A Study on Hair Condition and Hair Control among College Female Students (여대생들의 모발상태와 모발관리습관)

  • 현대여성들은 모발상태에 관심이 많으나 정확한 모발분석을 해주는 곳도 드물고 자신의 모발상태에 관한 상담이나 지식을 전달받을 곳도 많지않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 1999년 10월 2일부터 -10월 6일까지 청주시내 거주하는 여학생을 대상으로 모발의 자가진단과 모발관리방법 모발에 대한 무제점 등을 파악하고 올바른 모발관리 습관을 갖는데 도움이 되고자 실시되었다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 연구대상자의 일반적 특성은 연령별 분포는 18세 -20세가 65,9% 21-30세가 30.9% 31세이상이 3,4%였다 2. 대상자들ㅇ의 모발상태는 손상모가 51.9%였으며 건강모가 21.6%로 손상모의 비율이 높았다. 3. 모발손상의 원인은 염색·탈색·퍼머의 시술이 47.1%로 가장높았고 드라이의 비율이 22.3%였다. 4. 모발이 자라는 정도는 잘 자란다가56,7%였다. 5., 현재 모발에 대한 가장 큰 관심거리는 머리결로 나타났고 헤어스타일도 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 6. 모발의 손질 횟수는 1주일에 한번이 32,3%로 가장 일반적이었고 대상자들의 33%는 모발손질을 전혀하지 않았다. 7. 모발의 손상도가 높을수록 모발관리벙법이나 횟수와 유의한 관련성이 있었다(P<0.05) 모발의 손상도가 심할수록 모발관리에 관심을 가졌고 모발관리 횟소도 많았다

A study of convergence management types based on self-perception of scalp and hair among college students majoring in cosmetology (미용전공 대학생들의 두피·모발에 대한 자가인식에 기반한 융합적 관리형태 연구)

  • This study aimed to help the college students majoring in beauty to have interests and manage the functional areas of scalp and hair by accurately identifying the condition of scalp and hair and realizing the convergence management habit and subjective symptoms for the condition. The study conducted a survey on 160 beauty major college universities in their 20s living in the Jeonnam area by asking the subjects to directly write the answers. The study found that many subjects had combination type of scalps and hair problems of split ends and thin hair, and recognized that their hair was damaged. They answered that frequent dyeing and perm caused the damage and they were using the shampoo for damaged hair to prevent hair damage. Regarding the observable symptoms on scalp and hair, it was identified that self-perception was higher as the interest in scalp was high, which influenced age and sleeping time.

Analysis of health habit and hair mineral nutrition status of media addicted adolescent (미디어중독 청소년의 스마트폰 사용의존도에 따른 건강습관 및 모발 무기질 영양상태 분석)

  • Purpose: Koreans' internet and smartphone usage hours are steadily increasing and the dependence of young people on smartphones is causing social problems. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine health and dietary habits, as well as hair mineral contents according to the level of dependence of smartphone use among adolescents to clarify the interrelation of smartphone dependence, lifestyle, dietary behavior, and mineral nutrition status. Methods: A total of 80 smartphone-addicted adolescents participated in this study and were divided into three groups (general, potential and danger group) according to smartphone dependence. The subjects' lifestyles and dietary behaviors were then surveyed, and hair mineral contents were analyzed. Results: Higher smartphone dependence was associated with lower average weekly sleeping time and later first smoking age. In the danger group, the rate of eating fast and the rate of snacking twice a day was also relatively high. Parents (45.0%) and mobile (30.0%) were the factors having the greatest influence on an individual's dietary behavior. In the hair mineral analysis, all subjects had lower selenium concentrations and higher lead concentrations than normal. In addition, the levels of aluminum in the danger group were higher than in the normal range and the highest among the three groups. Conclusions: It is necessary to guide adolescents to use smartphones correctly and manage dietary habits. In addition, careful attention is needed the mineral nutritional status of smartphone-addicted adolescents.
