An Estimation for VMS Message Reading Time Considering Traffic Condition and Human Factor (교통상황 및 인적요소를 고려한 도로전광표지 판독소요시간 추정)

  • According to the development of Intelligent Transportation System technology, VMS(Variable Message Signs) are operating on highway. But, VMS display information which don't reflect traffic condition and driver's human factor. So driver can't read VMS message during limited time, it makes to reduce VMS's reliability. This paper presents a model for VMS message reading time and distance considering traffic condition and human factor. We built driving simulator by Winroad package which is able to copy real driving condition. Subjects were comprised of 20 people who reflect domestic driver's condition such as sex. We did regression analysis with experiment results and draw the model. The model could be possible to develop message- set considering traffic condition and human factor.

  • Git's commit message is closely related to the project life cycle, and by this characteristic, it can greatly contribute to cost reduction and improvement of work efficiency by identifying risk factors and project status of project operation activities. Among these related fields, there are many studies that classify commit messages as types of software maintenance, and the maximum accuracy among the studies is 87%. In this paper, the purpose of using a solution using the commit classification model is to design and implement a complex classification model that combines several models to increase the accuracy of the previously published models and increase the reliability of the model. In this paper, a dataset was constructed by extracting automated labeling and source changes and trained using the DistillBERT model. As a result of verification, reliability was secured by obtaining an F1 score of 95%, which is 8% higher than the maximum of 87% reported in previous studies. Using the results of this study, it is expected that the reliability of the model will be increased and it will be possible to apply it to solutions such as software and project management.

  • VMS(Variable Message Sign) which makes the traffic flow smooth by providing traffic information to road users in real-time has been being installed or operated on the road as part of the detailed ITS system. However, some problems were found as a result of survey on express way currently. In the part of the phase operation, the message interpretation time wasn't defined so that the phase operation was difficult. In the part of the information service, not considering characteristic of the VMS section caused the confusion to drivers. In the part of the message exposure, font, alignment, conversion and composition of the information were not consistent and use of superfluous words and inconsistent use of word having the same meaning brought about the problem on information communication This study established the detailed exposure method based on instructions relative to VMS operation. The method established by defining the number of appropriate phase and setting required function of each individual VMS installation location. The method is as follow. the font type is the GULIM, the message conversion method is simple conversion method, the alignment method is centering alignment method and the color is defined according to each situation. In this study, the preference survey was performed to review the validity of the proposed improvement through the common driver. The results were similar with the pre-study except for the font type. This study established the detailed exposure method based on instructions relative to VMS operation. The method established by defining the number of appropriate phase and setting required function of individual VMS installation location. For the evaluation of status and improvement, preference survey of ordinary drivers and statistics analysis was carried.

  • Searching distributed resource efficiently is very important in distributed computing, cloud computing environment. Distributed resource searching may have system overheads and take much time in proportion to the searching number, because distributed resource searching has to circuit many peers for searching information. The open-source community project JXTA defines an open set of standard protocols for ad hoc, pervasive, peer-to-peer computing as a common platform for developing a wide variety of decentralized network applications. In this paper, we proposed peer search algorithm based on JXTA-Sim. original JXTA peer searching algorithm selected a loosely-consistent DHT. Our Lookup algorithm decreases message number of WALK_LOOKUP and reduce the network system overload, and we make a result of same performance both original algorithm and our proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper we introduce the notion of multi-receiver certificateless encryption that avoids the inherent key escrow problem of multi-receiver identity-based encryption, and also present a highly efficient multi-receiver certificateless encryption scheme which eliminates pairing computation to encrypt a message for multiple receivers, Moreover, the proposed scheme only needs one pairing computation to decrypt the ciphertext. Finally, we discuss how to properly transform our scheme into a new public key broadcast encryption scheme for stateless receivers based on the subset-cover framework, which enjoys the advantages of certificateless cryptography.

Development of Code-PPP Based on Multi-GNSS Using Compact SSR of QZSS-CLAS (QZSS-CLAS의 Compact SSR을 이용한 다중 위성항법 기반의 Code-PPP 개발)

  • QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) provides the CLAS (Centimeter Level Augmentation Service) through the satellite's L6 band. CLAS provides correction messages called C-SSR (Compact - State Space Representation) for GPS (Global Positioning System), Galileo and QZSS. In this study, CLAS messages were received by using the AsteRx4 of Septentrio which is a GPS receiver capable of receiving L6 bands, and the messages were decoded to acquire C-SSR. In addition, Multi-GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Code-PPP (Precise Point Positioning) was developed to compensate for GNSS errors by using C-SSR to pseudo-range measurements of GPS, Galileo and QZSS. And non-linear least squares estimation was used to estimate the three-dimensional position of the receiver and the receiver time errors of the GNSS constellations. To evaluate the accuracy of the algorithms developed, static positioning was performed on TSK2 (Tsukuba), one of the IGS (International GNSS Service) sites, and kinematic positioning was performed while driving around the Ina River in Kawanishi. As a result, for the static positioning, the mean RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) for all data sets was 0.35 m in the horizontal direction ad 0.57 m in the vertical direction. And for the kinematic positioning, the accuracy was approximately 0.82 m in horizontal direction and 3.56 m in vertical direction compared o the RTK-FIX values of VRS.

Development of Interactive Content Services through an Intelligent IoT Mirror System (지능형 IoT 미러 시스템을 활용한 인터랙티브 콘텐츠 서비스 구현)

  • In this paper, we develop interactive content services for preventing depression of users through an intelligent Internet of Things(IoT) mirror system. For interactive content services, an IoT mirror device measures attention and meditation data from an EEG headset device and also measures facial expression data such as "sad", "angery", "disgust", "neutral", " happy", and "surprise" classified by a multi-layer perceptron algorithm through an webcam. Then, it sends the measured data to an oneM2M-compliant IoT server. Based on the collected data in the IoT server, a machine learning model is built to classify three levels of depression (RED, YELLOW, and GREEN) given by a proposed merge labeling method. It was verified that the k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) model could achieve about 93% of accuracy by experimental results. In addition, according to the classified level, a social network service agent sent a corresponding alert message to the family, friends and social workers. Thus, we were able to provide an interactive content service between users and caregivers.

  • This paper presents a Web-based interactive and adaptive learning system that helps students learn the pumping lemma for the family of regular languages. Our system allows the students to proceed with their learning according to their individual differences through Web-Based Instruction and gives them opportunities for the interaction so that they can practice exercise related to the learning and gain feedbacks on the results of the exercises immediately. Especially, the system provides adaptive scaffolding that helps learners understand each step for the proof of the pumping lemma. Unlike existing systems that support learning the pumping lemma, the proposed system defines possible errors in advance and provides appropriate messages for corresponding errors. In addition, the system allows the learners to decompose a string into three parts so that they can understand the pumping lemma precisely.

  • Most threats of WLAN are easily caused by attackers who access to the radio link between STA and AP, which involves some Problems to intercept network communications or inject additional messages into them. In comparison with wired LAN, severity of wireless LAN against threats is bigger than the other networks. To make up for the vulnerability of wireless LAN, it needs to use the Intrusion Detection System using a powerful intrusion detection method as SVM. However, due to classification based on calculating values after having expressed input data in vector space by SVM, continuous data type can not be used as any input data. In this paper, therefore, we design the IDS system for WLAN by tuning with SVM and data-mining mechanism to defend the vulnerability on certain WLAN and then we demonstrate the superiority of our method.

  • The ship type identification of the surrounding ship is important information for navigators and VTS officers since they can estimate the maneuverability and near-future route of the ships. However, it is more than frequent that the information is not provided due to transmission trouble and seafarers' unfamiliarity with AIS. Thus, this study suggests predicting ship types through the Random Forest classifier after preparing a training and test dataset that contains ship features and types. The AIS data for Ulsan coast in 2018 was used for this study. The method may provide the effect that many navigators and VTS officers discuss and share the experience of predicting ship types.
