  • 전자 ID 지갑은 일상생활에서 사용하는 지갑처럼 인터넷 상에서 사용되는 사이버 지갑으로, 사용자의 개인정보(주소, 전화번호 등), 인증정보, 지불정보 등과 같은 사용자의 Identity 정보를 보관하고 있다가 필요한 시점에 저장된 정보를 사용자의 통제 하에 자유롭게 이용할 수 있는 서비스 시스템이다. 모바일 전자 ID 지갑 시스템은 전자 ID 지갑 시스템의 구성 요소 중 하나로 개인의 모바일 단말장치에서 운영될 수 있는 소프트웨어로 구현되었으며, 사용자 인터페이스가 빈약한 모바일 단말장치에서도 사용자의 불편 없이 모바일 인터넷을 보다 안전하게 이용할 수 있는 방법들을 제공한다. 논문에서는 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 인터넷 환경 구축을 위해 개발된 기술들 중 하나인 모바일 전자 ID 지갑 시스템을 소개하고자 한다.

  • The MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is an independent network that is oranized by only Mobile Hosts. MANET guarantees the mobility of the node and does not need a backbone network or a base station. Recently, there is a strong demand to connect MANET to the Internet. For the interconnection between MANET and Internet, Mobile hosts of MANET must have global IP address. The well known scheme of the address configuration for MANET is SAA(Stateless Address Autoconfiguration). SAA configurated IP address by node itself. The advantage of SAA is not requiring any server for address configuration. However the SAA has problems of unstable and inefficient interconnection on the AD Hoc Network. To solve this problem we propose a method that assigns an IPv6 Global address to the node through the Internet Gateway. The format of assigned IPv6 address is also defined. The simulation result demonstrates that the proposed method can support the host for fast getting of global IPv6 Address and Mobile IPv6 efficiently.

Address Space Maintaining Scheme for Fast Program Execution in Linux-based Systems (Linux 기반에서 빠른 프로그램 실행을 위한 주소 공간 유지 기법)

  • The environment of Internet of Things (IoT) wherein various devices are connected through the Internet with value-added network functions, is currently a subject of active study. Accordingly, the existing computing environment based on desktop or mobile systems is being expanded into a computing environment of more diverse devices. Because the response of program launching is important in terms of User Experience (UX) in IoT environments, the technology for guaranteeing rapid response of program launching in IoT devices is getting the focus of much current research. In this paper we analyze the Zygote technique, which is being used for faster program execution in Android systems, and, based on our results, we propose an address space maintaining scheme for the rapid launching of programs for use in Linux-based systems. Our scheme utilizes the Copy on Write (CoW) technique in Linux systems as well as the Zygote technique of Android systems. In order to evaluate the proposed scheme, we implemented our scheme on Linux systems and performed several experiments. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme shortens the launching time up to 99%, compared to the existing technique.

An Improvement of Mobile IPv6 Binding Update Protocol Using Address Based Keys (주소기반의 키를 사용하는 모바일 IPv6 바인딩 갱신 프로토콜 개선)

  • Recently, a mobile IPv6 binding update protocol using Address Based Keys (BU-ABK) was proposed. This protocol applies Address Based Keys (ABK), generated through identity-based cryptosystem, to enable strong authentication and secure key exchange without any global security infrastructure. However, because it cannot detect that public cryptographic parameters for ABKs are altered or forged, it is vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks and denial of service attacks. Furthermore, it has heavy burden of managing the public cryptographic parameters. In this paper, we show the weaknesses of BU-ABK and then propose an enhanced BU-ABK (EBU-ABK). Furthermore, we provide an optimization for mobile devices with constraint computational power. The comparison of EBU-ABK with BU-ABK shows that the enhanced protocol achieves strong security while not resulting in heavy computation overhead on a mobile node.

  • In this paper, we propose the fast and secure binding update protocol as handoff or handover in the micro and pico environment based on mobile IPv6. The nodes or routers on participating in this protocol generate their addresses from cryptographically generated addresses (CGAs) method unlike previous address generation method. The mobile node (MN) includes in home network or home link has limited power and computational abilities. So the home agent (HA) of the MN executes key agreement protocol with the correspondent node (CN) on behalf of the MN. The CN then creates a ticket on including session key, lifetime of ticket. and so on. It then transmits it to the MN via the HA of the MN. The ticket is used to communicate directly between the MN and its CN. In performance analysis, we analyze security of proposed binding update protocol under various attack scenarios and efficiency by comparing proposed protocol with prior binding update protocols. Finally we make a conclusion of this paper and present future works.

  • Simulation analysis may be the essential means to either evaluate performance of systems or optimize system parameters for new design. Including many variations for design and implementation, MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork) is one target area of such an analysis. Since every node, however, included in the network has mobility, one MANET could be overlapped or merged with another one which use a different transport protocol. In order to communicate among nodes in this case, the new merged network should configure paths and addresses in advance. Configuring paths and addresses generates much overheads which ultimately cause delay in communicating data. Performance analysis is required to improve the data transport performance by minimizing overheads. This paper proposes a sound address auto-configuration method which is based on an on-demand manner and then presents modeling and performance analysis of the method. NS-2 simulation results verify that the proposed method can not only alleviate overheads, which are inevitably generated for address auto-configuration processes, and but also decentralize them in time.

  • 본 튜토리얼 논문에서는 최근 들어 다양한 형태의 스마트 기기 보급 확산으로 인한 모바일인터넷은 물론 사물인터넷 시대의 도래로 급격히 증가하는 인터넷 주소 수요로 인해 도입의 필요성이 대두되고 있으며 국내 외적으로 적용 확산을 위한 시도가 활발하게 진행되고 있는 IPv6(IP version 6)의 기본 개념과 관련 기술을 표준화 및 논문연구를 중심으로 알기 쉽게 이해시키고자 한다. 첫 번째로, 현재 사용되고 있는 인터넷 프로토콜 IPv4(IP version 4)와의 특징 비교와 주소 및 헤더를 통해 IPv6의 기본 개념을 자세하게 설명한다. 두 번째로, IPv4와 IPv6의 공존과정에서 IPv6의 연착륙을 위해 필요한 다양한 전환기술을 접근 방식과 세대별 분류를 통해 설명한다. 세번째로, 다양한 무선 환경에서의 이동단말의 연속적인 인터넷 서비스를 위한 IPv6 이동성 기술을 중앙 집중형 및 분산형 관리 기반으로 나누어 소개한다. 네 번째로, IPv6 보안측면에서의 이슈를 다루고, 다섯 번째로로, 4세대 이동통신망(4G) 대비 10~1,000배의 연결 디바이스를 고려하고 있는 5세대 이동통신망(5G) 네트워크 환경에서 중요한 서비스로 간주되고 있는 사물인터넷 서비스에서의 IPv6의 역할을 다룬다. 마지막으로, 국내외에서 진행된 대표적인 IPv6 상용서비스 사례를 제시한다.
