For accurate search on information resources, it is needed to manage gradual changes in ontology efficiently. Recently, because ontology is often written using OWL, techniques that can manage changes in OWL documents are required. To meet these needs, in this paper, we classify changeable elements to detect changes in OWL ontology and propose a storage schema that can manage the changes according to the characteristics of each element. And we suggest the possibility of improving performance of query processing using views that provide information about classes or properties in each ontology version. The proposed storage schema stores changes in metadata associated with each ontology version. In addition, it can manage metadata that must be added or deleted through reasoning when ontology changes. So, the proposed storage schema can support queries about history of changes in ontology and provide accurate and valid metadata that is suitable for user-selected ontology version.

Lately, most of the libraries subscribe electronic resources such as e-journals, under the license contracts for the access and use of these electronic resources. It was found that the management of licensed electronic resources in the library has become one of the major problems due to the lack of proper metadata elements in the existing management system of electronic resources. The purpose of the study is to establish metadata for licensed electronic resources.

It's important to develop Metadata standard to manage a large of marine geospatial data such as observation, ocean survey, satellite image more effectively. If we use metadata in Marine GIS we can make sense marine geospatial data, make the most of marine dataset. International standard organization's work and NGIS's standard are a good example to illustrate metadata standard's importance. In computer-based virtual lab, a bioscience researcher who wants to obtain bio information first uses a biodiversity-related database to retrieve information on species, ecology and distribution of an organism. The researcher also needs to access gene/protein databases such as GenBank or PDB to find information on the organism's genetic sequence and protein structure. Furthermore, the researcher should search for academic papers containing the information on the organism so that his research is based on comprehensive and accurate information. This series of activities often undermines research efficiency as it takes a lot of time and causes inconvenience on the part of researchers. To solve such inconvenience, we analyzed various methods for integrated search and chosen schema integration. In addition, we analyzed each databases and extracted metadata for designing schema integration. This paper introduces a biological information retrieval system(BIRS) using schema integration and it's interface that will increase research efficiency for bioscience.

인터넷과 웹과 같은 정보사회의 교육환경 변화에 따른 교육정보의 교류 수요의 급속한 증가에 따라 교육정보 자료에 대한 메타데이터의 표준이 필요하게 되었다. 이에 따라 국내에서는 개별적으로 개발되고 있는 교육정보 자료를 통합적으로 공유, 재사용하기 위하여 KEM(Korea Education Metadata) Ver 2.0을 한국교육학술정보원에서 개발하였다. 또한 해외에서는 최근 급증하고 있는 멀티미디어 데이터의 적절한 표현을 위하여 MPEG-7 표준이 제정되었다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 형태의 교육정보 자료 중에서 교육정보 이미지에 대한 검색시스템을 설계하였다. 본 검색시스템의 설계는 한국교육학술정보원에서 개발된 KEM Ver 2.0을 수용하기 위하여 교육정보 이미지의 메타데이터 표현을 KEM Ver 2.0에서 제안된 메타 데이터 표현을 MEPG-7으로 확장한 XML 스키마를 사용하였다. KEM Ver 2.0 기반의 high-level 메타데이터와 MEPG-7 기반의 low-level 메타데이터를 이용함에 따라 국내에서 사용되는 교육정보 이미지의 상호교환 뿐 아니라 체계적이고 빠른 검색과 추출이 가능할 것이다.

In this paper, we propose a system which automatically generates SHACL schemas to describe and validate RDF knowledge graphs constructed by RML mappings. Unlike existing studies, the proposed system generates the schemas based on not only RML mapping rules but also metadata extracted from RML mapping input data in various formats such as CSV, JSON, XML or databases. Therefore, our schemas include the constraints on data type, string length, value range and cardinality, which were not present in the existing schemas. And we solves the problem with "repeated properties" which overlooked in existing studies. Through a conformance test consisting of 297 cases, we show that the proposed system generates correct constraints for the graphs. The proposed system can contribute to automation of the tedious and error-prone existing manual validation processes.

본 논문은 MPEG-7 BiM 규격에 따라 XML 스키마 정의를 기반으로 바이너리 형태로 압축하고 복원하는 시스템의 구현에 관한 것이다. MPEG-7 BiM 압축기 및 복원기의 세부 모듈과 기능을 서술하고, 설계 및 구현방법을 제안한다. 구현된 MPEG-7 BiM 압축기 및 복원기는 대역폭의 제약이 심한 방송 분야에서 메타데이터 전송을 위한 핵심 모듈로 사용 될 수 있다.

Recently, cutting-edge ICT technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, edge computing, and the Internet of Things have been applied in various fields to create new services and a new digital era. Along with these technological developments, various policies are being implemented in Korea to transform the country from a "Smart City" to a "Platform City". We can create new services and values by linking with the Smart City Integrated Platform and Smart Housing Platform. This paper defines a linkage scenario between a Smart Housing Platform and the Smart 119 Emergency Dispatch Support Service, one of the Smart City Safety Nets. We propose a data transmission protocol and a metadata schema for data exchange between the Smart Housing Platform and the Smart City Integrated Platform to provide the Smart 119 Emergency Dispatch Support Service.

The metadata elements of TV programs were designed based on PBCore (Public Broadcasting Metadata Dictionary), which is useful descriptive metadata for TV programs, and on interview results with TV program records managers. TV program information was visualized to extract core information and build a proper schema. Through this analysis, detailed metadata elements were designed in four representative areas: intellectual content, intellectual property, instantiation and extensions.

본 연구는 온톨로지, 자연어 처리, 메타데이터 등의 시맨틱 웹 기반 기술들을 이용하여 시맨틱 웹 응용을 위한 전체적인 기술 적용과 그의 활용에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 OWL을 기반으로 조직이나 기관의 지식 주제별 도메인 온톨로지와, 기존 워드넷(WordNet)이나 더브린 코어 메타데이터(Dublin Core Meta Data)와 조직에 정의된 데이터베이스의 스키마를 MDR로 구축하여 상호 연결하여 온톨로지가 갖는 지능적 추론과 규칙 서비스와 표준화된 메타데이터의 결합 방법을 제공한다. 이는 기존에 온톨로지와 메타데이터의 재활용과 연결(Alignment)에 있어 연구적으로 높은 가치가 있다. 그리고 조직의 사용자가 문서를 작성할 때 문서의 내용에 대해 자연어 처리 기술과 온톨로지의 기술을 이용해 적합한 용어나 메타데이터를 자동으로 제공하여 작성된 문서의 공유와 재사용성을 높이고, 작성된 문서를 XML 형식으로 구성되는 XML 기반 지능 문서 데이터베이스(XMB Based Intelligent Document Database)에 저장하여 유사한 문서를 작성하거나 사용할 필요가 있는 사용자에게 문서 등록과 검색 에이전트(Document Registry and Retrieval Agent)를 통해 이러한 제공하여 문서 지식의 사유화를 최소화 하고, 유사 문서의 재작성과 또는 특정 문서의 작성에 필요한 시간이나 경비를 줄이게 된다. 또한 웹상이나 PDA 같은 개인 휴대장치를 통해서도 서 등록과 검색 에이전트를 통해 문서를 검색하고 사용할 수 있게 한다면 언제 어디서나 해당 서비스를 활용하는 유비쿼터스와 시맨틱 웹의 실질적 응용을 거둘 수도 있으리라 사료된다.
