A guest room section is the most important part of the hotel design. It contributes not only to the marketing but also to the effective distribution of the floor plan. This study is to provide the trends of the plan type of the guest rooms at the luxury resort hotels in Jeju-do through analyzing the typical floor plan type and surveying the area distribution of the guest room section. The purpose of the study is to provide the basic materials for the improvement of the quality of hotel guest rooms in Jeju-do, which is emerging as the international tourism destination of 21C. Here, we make the 13 luxury resort hotels in Jeju-do an subject of the study. They are divided into three grades by the size, quality, and the service.

Diseases of cranial nerves are one of the most difficult illnesses to be treated because of the fact that diseases are hardly detected in early stage. As the nation is becoming an aging society, there is an increasing number of the patient who has diseases of cranial nerves. So a lot of healthcare facilities is in the middle of having a preparation for medical center providing adequate medical service to the patient suffering from diseases of cranial nerves. However, it is extremely difficult to define what the specialized medical center is. It is necessary to give an architectural suggestion of the specialized medical center in response to the proposal of healthcare system for successful operation. Therefore this study aims to suggest the composition and the area of the medical center on neuroscience.

Purpose: As the nation is becoming an aging society, there is an increasing number of the patient who has Diseases of cardiovascular disease. So it is necessarily to build a facility which provides specialized health care. Methods: Field surveys to facilities and analysis to the floor plan have been conducted in order to suggest adequate architectural composition to the specialized cardiovascular center and the dimensions of rooms. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into six points which contain guide to how to organize the specialized cardiovascular center. One of the most important things in this study is to suggest the architectural type which provides efficient collaborating system between the outpatient and angiography unit. Implications: It can be said that this paper can be useful research material when the architect tries to plan the specialized cardiovascular center.

This study focuses on the proposal of the basic data for the design guideline on the coming design, through the comparison analysis of the community facility's layout type inside housing complex, the space configuration and the characteristic of space program for the achievement and improvement of the physical space to cultivate the sense of community. This study investigate interviews with designers, administrators, residents, and site survey. The result of study shows that the community facilities in the public rental apartments have changed to include various programs and to increase the area like the public sales apartments, but there are spacial transformation if the community facilities do not apply the residents characteristic.

The medicine development and upwardly raised standard of living brings out the increased dental needs at dental hospital OPD. The dental college hospital, follows up the raised dental needs, was subdivided by specialized dental office. And now a specialized dental office needs co-work with the other specialized dental office for special dental illness and treatment. The purpose of this study is to provide a proper area distribution and location of each specialized dental office and relationship between dental office, clinic and other department by analyzing the space, area and characteristics of dental hospital OPD. The results could be used for helping its users, of patients and dentists.

This study is about the Spatial Composition and Area Distribution in the Urban Health Centers. The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic direction of urban health center plans which has urban characters according to the changes of public health systems and environments. The methods of this research was executed by surveys of documents and plans and field observations. The targets of this study are public health centers that have been constructed since 2000 and are constructing until now and investigated this facilities.

In order to overcome such limits of hotel sales, the role of hotel public section, such as eating and drinking facilities, is very important. Moreover, city hotels increase the value of public section by providing various event for citizens as well as and services for banquet. Since Jeju has urban hotels and resort hotels mixed together, their Plane types and area composition based on the characters of customers using the public section are different from ones of other cities. The purpose of this study is to provide basic material for the qualify improvement of the luxury resort hotels in Jeju. We examine the tendency of the systematic Plane composition of the Public sections which take different types of customers, such as Jeju people and tourists, into consideration, analyzing the plane types and the area composition of the luxury resort hotels in Jeju. The study shows that the public part of hotels always had great impact on hotels sales depending on the compositions of plane and area.

Recently According to the development of the medical technology and medical machine, People's concern with health promotion has improved. Futhermore, medical consuming pattern has significantly changed, and requires diverse health check-up services. This study represent the standards for the spatial composition and area calculation of the Health Promotion Center according to domestic situations. The present conditions and space programs of 4 general hospital's Health Promotion Centers were investigated and analyzed for this purpose. This study suggest a basic study on the architectural planning of the Health Promotion Center.

This study is about the Spatial Composition and Area Calculation in Plastic Surgical Clinics. 1. The space of the plastic surgical clinics are divided into 4 sections; exam, exam support, the staffs, and waiting and reception area. 2. The average G/N ratio of width was 1.46. The Plastic surgical clinics which had great deviation in the ratio showed these characteristics; first, when they were planned at first, the operation rooms were not assigned enough space; second. space for supporting exam and the activities of staffs was given too little consideration in their first drafts. 3. The average size of operation rooms was $21.76m^2$. The most desirable size was found to be $26.4m^2$ when we put the number of staffs, the movement area of stretcher, and the movement lines of operation room into consideration.

Recently, every hospital requires the creative and novel design which is different from the conventional concept to deal with various circumstances. Accordingly, various space arrangements are proposed against the past uniform hospital type. But the sufficient studies about medical facilities in small and medium city and countryside still lack, otherwise there is short but continuous accumulation of data about the study for general hospitals. In this sense, this study generalizes the present medical condition in Ansan city and analyzes the spatial composition and area distribution in departments for the purpose of presentation of fundamental data about medical policy and architecture in Ansan city.
