking way for hair fashion. The tendency of hair style, hair dyeing and hair administration was examined with college students in Seoul, some cities and towns. Research analyzed and compared the result according to the distinction of sex, age and area. The questionnaire was asked to 257 boy students and 328 girl students. The result in this research is as following. 1. It was shown that our country college students were satisfied with their hair style on the whole. Especially, college students in Seoul appeared more satisfied tendency than other city or town. Seoul's college students preferred hair style of short haircut. Wide area city or small town's college students preferred long hair style. The degree of satisfaction about beauty salon service of Seoul city's college students is higher than that of wide area city or small town's college students. The reasons that they want to go to the beauty salon they used to are distance for boy students and excellent technology for girl students. Boy students change hair style regularly, but girl students change it when need to change their mood. 2. In our country, most college students had experienced that they had their hair dyed. More senior students had their hair dyed than junior students. Hair color that most like was nature brown. Seoul college students liked gold color. Seoul college students are more satisfied than wide area city or small town's college students after hair dyeing. Girl students thought that hair dyeing made their hair style excellent. 4. Girl students responded that their hair was much damaged. College students in Seoul had healthy hair. Girl students selected 「beauty art surgical operation」 for cause of hair damage, and boy student had the various causes of hair damage. College students in Seoul had much hair damage than students in any other area. Most were using shampoo, and girl students used much shampoo than boy students. Girl students selected shampoo according to their hair state, Seoul's college students had their hair washed with shampoo more frequently than other students. Girl students were getting more hair administration information with various form than boy students. Girl students used Hair Clinic for hair administration, but boy students never did it.

Appearance is a means of competitiveness for modern people, and one of the factors that harms the desires of modern people is white hair. For the modern man who needs to express beautiful appearance to others by covering white moth, we performed hair analysis after white moth hair dye treatment. The maximum modulus and tangential modulus according to the maximum load, maximum tensile strength, maximum elongation, breaking load, fracture strength, elongation at break, and evaluation interval between 1N-3N experimental group and control group of 1N-Respectively. Maximum load, maximum tensile strength, breaking load and breaking strength tended to be larger than those of the control group, while the maximum elongation and breaking elongation were the highest in the control group and the elongation decreased with the experimental group treatment. The maximum modulus and tangential modulus of the 1N-3N test group were higher than those of the control group at 0~0.15 and 0.15~2.5, respectively. Based on the study on the cosmetic changes of the hair before and after the treatment, it can be used as a basic data to select the correct oxidative hair dye product, the proper amount of application and the time to leave.

The purpose of this study was to analyze entertainer Byeon Jeong-su's hair styles and thereby, apply the results to models. For the applications, models' hair styles were bisected into two sections, and thereby, the edges of the outsides were cut into solid points, and thereupon, into diverse bases by using vertical section, Perpendicular direction and square angles. On the other hand, the insides were cut in the same way of the outside bases by using radial section, varied combing and $45{\sim}90$ degree head angles. In addition, tops and sides were arranged in their corners, while a graduation technique was used to express a natural difference of levels. The fringes were cut by using free-hand and slicing techniques. furthermore, the quantity and mass of the hairs were treated with such techniques as thinning, swing, effect, rolling, slide and slicing, while a bridge product was used for coloring together with a highlight technique. The hair styles were rendered for straight and wave by using an magic iron machine. It was confirmed through this study that the same cutting techniques would result in different images depending on individuals' physical shapes, facial shapes, head skeletons and types of hairs. Thus, it is required of the hair designers to suggest their own custom hair designs adequate to individuals' images through continued image-wise hair design practices.

Recently the hair style of Michelle Obama, the world's most recognized First Lady of the United States has been loved by the public with her optimistic confidence and as a fashion leader. For Michelle Obama's hair styles by length, a medium-short cut style was expressed in various ways to show her strong will by exposing the forehead, an elegant image by asymmetry hair, or a progressive image by a short volume hair cut. A medium cut style expressed an elegant and intelligent image in shoulder-length and a trendy image using a side parting. A updo hair style produced young, womanly, and casual images using twisting, binding, typing up, and rolling technique according to situations. For hair styles associated with her roles, when participating as a diplomatic delegate, she expressed the President's helpful partner by a soft and womanly image using bobbed hair and half updo technique. For the participation in state occasions, her hair styles were examined in three situations. First of all, she mainly had a neat style, exposing her forehead in official schedules as a political partner to create an intelligent and high-class image. Second, she expressed a strong will with a medium-short style during an election campaign. Finally, she showed an elegant and refined hair style in consideration of T.P.O. during social activity. Michelle Obama overcame her hair's handicap, grasped her images associated with hair length, and expressed hair strategically according to her roles as the first African-American First Lady of the United States.
