In this paper, we study multiclass loss systems with different server allocation methods. The Markovian states of the systems are defined and their effective representation is investigated. The limiting probabilities are derived based on the Markovian property to determine the performance measures of the systems. The effects of the assignment methods are compared using numerical solutions.

ATM 망에서 이루어지는 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 무선 ATM망에서 지우너하기 위해서는, 단말의 이동에 위해 핸드오프가 일어날 때, 주위 셀의 상태와 다양한 클래스의 트래픽 특성을 고려한 무선 호 수락 제어 문제가 해결되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 셀수준(cell-level)에서 인접 셀의 상태 정보를 이용한 분산 호 수락제어기법(DCA)과 현재 무선 셀에서 발생하는 클래스별 호들에 대한 할당을 위한 자원공유 알고리즘인 Ra방식을 조합하여 멀티 셀 환경에서 멀티 클래스 서비스별 QoS를 고려한 적응적인 무선화 수락제어 기법인 RA-DCA기법을 제안한다. 또한 제안된 호 수락 제어 기법의 성능분석을 위한 모델과 시뮬레이션 결과를 분석하였다.

무선 멀티홉 네트워크에서 멀티미디어 트래픽의 QoS(Quality of Service) 지원을 위하여 EDCA(Enhanced Distributed Channel Access) 기반의 동적 우선순위 할당 기법이 다수 제안되었다. 해당 기법들은 각 홉에서의 최소한의 전송 지연 보장을 위하여 클래스별 예상 지연 시간을 계산한다. 하지만 각 클래스별 예상 지연 시간의 계산은 무선 채널에서의 간섭, 충돌 및 링크 품질에 영향을 받기 때문에 정확한 예측이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 EDCA 기반의 동적 우선순위 할당을 위한 정교한 클래스별 지연 시간 예측 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 무선 채널의 링크 품질과 전송 패킷의 크기를 고려하여 좀더 실제와 유사한 지연 시간을 예측할 수 있다. 실험을 통해 제안하는 기법이 기존의 기법보다 정확성이 높으며 이를 통해 동적 우선순위 할당 기법의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

본 논문은 UML로 모델링 된 Track&Trace 시스템[1]을 확장성과 유연성이 뛰어나며, 웹 상에서 안전하고 신뢰성 있으며 다양하고 광범위한 데이터 교환을 위한 XML로의 설계에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 UML 클래스 다이어그램의 클래스, 멤버 데이터와 데이터 타입을 이용해 Well-Formed XML에서 요소와 컨텐츠로 변환한다. 이러한 XML의 구조를 명확하게 정의하기 위해 클래스 다이어그램의 데이터 타입과 다중성을 이용해 DTD를 설계하고, 동시에 확장성을 갖춘 XML 스키마를 설계한다. 또한, XML 문서와 독립적으로 출력을 위한 스타일 지점인 CSS 와 XSL도 설계한다.

자바는 임베디드 시스템을 프로그램 하기에 매력적인 언어와 플랫폼으로 인식되어져 왔다. 그러나 잉베디드 자바의 메모리와 프로세서 한계점을 가지고 임베디드 자바에 표준 자바 클래스 파일을 적용하기에는 적당하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 타겟디바이스에서 바이트 코드를 수행하기 전에 심볼레퍼런스 정보를 실제 주소로 바꾸기 위해 프리레졸루션을 사용하여 실행시간을 줄일 수 있는 효율적인 메소드를 제안하였다. 클래스 파일에서 컨스턴트풀의 사이즈를 알기 위해서 13개의 클래스 파일들을 시험하였다. 본 프리레졸루션은 원래 사이즈의 92% 정도 전체적인 메모리 footprint를 줄였다. 또한, 메모리 참조 횟수도 감소시켰다.

현재 인터넷은 IPv4주소 고갈로 인해 종래의 클래스(class)별 주소의 분배와 사용을 지양하고 클래스 없는 CIDR(Classless InterDomain Routing)〔1〕방식을 채택하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 라우터의 개발 및 성능에 영향을 미치는 라우팅 엔트리의 분포와 특성을 다음의 세가지 관점에서 분석하였다. 그리고 분석에 사용된 데이터는 백본용 라우터의 라우팅 테이블이다. 첫째, 현재 인터넷에서 CIDR 방식에 따른 서브넷팅(Subnetting)과 슈퍼넷팅(Supernetting)〔2〕〔3〕정도를 분석하였으며 둘째, 현재 포워딩 테이블(Forwarding Table)내의 불필요한 포워딩 엔트리(Forwarding Entry)들이 차지하는 구성비를 조사하였다. 마지막으로는 멀티홈밍(Multi-homing)이 포워딩 테이블의 크기에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 조사에 의하면 MAE-East와 MAE-West〔4〕와 같은 백본(Backbon) 라우터의 경우에 A클래스는 8에서 26비트까지, B클래스는 14비트에서 27비트까지 그리고 C클래스는 17비트에서32비트까지 서브넷팅과 슈퍼넷팅이 되어있다. 또한 불필요한 포워딩 엔트리는 전체 엔트리의약 1%를 차지하고 있으며, 멀티홈밍 엔트리는 약 5%를 차지하는 것으로 확인되었다.

This paper has been designed genius software program model that introducted new class basing the Heurilistic Classification model. In order to implement this model, we have introducted heurilistic class to genius software program. And we compared comparing group with treating group using genius software program and study relationship of creation increase.

Multimedia communication systems are characterized by supporting three different typer of services such as circuit switched services, and packet switched real Lime and non real time services. The wireless channels in a cell ate allocated by calls of these different service classes and the different service requirements have to be met. SRN is an extension of stochastic Petri nets and provides compact Modeling facilities for system analysis. To get the performance index, appropriate reward rates are assigned to its SRN. In this paper, we present a SRN model for performance analysis of channel allocation of multimedia mobile communication systems. The key contribution of this paper constitutes the Petri nets modeling techniques instead of complicate numerical analysis of Markov chains and easy way of performance analysis for channel allocations under SRN rewards concepts.

The standard Java class library does not support the platform-dependent features needed by the application. Therefore, the Java application including the platform -dependent features must supplement the required features by invoking native functions using JNI. The native language programmer has to explicitly specify how to connect to various Java objects and later to disconnect from them. In this paper, I suggest a way to avoid these annoying works. The native method in the pure java class can not contain a native code block. By providing a native code block for the native method, it is possible for programmer to write a native code without being aware of JNI. To achieve this, I introduced the native class that is a java class on the native environment, and made it possible to interchange data by placing an arbitrator between the java class and the native class.

The SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) documents are represented as logical structure information, spatial layout structure information, temporal synchronization structure information and hyperlink structure information, according as the structural characteristics of SMIL documents based on XML. This paper proposes the effective modeling and query method for the multi -structure information of inherent SMIL documents. In particular, we present the object-oriented modeling by using UML class diagram in order to represent the objects classes for the structured information of SMIL documents, and the hierarchical structure and the relationships for the objects classes. In addition, the objects classes definition is specified in compliance with SQL3 for database standard language. We also propose the access method and the query representation for hierarchical structure in order to retrieve efficiently the structural objects of SMIL documents.
