TPEG는 디지털방송 매체를 통해 교통 및 여행정보를 전송하는 표준 프로토콜로 이동환경에서 운전자들에게 실시간으로 교통정보를 제공할 수 있는 킬러 애플리케이션으로 기대를 모으고 있다. 교통정보를 데이터화해 지상파 DMB, DAB 등의 매체를 통해 이용자의 위치와 주변 정보를 실시간으로 전달하는 기술로 데이터의 부호화, 복호화 및 필터링 등 다양한 규격을 포함한다. TPEG는 DMB 등 휴대이동방송이 시작되면서 디지털 방송신호를 통해 개인 단말기에 멀티미디어 교통정보를 제공할 수 있어 최근 각광을 받고 있다. 본 고에서는 TPEG 서비스의 개요 및 개발현황, 사업자들의 TPEG 서비스 추진현황을 살펴보고, TPEG 서비스의 문제점 및 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

무선랜 환경에서는 데이터 링크 레이어의 전달 매체와 물리적 계층이 기존의 유선 네트워크와는 근본적으로 다른 특성을 지닌다. 무선랜 환경에서는 공중망을 전달 매체로 하여 통신이 이루어진다. 그리고 무선랜 환경에서는 단말기들의 이동성에 의해 네트워크 상태가 가변적으로 변하기 때문에, 이러한 환경에서 유선과는 또 다른 보안상의 문제점들을 가지게 된다. 본 논문은 무선 구간에서 유동적으로 발생하는 네트워크의 상태와 정보들을 수집하여 무선 구간에서만 이루어질 수 있는 보안상의 문제점들을 파악하고 대처하는 무선랜 환경에서 상태 정보 수집 에이전트를 설계하고 구현한다.

The prototype of electronic journal is proposed on the notion of functional properties of internet or web. Additionally, the methodology for the friendly relationship between print oriented journal and electronic one is also suggested. The electronic journal is consisted of 6 menus, administration area, community service, what\`s up & current papers. category service, searching and extend retrieval service. And the electronic journal is designed not only on the succession of the attributes of printed journal, but also on tole emphasis of its electrical properties. But at the end of document, it is mentioned that in the near future all the information service related media or mechanisms will be synthesized and uniquely evolved on the succession of those properties.

The purpose of this study is to make out a draft for the standard classification of the National Knowledge and Information Resources. As the result of the Study the standard classification system of the national knowledge and information resources, named "Knowledge Classification 'KC' is suggested. KC consists of 3 classification systems classification by subject, type of resources and type of media. The classification by subject has 12 main classes, and each main class has divisions. Main classes consist each of major discipline or group of related disciplines. The type of resources is classified by 10 types of content, likewise numbered 0-9, and the media of knowledge are classified by 8 types. likewise 0-7. In the Practice the notation always consists of 2 characters and 2 digits. The first character designate main class and the second character designate division. The first number designate the type of resources and the second number designate the type of media.

EPON은 점대다점 구조를 가지기 때문에 ONU에서 OLT로 데이터를 전송하는 상향 트래픽 전송에서 전송매체를 공유함에 따라 충돌이 발생하게 된다. 그러므로 모든 사용자가 공정한 매체 접근 권한을 가지고 경쟁 없이 전송을 하기 위한 매체접근 제어 기술이 필수적이다. RC-DBA 알고리즘은 버스트 트래픽 지원과 ONU들 사이의 공정성 지원 등의 장점을 가진 매체접근 제어 알고리즘이다. 본 논문에서는 RC-DBA 알고리즘을 적용한 OLT와 간단한 ONU를 하드웨어 기술 언어인 Verilog HDL을 사용하여 작성하고 시뮬레이션을 해봄으로써 그 기능을 검증하였다.

본 논문은 현재 개발되고 있는 원격 중환자 관찰 시스템의 부 시스템인 호출 시스템의 호출 매체 결정 알고리즘에 대하여 기술한다. 이 호출 시스템은 중환자실에 입원중인 환자의 상태 변화에 따라 담당 의사나 환자 보호자를 신속하게 연락하는 역할을 담당한다. 전달되는 메시지는 연락 시점과 연락의 긴급성에 따라서 유선전화, 무선전화, 호출기, 전자우편, fax 등의 통신 매체를 한 개 또는 두 개 이상 이용하여 전달된다. 이러한 메시지의 효율적인 전달을 위하여 본 연구에서는 불확실성 추론 방법인 Dempster-Shafer 이론을 이용하여 주어진 상황에서 가장 효과적인 전달 매체를 선택하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. Dempster-Shafer 이론을 사용함으로서, 불확실한 상황에서 효율적이고 합리적으로 메시지 전달 매체를 결정할 수 있다.

인터넷의 발전과 PC의 빠른 보급, 초고속 통신망의 급속한 확산 등에 따라 산업과 마찬가지로 전통적인 교육산업도 큰 변화를 격고 있다. 새로운 개념의 학습 방법인 인터넷이나 매체를 통한 온라인 학습이 오프라인 교육으로 대변되는 기존의 전통적인 교육 매체를 대체할 가능성과 상호보완적인 역할 가능성을 살펴보기 위하여 기존의 전통적인 교육 매체 수용자의 특성과는 다른 양상을 나타낼 온라인 학습 매체 이용자의 만족도와 충족도에 관하여 설문 조사하였다. SPSS 통계 프로그램으로 조사 결과를 분석하였고, 전체적인 신뢰계수는 0.89로 설문 결과의 신뢰성은 높게 나타났다.

So, MAC(Medium Access Control) specified on the wireless ATM networks, which is managing statistics multiplewing functions, idle channel's ultilization is maximized and multimedia service characteristic for conventional wired networks based fixed assignment scheme(connection-oriented) and random assignment scheme(connection-oriented) improving on dynamic reservation based MAC protocol.

멀티미디어 DBMS는 연속매체를 서비스할 때 동시에 보다 많은 사용자들에게 일정한 서비스 품질을 유지하면서 서비스를 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위하여 멀티미디어 DBMS를 위한 저장시스템은 보다 큰 디스크 대역폭을 지원해야 하므로 디스크 배열의 구조를 갖는 것이 바람직하다. 디스크 배열 환경에서 다수의 연속매체를 병행적으로 서비스할 때 요구 데이터를 순차접근에 의하여 검색할 수 있으면 디스크 대역폭을 탐색시간 등으로 소모하지 않으므로 고속 디스크 대역폭을 유지할 수 있다. 또한, 디스크 접근시 디스브 부하 균형을 유지할 수 있으면 자원 활용율이 높은 고성능의 저장 시스템이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 연속매체들을 순차접근에 의해서 처리하면서 디스크 부하 균형을 유지할 수 있는 데이터 배치 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 데이터 배치기법에 의한 성능평가는 모의 실험 전용틀인 AweSim 2.0을 사용하였다.
