A Study on the Configuration Management System of Long Span Bridge Using Multi GPS Sensor (멀티 GPS 센서를 이용한 장대교량의 형상관리시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to methodology a system which is able to monitor and configuration management of long span bridge in real time using multi GPS. Through setting up many GPS at the important points of long span bridge and measuring displacement in real time, over all 3D configuration of bridge could be analyzed. Behavior analyzing system developed in this study is able to digitize and visualize the overall and points displacement of bridge and deal with events actively. Also it is able to calculate statistical data related to analyze behavior through the constricting database of measuring data.

  • 본 논문에서는 실외 환경에서 GPS 센서 보다 빠른 주기의 위치 추정 기법을 소개한다. 빠른 제어주기가 필요한 멀티콥터 시스템에서 위치 제어에 GPS 센서를 사용하기 위해서는 상대적으로 느린 GPS 데이터의 출력주기를 보완하는 처리가 필요하다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 오픈소스 프로젝트를 분석하고 활용하여 가능성을 확인하는 선행 연구를 진행하였다. matlab에서 알고리즘을 검증하고 임베디드 장비에 직접 구동해봄으로써 성능을 확인하였다. 이 알고리즘에서는 멀터콥터의 위치 추정 계산을 위해 AHRS, GPS센서, barometer 센서를 사용한다.

  • In order to obtain continuous navigation information at low cost, we demonstrate, in this work, a position system which is constructed by integrating accelerometers with GPS. The proposed system eliminates vibration and noise elements of accelerometers by using Kalman filter. Calculating continuous navigation information is executed by unifying GPS position data and accelerations of moving and centripetal directions which affect the vehicle. Through simulations and experiments, we show that the performance of GPS can be improved by employing accelerometers. Our proposed system can provide stable and seamless position information where the GPS signal is unavailable due to obstruction like tunnels, and high buildings. The designed system can be implemented at low cost of circuit design and production, and satisfy various installation conditions.

  • 본 논문에서는 Trimble Lassen-SK8 GPS 수신기로부터 측정된 위치정보를 수치지도에 표시하고 이로부터 정보안내 시스템을 설계하였다. 이 시스템에서는 특정위치에 대한 안내와 관련된 음성정보를 출력하고 그 지역을 벗어나는 경우에는 정보의 출력을 종료하도록 한다. GPS 의 수신오차는 원의 방정식을 사용하여 범위를 벗어나는 오차발생에 대한 처리가 가능하도록 했으며, 수치지도의 특정위치의 식별을 위해 Bessel TM 좌표를 WGS-84 경위도 좌표로 적용하였다. 본 논문의 결과는 학교안내 시스템에 적용시켰으며, 만족할만한 결과를 보였다.

  • 최근 무선 인터넷 및 다양한 콘텐츠들을 지원할 수 있는 PDA 장비들이 개발되고 있으며, 향후 무선통신분야에서 많은 연구 개발이 필요하다. 또한 PDA 기반의 지리정보시스템에 대한 개발 제품들은 많이 있지만, 아직 개선되어야 할 기능들이 많이 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 PDA 환경에 적합한 경량화된 제이미 수치지도 포맷을 새롭게 제안하고, 이를 Win/CE기반에 디스플레이할 수 있는 GIS 라이브러리를 구현하였다. 현재는 GPS 장비와 개발된 GIS 도구들을 통합하여 PDA 환경에서 지도출력이 가능하며, 속도와 다양한 기능들에 대한 추가 개발을 진행하고 있다.

Anti-interference Methods using Vector-based GPS Receiver Mode

  • The Global Positioning System (GPS) has become popular and widely used in many fields from military to civilian applications. However, GPS signals are suffered from interference due to its weak signal over wireless channel. There are many types of interference, such as jamming, blocking multipath, and spoofing, which can mislead the operation of GPS receiver. In this paper, vector-based tracking loop model with integrity check is proposed to detect and mitigate the harmful effect of interference on GPS receiver operation. The suggested methods are implemented in the tracking loop of GPS receiver. As a first method, integrity check with carrier-to-noise ratio (C/No) monitoring technique is applied to detect the presence of interference and prevent contaminated channels out of tracking channels to calculate position. As a second method, a vector-based tracking loop using Extended Kalman Filter with adaptive noise covariance according to C/No monitoring results. The proposed methods have been implemented on simulated dataset. The results demonstrates that the suggested methods significantly mitigate interference of Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and improve position calculation by 44%.

A Combination Method of Trajectory Data using Correlated Direction of Collected GPS Data (수집한 GPS데이터의 상호방향성을 이용한 경로데이터 조합방법)

  • In navigation systems that use collected trajectory for routing, the number and diversity of trajectory data are crucial despite the infeasible limitation which is that all routes should be collected in person. This paper suggests an algorithm combining trajectories only by collected GPS data and generating new routes for solving this problem. Using distance between two trajectories, the algorithm estimates road intersection, in which it also predicts the correlated direction of them with geographical coordinates and makes a decision to combine them by the correlated direction. With combined and generated trajectory data, this combination way allows trajectory-based navigation to guide more and better routes. In our study, this solution has been introduced. However, the ways in which correlated direction is decided and post-process works have been revised to use the sequential pattern of triangles' area GPS information between two trajectories makes in road intersection and intersection among sets comprised of GPS points. This, as a result, reduces unnecessary combinations resulting redundant outputs and enhances the accuracy of estimating correlated direction than before.

Smart Device Based Localization for Ship Block Logistics

  • In a ship block logistics application, acquisition of locations is required in order to identify location of the ship blocks. A Smart device equipped with a GPS sensor can be used as a mobile client for a ship block logistics application. However the precision of GPS components on a commercial smart device is not high enough. Therefore, using the GPS for localization may produce significant positioning errors in a ship block logistics system. This paper proposes a method to reduce errors in measuring locations using a smart device. Based on the knowledge of how the location information is used in a ship block logistics application, and the predictability of the client's moving line based on geographical layout of a shipyard area, our proposed technique enables a better prediction of the ship blocks location. Performance evaluation shows that the proposed technique can significantly reduce the positional error.

  • 위치기반 서비스는 사용자의 위치를 자동으로 인식하여 사용자의 위치를 고려한 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하며, 일반적으로 위치정보 획득을 위해 GPS(Global Positioning System)를 이용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 GPS 수신기를 통해 수신된 정보로부터 차량의 위치정보를 인식하고, 이를 사전에 설정된 관광 차량의 이동경로와 비교 분석하여 안내 방송이 필요한 각 관광지까지의 거리와 소요시간 등을 실시간으로 인식한다. 또, 이러한 인식결과를 이용하여 사전 또는 실시간으로 설정된 관광지의 멀티미디어 관광 콘텐츠를 영상과 음성으로 재생하여 관광객에게 제공하게 된다. 특히, 각각 사용 언어가 다른 사용자가 동시에 서비스를 이용하더라도 별도의 음성채널을 통하여 서비스를 제공하며, 사용자 수신기에서 채널을 선택하여 이용하므로 사용자 편의성을 높일 수 있다.
