A Study on structures of Archival Contents for Teaching-Learning Materials-Focusing on the TNA of UK and the NARA of USA (교수·학습자료용 기록정보콘텐츠의 구조에 관한 연구 -영국 TNA와 미국 NARA를 중심으로)

  • Archival contents service for education is now a major service program in a foreign National Archives. Therefore We need to study their archival contents services in more depth-analysis methods for the development of our contents. My study is based on the summary of the Homepage Sites for Education of the TNA of UK and the NARA of USA. And also a depth-case study on structures of the samples, 'Coldwar' contents of the TNA and the 'McCarthy' contents of the NARA. As a results, first, the formats of archival contents for teaching-learning materials should be in consistent contents structures like a standard textbooks. Second, archival contents service for teaching-learning materials certainly have to support original images of primary resources and educational kits in order to read easily primary sources. Third, given the costs of development, it's desirable for archive to develop archival contents for teaching-learning materials in the way of cross-use by age and curriculum. Forth, when selecting primary sources for teaching-learning materials, priorities have to be given to the text-sources in the light of learning purposes for history education. Fifth, National archives must develop archival contents for teaching-learning materials in connection with standard curriculums in order to promote a nation-wide use.

A Study on the Structure and Content Analysis of Art Museum Websites in Korea (미술관 웹 사이트의 구조 및 콘텐츠 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze art museum websites and derive implications for future operation of art museum websites. To this end, this research collected basic information about art museums according to '2018 National General Report of Cultural Infrastructure' and investigate the websites of 30 art museums through multi-step sampling process. This study analyzed the structure and menu of the art museum websites as well as the current state of various contents provided by the websites and the search service for the collections offered by the websites. Following sentences are the results. First of all, the art museum websites offer 5.6 top menus on average. Secondly, contents related to art museum, exhibitions, news, education, general forum, and SNS are the basic contents that should be provided on the art museum websites. Third, for contents related to news, education, and events have problems with hierarchical structure and need to be adjusted. Fourth, in the content type, specialized information contents are relatively insufficient and thus need to be improved. Fifth, the art museum websites should give sufficient information about the collection and offer directory searching hat includes keyword searching as well as detail searching service. It is also required to reorganize the directory along with the download function for searched results and the sorting service.

  • This study aimed to analyze the influence relations by applying Q methodology to five-star hotel restaurants' culinary staffs through the research on the subjectivity of five-star hotels' restaurant menu promotion on culinary staffs' job satisfaction and work devotion. This paper largely suggested two research questions like following. Research Question 1: How is the acceptance type of culinary staffs' job satisfaction and work devotion regarding five-star hotels' restaurant promotion? Research Question2: What are the homogeneous characteristics and the implications shown in the acceptance type of culinary staffs' job satisfaction and work devotion regarding five-star hotels' restaurant promotion? In the results of typological analysis based on such research questions, total three types were drawn. In detail, the type1(N=13)(Active personal development type), the type2(N=10)(Normal menu pursuit type), and type3(N=2(Enterprise development pursuit type) showed distinctive characteristics to each other. Researching five-star hotels' culinary staffs' subjective cases, this study could not comparatively analyze diverse cases. Also, in the future, the follow-up research aims to gradually conduct more diversified and objective analysis by developing more detailed questions and analysis method of Q methodology.

  • The desktop interface is not suitable for the environment in which mobile devices are used commonly with moving, because much attention should be paid for it. And the miniaturizing of mobile devices increases the workload for using them, makes the operation speeds lower and makes more errors. So the study of appropriate level of the input interface for this changing environment is needed. In the aspect of mobile devices. input style and the complexity of the menu hierarchy, this study will look for the way to decrease the workload when doing some primary tasks and using mobile devices simultaneously with moving. The input style was classified into gesture input style, button input style, and pointing input style. The accuracy and speed were measured when doing dual tasks, including a menu searching task and a figure memory task, through one input style of three. By Changing the level of menu hierarchy in the menu searching task, the accuracy of task execution was examined. These Experiments were done in standing state and moving state. In both state the pointing input style was the highest in the accuracy of task execution but the slowest in the speed. In contrast, the gesture input style was not high in the accuracy but the fastest in the speed. This fact shows that the gesture input style is suitable for the condition needed for speedy processing rather than accurate execution when moving.

Studies in the Consumption and Preference for Sprout Vegetables (새싹채소의 기호도 및 이용 실태)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the use and perception of adults concerning sprout vegetables. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from 516 residents in the Daegu and Gyeonbuk areas. When purchasing sprout vegetables, respondents answered that they considered freshness, eco green, and price. Consumers purchased sprout vegetables to make bibimbap (58.9%) and salad (29.3%). Approximately 81.4% of respondents answered that they purchased sprout vegetables in grocery and department stores. Once or twice per month was the highest purchase frequency for sprout vegetables. Regarding knowledge of sprout vegetables, radish sprout score was the highest (3.14), whereas preference was highest for barley grass (3.00). When asked how much they like sprout vegetable menus, subjects responded that they liked bibimbap (3.79), salad (3.73) and bibim noodles (3.58). As a result, popularization of sprout vegetables was based on product quality factor and sales promotion factor significantly influenced preference for sprout vegetable menus. To increase consumption of sprout vegetables, there is a need for hygiene and safety of sprout products and variations and improvement of quality.

  • Interest in IPTV content increases, the number of users quickly and easily find the need for an interface that can be consumed as well as the individual's taste is reflected in the menu structure is an emerging demand. Existing IPTV content depending on the browser menu, use the intuitive search criteria are presented differently, this is difficult and not take into account the characteristics of the user by providing an interface for users to interact with the content was limited. In this paper propose According to user requirements in IPTV, regardless of the type of content applicable to the multidimensional contents retrieval browser. This applies equally to the menu category and multidimensional approach based on simple, intuitive and can be used to visualize the content by users without detailed information about the multi-dimensional search to only the desired content will be available for consumption.

  • 본 연구는 HD 복합TV 사용자의 시청행태 및 사용자 니즈 분석을 통해 사용자 시나리오를 도출하여 실제 제품에 적용할 수 있는 DTV 인터페이스 디자인의 일반적인 원리를 발견하고 대형 DTV 화면에 적합한 OSD디자인을 개발하여 디지털 복합 TV에 적합한 새로운 디자인 가이드라인을 제안하는 것을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 DTV 시청환경을 기반으로 PVR, EPF, 녹화, 1394 등 다양한 기능에 대한 사용 시나리오를 정의하고 유저 내비게이션 특성을 반영한 OSD디자인 방향을 검토하였고 개발환경인 50인치 PDP 화면에 적합한 레이아웃을 제작하여 사용자조사를 통해 검증하였다. 사례연구로 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 타임머신 기능 X Canvas PDP의 OSD 디자인을 개발하여 양산용 제품에 적용할 수 있었다. 대표적인 특징으로 복합 TV 의 Gateway 인 홈메뉴, PVR 기능의 핵심인 프로그래스바, 모든 컨텐츠에 일관되게 적용할 수 있는 목록화면, 녹화관련화면에 공통적으로 적용할 수 있도록 폰트,칼라,레이아웃,위젯 정의를 수행하여 각 기능별 화면들이 Package개념으로 Identity를 갖추면서 사용하기 편리하도록 구성하였다. 그리고 이를 통하여 DTV Application Design에 일반적으로 적용할 수 있는 메뉴구조 및 화면디자인 가이드라인을 도출하였고 세계최초로 자사에서 개발한 하드디스크 내장 HD TV Application GUI 의 사용성 및 심미성 측면을 모두 만족시키는 등 DTV GUI 분야에서 주목할 만한 성과를 거두었다.

Concept of Information Architecture on Digital TV based on User Thought (사고 유형에 기초한 디지털 TV 채널 정보구조의 구상)

  • As various convergency products have been actively developed, the study on user interface has been conducted a lot, and for more specific direction, users' experience-oriented user interface from user-oriented studies is recently developed. Such a tendency aiming to focus on product development to express users' emotion, the next step in the user-oriented development had difficulties in an objective approach, so the data based on previous users' experiences were presented as the basic data to establish user interface design process with grounds and design direction, and therefore it is available to show more specific and objective grounds. From this perspective, such psychological variables showing users' experiences like age and job are studied through surveys of users at the development of products, and products according to the variables are released. On the other hand, the products considering psychological difference distinguishing users' experiences as the cultural cap are not progressed yet. Despite the understanding of cultural difference, its decisive grounds are hard to distinguish like age, and job. Therefore, the cognitive concept about how to design menu information structure according to accident types that can be considered regarding user interface design among theoretical backgrounds about cultural difference. As the category according to the range of things among accident types, it is divided into analytical type and relational type to conduct a test on similarity and relations about the representative digital TV's menu information of the convergency product. As the result, analytical type and relational type showed difference and this study aims to use menu information concept considering this difference as explanatory variables of the users' experience-oriented development.

  • 본 논문은 DCS(Dynamic Comprehension System) 정보확장 과정을 어휘 정보의 첨가를 통해 묘사하고자한다. 즉, 현존의 사전정보의 보완작용없이, 시스템을 확장하는 과정이 이 논문에서 보여진다. 새로운 언어정보에 유연하게 대처하기 위해 화자와 청자간의 새로운 지식의 학습과정이 나무구조 형식의 보조메뉴를 통해 상호 교환방식으로 나타내진다. 본 논문은 새로운 지식의 인지과정 중 현존의 정보망(network)에 각 단위망(nection)이 첨가될 때의 과정을 구현시키고자 시도된 것이다.

소규모 한글 선형계획법 소프트웨어 K-LP의 개발

  • 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 경영과학 입문자들이 선형계획 모형 개발 및 해석을 용이하게 할 수 있도록, 사용하기 편리하고 안정된 선형계획법 소프트웨어를 만들었다. 이 소프트웨어는 풀 수 있는 문제의 크기는 50 * 50으로 제한한 반면 한글로 모두 처리되도록 하였으며, 풀다운 메뉴방식으로 user friendly하며, 입문자들이 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 LINDO식 입력방식을 취하였으며, 패키지 내부에 완벽한 Editing 기능을 갖고 있어서 모형의 수정 보완이 매우 편리하게 되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 소프트웨어의 특성과 구조를 살펴본다.
