Phase Noise Spectrum of LNB for PSK Multi-mode satellite transmission signal (PSK 고차모드 위성전송을 위한 저잡음 증폭 주파수 변환기의 위상 잡음 해석)

  • The LNB phase noise of user terminal for high data rate satellite transmission was analyzed in this paper. The phase noise severely affects the service performance in low data rate transmission as well as multi-mode signal for high data rate. As the satellite link frequency is increased, the effects of phase noise for multi-mode signal is increased. The phase noise of LNB, which is operated in high frequency band, is about equal to the transmission system phase noise and have an major effects on service performance degradation. The available transmission mode was analyzed in presence of phase noise of LNB and analysis method for LNB phase noise spectrum distribution was proposed in multi-mode signal.

  • In this paper, the typical combustion instabilities in hybrid rocket were studied. To induce combustion instabilities in the combustor with the diaphragms were mounted, on front and rear of the fuel, and combustion experiments were performed. The calculated theoretical frequencies using Longitudinal Acoustic Mode and Helmholtz Mode are compared with experimental frequencies using FFT analysis. The theoretical calculated results showed good agreements with experimental results are compared.

  • 본 논문에서는 CNN을 이용한 TCX 모드 기반의 주파수 정보 복원 기술을 제안한다. TCX 모드는 USAC에서 지원하는 음성을 위한 양자화 기술로 부호화 과정에서 포락선을 평탄화한 후 양자화한다. 이러한 평탄화 동작은 주파수 정보 간의 상관도를 높여 네트워크의 학습을 쉽게 만들고 예측 성능을 높인다. 제안하는 방법은 청각 심리 모델 기반으로 구현된 주파수 정보 복원 방법에 TCX 모드 기반의 양자화 방법을 적용하여 일부 주파수 정보만을 사용해 손실된 주파수 정보를 복원한다. 제안하는 방법을 사용해 기존 방법보다 낮은 학습 오차를 얻었고 최적화 되지 않은 조건에서 동등한 음질을 얻었다.

Mode Truncation Method in Frequency Response Analysis (주파수 응답해석의 모드 축약법)

  • In the frequency response analysis using a modal method, it is very important to determine the number of modes involved with the formulation of a frequency response function. Most engineers are inclined to determine mode truncation with their experience. But it is difficult for non-experts to decide the mode truncation reasonably in many problems of dynamic analyses. In this study, fuzzy theory is used to standardize the empirical determination of mode truncation so that not only the experts but also non-experts can decide a Proper mode truncation easily. Fuzzy rule base is based on the simulation results using finite element method. Numerical simulations show that the developed mode truncation method is a very effective method to choose the number of the considered modes.

FRF Analysis of a Vehicle Passing the Bump Barrier (둔턱 진행 차량의 주파수응답 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the frequency characteristics of forced vibration considering the vehicle progress. And the vibration characteristics in frequency domain that occur, when vehicle passes the bump, were analyzed. The responses such as displacement, velocity and acceleration were obtained through numerical analysis, and FFT processing was performed to analyze the frequency response function(FRF) characteristics. In particular, the location of vehicle eigenmodes and external excitation modes was clearly shown and analyzed. In the forced vibration model by external force, the behavior of the eigenmode in power spectrum and real and imaginary parts were also analyzed. The mode characteristics were also analyzed in each FRF. It was approximated by assuming total excitation force by considering the exciting frequency using impulse and sine wave forces, which can give the amplitude and frequencies. The response characteristics of forced oscillations having different mass, damping and stiffness have been systematically discussed.

  • 본 연구에서는 압전 세라믹인 PZT를 이용하여 두께 진동모드의 다중모드 필터를 설계, 제작하였다. 다중모드 세라믹필터의 등가회로를 설계하였고, 이를 이용하여 설계변수 인 물성변수와 형상변수에 따른 필터전달특성의 경향을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 10.7MHz의 중심주파수를 가지는 세라믹필터를 제작하였고, 설계변수 중에서 압전세라믹 기 판과 전극형상의 변화에 따른 필터의 전달특성의 변화를 실험적으로 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통한 경향분석결과는 다양한 진동모드와 다양한 주파수대를 가지는 다중모드 필터를 설계하 는데 있어서 유용한 도구로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

Multimode Analysis of a Rectangular Cavity Partially Filled with Dielectric (유전체로 일부 채워진 직육면체 캐비티의 다중모드 해석)

  • Multimode characteristics of a dielectrically loaded rectangular cavity are analyzed by a graphical method. Coupled transcendental equations for multimode frequencies may be solved graphlially. This shows that the resonant frequencies of the partially flued cavity with a dielectic are shifted toward lower frequencies compared to those of the empty cavity. It is shown that a perturbational scheme can not be employed to calculate multimode frequencies because of relatively large frequency shrift. Existence of the surface wave modes In the dielectric and their resonant frequencies are early predicted from this graphical method.

밀도구배 및 후류손실을 가지는 혼합층의 불안정성에 관한 연구

  • 후류손실을 가지는 혼합 전단층에 대하여 밀도변화가 없는 유동 및 밀도변화가 있는 유동의 선형 불안정성 해석을 수행하였다. 기본 유동의 속도장 및 밀도장은 tanh 함수를 사용하였으며, Gaussian 형태의 해석적 함수를 사용하여 두 유동을 분리시키는 평판 바로 다음에 존재하는 후류 손실 유동을 포함시켰다. 공간적 선형 불안정성 해석을 수행하여 불안정성 모드의 성장률과 파장속도를 주파수의 함수로서 구하였다. 해석 결과로부터 후류 손실을 가지는 혼합층은 sinuous 모드와 varicose 모드의 두 개의 불안정성 모드를 가짐을 알았다. 밀도가 균일한 경우에는 varicose 모드보다 sinuous 모드가 지배적이다. 밀도가 균일한 경우에는 varicose 모드보다 sinuous 모드가 지배적이다. 밀도구배가 존재하나 빠른 자유유동의 밀도가 높은 경우에는 밀도가 균일한 경우와 마찬가지로 sinuous 모드가 지배적인 모드가 된다. 그러나 느린 자유 유동의 밀도가 높은 경우에는 밀도장의 두께가 속도장의 두께보다 상대적으로 얇아지면 varicose 모드가 sinuous 모드보다 더욱 불안정하여질 수 있다. varicose 모드와 sinuous 모드의 성장률이 비슷한 밀도장의 두께에서는 두 불안정성 모드가 주파수 변화에 따라 분지 되어지는 경향을 보인다.

A Numerical Study on Bituning of Acoustic Resonator in a Combustion Chamber of Liquid Rocket Engine (로켓엔진 연소기에서 음향 공명기의 bituning에 관한 수치적 연구)

  • A linear acoustic analysis is conducted to examine bituning of acoustic resonators for acoustic damping in a combustion chamber of liquid rocket engine. Bituned resonators are tuned to the two principal modes, the first tangential(1T) and the first radial(1R) modes. First, the acoustic-damping effect of monotuned resonators is investigated. The damping capacity is quantified by damping factor as a function of the number of the resonators monotuned to 1T or 1R mode. Next, the damping characteristics of the bituned resonators are investigated. From the numerical data, the number of resonators, to be tuned to 1T and 1R modes, respectively, can be selected properly. Furthermore, the concept of resonator bituning is applied to reduce the degradation of damping effect caused by the mode split and thereby, optimal bituning frequencies are found.

Estimation of System Damping Parameter Using Wavelet Transform (웨이블릿 변환에 의한 시스템 감쇠변수 평가)

  • The estimation of system damping parameter of the response signal with lower natural frequency and higher damping parameter from free vibration is affected by the wavelet center frequency. This study discusses these considerations in the context of the wavelet's multi-resolution character and includes guidelines for selection of wavelet center frequency. The experiment with H-Beam and numerical examples with respect to three cases (i)single mode, (ii)separated modes and (iii)close modes demonstrate the validity of method to improve the accuracy of the estimated damping parameter. The localization of the corresponding scale for the total scales is determined by the natural frequency of the analysing mode and is affected by the wavelet center frequency. Thus, the reliability for the accuracy of the estimated damping parameter can be improved by the corresponding scale of the natural frequency for the analysing mode is localized at the half of the total scales.
