We propose video management system based on MPEG-7 for mobile device(MVMS). Most of existing MPEG-7 applications manage MPEG-7 document based on file system in the desktop environment. To contrast them, because the MVMS manages only necessary information using embedded database system for MPEG-7 documents in mobile devices, it can use efficiently lack of the resource in mobile device environment. MVMS supports key image extraction and MPEG-7 document edition function. Moreover, this is possible search and management of multi document because of MVMS manage MPEG-7 data through embedded DB.

In u-GIS environments, a geographic information service system for mobile phone is consumer(user) oriented service system based on existing GIS and LBS considering characteristic of mobile phone. In the past, development of a geographic information service system for mobile phone dependent on various hardware specification of mobile phones and mobile operators. From now on, the geographic information service system for mobile phone independents on hardware specification of mobile phones and mobile operators. Also, it changes from service oriented GIS provider(specialist) to service oriented consumer. For the satisfaction of this requirement, we propose a design of geographic information service system for mobile phone using FLEX for creates standard execution file. The standard execution file is able to apply various mobile phone. And we propose a management method of picture contents combination of location information that geographic information service system for mobile phone is provided it firstly. In this system, it provides facilities that display map, manage location, manage contents, manage mash-up, manage map data. And then it provide facility of swf generation for display result map on mobile phone. In this paper, we are implemented the proposed system and seen same results in various mobile phone. The created *.swf file provides same result at any time, anywhere, anyone in spite of different zoom level and different display screen.

Currently, mobile handset embeds many communication modules including CDMA and Bluetooth, and many applications are developed based on these modules. In this paper, we study about wireless vehicle diagnosis software and user interface based on bluetooth system on mobile handset. We developed Bluetooth communication system on protocol converter between OBD(On Board Diagnostics)-II system. Based on this system, we can communicate ECU(Engine Control Unit) and mobile device based on windows .NET compact framework platform. Therefore we can easily diagnose vehicle state and obtain engine data. All user interface and vehicle diagnosis systems on mobile handset are developed under windows .NET compact framework platform. Using this system we achieved several improvements over existing vehicle diagnostic system; 1) the software download and upgrade can be achieve on wireless environment, 2) no additional diagnostic devices are requires, which saves additional cost and we can diagnose the vehicle easily, 3) we can easily port our system on many embedded systems including PDA and navigator, etc.

Ubiquitous environment is constructed by development of an IT technology, offer environment of many service changed to mobile environment. Also, existed service offered at fixed position like home or company, but according to development of mobile device. user require service as moving. Wibro can offer as user moving using mobile device. As requirement should be included authentication, in case of authentication between UICC and AAA authentication server is offered in Wibro, service is available. However, when UICC requires initial authentication to AAA authentication server, identification information of UICC expose as plaintext, so privacy infringement of mobile device occurs. Therefore, identification information of terminal generate randomly using OTP(One-Time Password) that generated in mobile terminal, and we proposed mechanism of privacy protection. Also, we proposed mechanism that offer secure service to user as offer authentication from OTP framework, and offer OTP combination authentication detailedly.

Nowadays, mobile users have a huge amount of multimedia contents and can use these contents anytime, anywhere by advance in computer and network techniques. However, users spend too much time for searching and managing these contents in web and local file system. Expecially, small and uncomfortable user interfaces of mobile devices make it difficult to search and manage multimedia contents. Therefore, an intelligent multimedia contents management technique is needed to use these contents more efficiently. In this paper, we propose a Personalized Mobile Multimedia Contents Provider (PMMCP) System which provides personalized multimedia contents based on users' psychological patterns and situations.

Smart working sparked by iPhone3 opens a revolution in smart ways of working at any time, regardless of location and environment. Also, It provide real-time information processing and analysis, rapid decision-making and the productivity of businesses, including through the timely response and the opportunity to increase the efficiency. As a result, every company are developing mobile information systems. But company data is accessed from the outside, it has problems to solve like security, hacking and information leakage. Also, Mobile devices such as smart phones belonging to the privately-owned asset can't be always controlled to archive company security policy. In the meantime, public smart phones owned by company was always applied security policy. But it can't not apply to privately-owned smart phones. Thus, this paper is focused to archive company security policy, but also enable the individual's free to use of smart phones when we use mobile information systems. So, when we use smart phone as individual purpose, the normal operation of all smart phone functions. But, when we use smart phone as company purpose like mobile information systems, the smart phone functions are blocked like screen capture, Wi-Fi, camera to protect company data. In this study, we suggest the design and implementation of real time control and management of mobile device using MDM(Mobile Device Management) solution. As a result, we can archive company security policy and individual using of smart phone and it is the optimal solution in the BYOD(Bring Your Own Device) era.

We propose a mobile point-of-sale system, which consists of only mobile information terminals and personal computers. The proposed system provides most of functionalities related with resource planning, adminstration and management, provided by medium-scale or large-scale POS systems, with additional functionalities, such as automatic information gathering and management through mobile interconnection, while eliminating the necessity of additional special-purpose devices, such as bar-code systems. The proposed system transmits order information through wireless and wired communication lines, thus allowing real-time sharing of order information among diverse information devices, such as mobile order receiving terminals, main server within stores, monitors and printers located in production lines. Also, the system is able to transfer such detail information produced within stores in real-time to the enterprise-level accounting, sales, logistics, personnel management system, which facilitate enterprise-wide management and administrative decision-making. No additional programs are required for mobile terminals. Order information received by such terminals are entered into databases through web server of main server and that information is again transferred to main server and production line printers. The proposed system can handle all the point-of-sale information and can provide almost of the POS functionalities by simply utilizing wireless internet, personal computers, and mobile terminals without installing specific-purpose peripheral devices. The proposed system can be widely applied to the small-scale stores and will contribute in reducing construction and maintenance cost required for point-of-sale management.

JAVA 2 ME 언어의 등장과 최근 무선 단말기에서의 KVM(Kilobytes Virtual Machine) 지원이 보편화되었지만, 휴대폰 단말기에서 벡터 지도서비스는 여러 가지 제약으로 인하여 그 동안 구현되지 못하였다. 본 논문에서는 휴대폰에서의 모바일 벡터 지도서비스를 위한 서버 모듈과 클라이언트 브라우저 모듈을 새로 설계하고 구현하여 제시한다. 본 제안 시스템은 클라이언트 모듈의 기능을 최소화하고 서버에서 지도 간소화 작업을 수행하여, 기존의 지도 데이터베이스로부터 직접 모바일 벡터 지도서비스가 가능하게 하였다.

모바일 기반에서 콘텐츠 개발을 할 때는 단말기의 하드웨어 특성을 고려해야 한다. 즉, 단말기에 할당된 힙(Heap) 메모리 크기에 제한이 있기 때문에 많은 양의 미디어 데이터를 응용프로그램에 포함시킨다는 것은 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제정을 극복하기 위하여 이미지, 사운드, 문자열과 같은 미디어 데이터를 서버로부터 다운로드 받아 활용할 수 있는 미디어 다운로드 서버를 구현하고, 시스템 설계시 고려해야 할 사항에 대해서 효과적인 접근 방법을 제시한다. 이로써 본 연구를 통하여 리소스 제약이 많은 모바일 환경에서 다양한 콘텐츠 개발을 가능하게 한다.
