  • The form of the furniture developed variously according to the flow of the time. The Soban used in the modern living space is used as a decoration. but the furniture has to be used according to the form of the modern life and residential space. The furniture is the medium interacting with the surrounding environment in the residential space. I reconstruct the splendid fanciness of the pattern of the Haejuban and nature of structure and apply to the table design. The table gave the change of the form in order to be suitable for the residential space. and it raised the efficiency of the convenient of the custody and space utilization.

Catching Performance for the Mechanized Pollock Longline (기계화된 명태연승의 조획성능)

  • Catching performance of a mechanized pollock longline system compared with traditional one were examined in order to evaluate the practicality during two cruises in the Sokcho area. Mechanized longline system consists of random baiter, bait cutting machine, storage rails, and line hauler. Baiting efficiency of random baiter was 90-95% with 4-5kt shooting speed. Catching performance of the first experiment, salted sand lance only used as a bait. shows no significant difference between mechanized operation with use fresh sand lance as a bait caught significantly more pollock than traditional one with use salted sand lance (P<0.016). Improved catch rates were about 2 times. As soak time goes on, relative catching efficiency shows a steady increase up to 6~7 hours and thereafter gradually decrease.

Preparation of Pronase Hydrolysate from Alaska-pollack (명태단백 Pronase 가수분해물의 제조)

  • In order to enhance the utility of alaska-pollack, the optimum conditions for the preparation of pronase hydrolysate. The optimum temperature and pH for the hydrolysis of alaska-pollack by pronase were 4$0^{\circ}C$ and pH 7.0. The reaction time and enzyme concentration were 4 hr and 1,000 units per g of substrate. Under the above optimum conditions alaska-pollack was hydrolysed by pronase yielding a hydrolytic degree of about 89eye. The bitterness and hyrophobicity of pronase hydrolysate were decreased with increasing reaction time. Hydrophobic amino acids(Tyr, Met, Ala, flu, Leu, and Phe) were increased for 2 hr, but fur thor hydrolysis was showed decrease of hydrophobic amino acids content. Palatable amino acids (Asp, Glu, Pro, Ser, Thr and Gly) were increased with hydrolysis time.

  • Recently, the studio which is urban housing form is rapidly growing up by new residential space according to increasing 1~2 person households form because of Modern members who have changing patterns of life and diversification of social values. The resident of the studio who lives or uses the space for a work such as students, office worker and soho-jok has various characters by a society nature changes and a regional peculiarity. The studio form and function is getting change according to variety trend changes and their life styles. The role and use of residential space also have variety such as the resident who lives in the studio. This study is to find the space utilization for them and reasonable housing solution in that structure, furniture and Wall Storage System of existing studio which is based on the common life patterns. The study's purpose is to propose the furniture design of changeable Wall Storage System according to the analysis.

Study on the freshness change of Pacific Macheral, Hair Tail, and Alaska Pollack by the various storage conditions (고등어, 칼치, 명태의 선도변화에 관한 연구)

  • The fishes that are mostly used in our homes such as Pacific Mackeral, hair Tail and Alaska Pollack were devided into Freezing group, Refrigerating group and Room temperature group according to storage temperature. TVB-N, TMA-N, TMA-O and pp.H. were measured in natural state, after water washing and 3% NaCl-water washing. The results are as follows: 1. Regardless of the kinds of fishes, TVB-N in room temperature showed that rottenness first appeared after 5~8 hours in raw state, 6~12 hours in water washing, and 8~12 hours in 3% NaCl-water washing. 2. Regardless of freezing and refrigeration, Pacific Mackeral became rotten after 14 days in raw state, 14~17 days in water washing and 17 days in 3% NaCl water washing. Alaska Pollack and Hair Tail showed rottenness after 8 days in raw state, 11 days in water and 3% NaCl water washing. 3. Even in hot summer days, freshness could be preserved for 10 days if fishes were freezed ($-20^{\circ}C$) or refrigerated (4~$8^{\circ}C$) after bowel excluded, washed in NaCl water and enveloped in poly-ethylene bag.

  • The influences of spring position and spring stiffness on the critical force of a cantilevered beam subjected to a follower force are investigated. The spring attatched to the beam is assumed to be a translational one and can be located at arbitrary positions of the beam as it has not been assumed so far. The effects of transeverse shear deformation and rotary intertia of the beam are also included in this analysis. The charateristic equation for the system is derived and a finite element model of the beam using local coordinates is formulated through extended Hamilton's principle. It is found that when the spring is located at position less than that of 0.5L, the flutter type instability only exists. It is shown that the spring position approaches to the free end of the beam from its midpoint, instability type is changed from flutter to divergence through the jump phenomina according to the increase of spring stiffness.

  • The recent development of electro-optic devices and anticorrosion media has made it necessary investigate infrared optical systems with solid-solid interfaces of materials with amorphous characteristics. One of the most promising classes of materials for these purposes seems to be chalcogenide glasses, which are based on the Ge_Sb_Se system, have drawn much attention because of their use in preparing optical lenses and fibers that are transparent in the range of 3-12 um. In this study, a standard melt-quenching technique was used to prepare amorphous Ge_Sb_Sechalcogenideto be used in the design and manufacture of infrared optical products. The results of structural, optical, and surface roughness analyses of high purity Ge_Sb_Sechalcogenide glasses after various annealing processes reported.

  • Geomancy accepts with a pre-requisite that human beings adapt themselves to nature as an organism, because people and environment, bodies and space have the homogeneity which can not be divided by a dichotomy. The homogeneity as a structure alive implies a deep relationship with biorhythm and the change of space, and is regarded as a concept and role significant on the coordination. In other words, applying the element in the geomancy could be interpreted as a work giving a new meaning and spirit on a creation of space and furniture coordination. Harmony and balance shown in design concepts have a relationship with the meaning on Yin-Yang and the Five Elements theory. In addition, the characteristic in each element is suggested as an example applying the concept of geomancy through furniture coordination for each space in the chapter 4.

  • Beauty of balance, can be found in antique furniture of the Joseon Dynasty. Balance, give comfort and peace of mind to people. Even today, the balance in various fields, it is easily viewed, and an important one element indispensable in the design. Various lighting is an essential element of the interior to create an atmosphere of space. It is also useful in a variety of ways for beauty, emotional effect, such as the switching of visual atmosphere. This design was designed with the concept of balanced. In addition, I have applied a simple graphic appearance. To give the fun and tension while giving it a well-balanced when you meet the figure. The design of this study is nothing more than a single direction. It will be in the traveling direction of the future as a designer by using a simple structure and phenomena that appear in life, is given to the design without the feeling of rejection to the user.
