시스템다이내믹스를 활용한 마음챙김과 치료관계 간의 동태적 분석 (Dynamic Analysis of Mindfulness and Therapeutic Relationship using System Dynamics)

  • The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Mindfulness on the Therapeutic Relationship using System Dynamics. The biggest factor in psychotherapy's treatment outcome is the Therapeutic Relationship including the quality of the therapist (empathy, therapeutic presence) and therapy alliance. Mindfulness practice can facilitate the therapeutic relationship. In order to analyze the therapeutic relationship, I measure FFMQ(Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire), Empathy, Therapeutic presence and Therapy alliance. Participants consist of 55 mental health professionals (doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, social worker). The result of the study will be explained. First, with the causal loop diagram research, I analyze how mindfulness can influence the quality of therapist and therapy alliance. The result of literature research indicate that mindfulness increase therapist's empathy, congruence, therapeutic presence, flow, therapy alliance. And then mindfulness reinforces the ability of therapeutic relationship. Secondly, through the real data research and simulation analysis, mindfulness practicing period (year and hour a day) of therapist is studied. The result of the therapist experiencing mindfulness practice period is over 5 years and the daily hours of practice is 2 - 2.5 hours in order to enhance the therapeutic relationship. After reviewing the result of the research it is important to understand the practicing period and daily practice of mindfulness. With daily practice and time, the level of mindfulness will increase and influence positively the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client.

정신건강의학과 외래에서 시행한 마음챙김 명상 프로그램이 우울 및 불안장애 환자들의 긍정자원과 긍정정서에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Mindfulness Meditation on Positive Resources and Positive Affects in Outpatients with Depressive Disorder and Anxiety Disorder)

  • Objectives : Mindfulness meditation has recently become a major component in mainstream modern cognitive behavioral therapy. The purpose of this study was to examine effects of a mindfulness meditation program on positive resources of outpatients with depressive disorder and anxiety disorder. Methods : Participants were 55 psychiatric clinic outpatients. Participants received eight weekly sessions in a mindfulness meditation training program, that was approximately 90 minutes each. Measures included the Positive Resources Test (POREST), Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-16 (AAQ-16), Life Satisfaction Expectancy Scales (LSES), and Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS). Variables were measured at two time points : pre- and post-implementation (eight weeks later). Results : Paired t-test results of participants before and after the mindfulness meditation program revealed statistically significant improvement in positive resources (t=-5.847, p<.001), acceptance (t=-4.090, p<.001), life satisfaction expectancy (t=-3.892, p<.001), but not in subjective happiness. Conclusion : Results suggest mindfulness meditation may be effective to enhance positive resources, acceptance, and life satisfaction in outpatients with depressive disorder and anxiety disorder. Mindfulness meditation may be a factor in improving psychological well-being and positive psychological features in outpatients with depressive disorder and anxiety disorder.

마음챙김기반 스트레스 완화 프로그램이 소아·청소년 정신질환자 어머니의 지각된 스트레스 및 우울에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Korean Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Program on Perceived Stress and Depression for Mothers of Children and Adolescents with a Mental Disorder)

  • Purpose: This study applied the Korean Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (K-MBSR) program for mothers of children and adolescents with mental illnesses, and verified its effectiveness on perceived stress and depression based on the Middle-range theory of caregiver stress. Methods: A quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group pre-post test design was used. The K-MBSR program was reconstructed with experts' advice to adjust subjects' characters. Using a group approach, sessions were conducted once a week for six weeks, and each session took 2.5 hours. Results: The experimental group did not show a significant decrease in perceived stress than the control group. However, the experimental group showed a significant decrease in depression than the control group. Conclusion: The K-MBSR program was effective for depression. Future studies on high-stress groups or with an extended program are necessary to clarify the effects of the K-MBSR program on perceived stress. These results are consistent with the middle-range theory of caregiver stress, the theoretical framework of this study. When caregivers have similar inputs, proper intervention can change the control process. Further, it can be assumed that this change positively affects the output.

임상간호사의 직무 스트레스와 행복감의 관계에서 마음챙김과 성장마인드셋의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Mindfulness and Growth Mindset on the Relationship between Occupational Stress and Happiness among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the mediating effects of mindfulness and growth mindset on the relationship between occupational stress and happiness among clinical nurses. Methods: The participants were 220 clinical nurses working in two hospitals in D city. Self-report questionnaires were used to collect the data, which were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, hierarchical multiple regression, and Sobel test. Results: Occupational stress had significant negative correlations with happiness, mindfulness, and growth mindset. On the other hand, mindfulness and growth mindset had significant positive correlations with happiness. Meanwhile, partial mediating effects of mindfulness and growth mindset were found on the relationship between occupational stress and happiness. Conclusion: Mindfulness and growth mindset can play an important role in buffering the negative influence of occupational stress on the happiness of clinical nurses. Therefore, interventions that ease occupational stress and encourage mindfulness and growth mindset are recommended to increase happiness among clinical nurses.

상급종합병원 간호사의 마음챙김, 회복탄력성, 조직몰입이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Mindfulness, Resilience, and Organizational Commitment on Nursing Performance of Nurses in a Tertiary Hospital)

  • Purpose: The study aim was to investigate factors affecting factors nursing performance. Methods: This descriptive correlation study examined degree of mindfulness, resilience, organizational commitment, and nursing performance in order to confirm the correlation between variables and their effects on nursing performance. Study participants were 193 nurses who had more than 1 year of work experience at a tertiary hospital. The data were collected from March to April 2022 using structured self-reported questionnaires. SPSS/WIN 25.0 program was used to analyze the data. The statistical significance of the mediating effects were verified by applying PROCESS Macro. Results: Resilience, health state, total clinical career years, and organizational commitment were identified as factors affecting nursing performance, with the model explaining 51.6% of outcomes. Resilience had a complete mediating effect on the relationship between mindfulness and nursing performance. Conclusion: To improve nursing performance, various education and training must be developed and implemented to strengthen resilience. Additionally, it will be helpful to apply a mindfulness-based program to improve resilience. Further, designing various measures to improve the work environment and increase organizational commitment is recommended.

주요우울장애 환자의 우울증상에 대한 마음챙김 기반의 치료적 개입의 효과에 관한 메타분석 (The Therapeutic Effect of Mindfulness-Based Interventions on Depressive Symptoms in Patients With Major Depressive Disorder: A Meta-Analysis)

  • Objectives We conducted a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials to investigate the therapeutic effects of mindfulness-based interventions on depressive symptoms in patients with major depressive disorder. Methods In February 2021, we searched Embase, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, PsycINFO, CINAHL, and AMED. Under the guidance of the corresponding author, two evaluators independently reviewed and selected articles based on predetermined selection criteria. Results Based on the selection criteria, we systematically screened and included a total of 12 randomized controlled trials comprising 720 cases for the final analysis. Utilizing a random-effects model for data analysis, we determined the Hedges' g value to be 0.787, indicating a medium-sized effect according to Cohen's interpretation. The 95% confidence interval for the effect size ranged from 0.414 to 1.160 (p-value < 0.0001). Conclusions This study reveals the potential effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions in treating depressive symptoms among patients with major depressive disorder.

마음챙김 호흡과 신체이완이 여성노인의 주의집중력에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis on the Effects and Influences of Mindfulness Based Breathing and Body Scan for Elderly Women's Attentive Concentration)

  • 본 연구는 마음챙김 호흡과 신체이완이 여성노인의 주의집중력에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하기 위하여 객관적이고 정량적인 2-channel system EEG(electroencephalogram: EEG)를 통해 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 김포시에 거주하는 65세이상 여성노인 60명으로 그중 30명은 실험집단으로, 30명은 통제집단으로 선정하였다. 프로그램 실시 전과 후에 EEG를 측정하였다. 연구기간은 2013년 3월에서 2013년 7월까지 이며, 프로그램은 주 1회, 회기 당 60분씩, 총 16주 동안 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 실험집단에서 주의지수 우뇌(69.61/70.85, p<.024), 주의지수 비율 좌뇌(4.22/3.75, p<.037), 주의지수 비율 우뇌(4.29/3.70, p<.019)로 나타났다. 주의지수는 주의집중력 등 각성상태를 나타내는 지수이다. 따라서 마음챙김 호흡과 신체이완이 여성 노인의 주의집중력을 향상시킬 수 있는 실천적인 방법으로서 효용과 가치가 있다는 것을 뇌과학적으로 분석한 것에 의의가 있다.

간호업무 현장에서의 태움 예방 및 극복방안: P-S-O-R 프레임워크를 기반으로 (Prevention and Overcoming Strategies for Taeoom in the Nursing Workplace: Based on the P-S-O-R Framework)

  • 최근 간호인력들의 높은 이직률과 직무스트레스 증가로 인한 문제가 사회적 이슈로 크게 부각되며, 간호 조직 내의 '태움' 문제에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구는 간호업무 현장에서의 괴롭힘을 포함한 태움 문제에 대한 해결책 모색이 시급한 상황에서 이 문제에 대한 예방 및 극복방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 S-O-R 프레임워크 및 선행연구를 기반으로 직무스트레스 및 이직의도를 태움의 결과변수로, 커뮤니케이션능력을 선행요인으로 도출하였으며, 이러한 태움의 영향 메커니즘에서 마음챙김과 사회적지지가 문제 극복을 돕는 조절변수 역할을 수행할 것으로 보고 연구모형을 구성하였다. 최근 1년 내 태움을 경험한 간호인력 300명을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하고, 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 가설을 검증한 결과, 간호인력의 커뮤니케이션능력이 높을수록 태움 피해를 적게 인지하는 것으로 나타났으며, 태움으로 인한 피해는 높은 직무스트레스를 거쳐 이직의도로 이어진다는 사실을 밝혀내었다. 또한, 마음챙김과 사회적지지는 각각 태움이 직무스트레스에, 직무스트레스가 이직의도에 미치는 정(+)의 영향을 유의하게 약화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존의 S-O-R 프레임워크에서 사전예방 단계를 추가하여 확장된 P-S-O-R 프레임워크를 제안하였으며, 추가로 마음챙김과 사회적지지 변수의 조절효과를 검증했다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 본 연구결과를 통해 실무에 적용 가능한 태움 예방 및 극복방안 마련을 위한 구체적인 지침을 제시할 수 있기를 기대한다.

간호대학생의 우울, 스트레스, 불안, 마음 챙김에 관한 연구 (Depression, Stress, Anxiety and Mindfulness in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to explore the relationship of depression with stress, anxiety and mindfulness in nursing students in 2010. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used and data was collected through structured questionnaires. Depression, stress, anxiety, and mindfulness were measured by using the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS) and the Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS). The data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: A total of 131 nursing students participated in this study. Depression was positively associated with stress (r=.81, p<.001) and anxiety (r=.76, p<.001), and negatively associated with mindfulness (r=-.73, p<.001). Multiple regression analyses showed that in different type of residence, anxiety and mindfulness were statistically significant predictors of depression with explanatory power of 67%. Conclusion: When nurse instructors manage depression among nursing students, the strategies need to address stress, anxiety, and mindfulness. This study may help nursing students to better manage their depression.

한국판 비집착 척도의 신뢰도 및 타당도 연구 (Study on the Reliability and Validity of Nonattachment Scale)

  • 본 연구에서는 비집착을 측정하는 도구로 개발된 Sahdra 등(2010)의 비집착척도(Scale to measure Nonattachment)를 국내 문화에 적합하게 번안하여, 한국판 비집착척도(K-Nonattachment Scale)를 구성하였고 이 척도에 대한 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과, K-NAS는 내적 합치도 계수(${\alpha}$)가 .94로 높게 나타났고, 문항- 총점 간 상관 계수도 .32에서 .69 정도로 나타났다. 탐색적 요인 분석 결과, 이 척도는 단일 요인 모델로 전체 변량의 37.77%를 설명하였다. 확인적 요인 분석결과 1요인 모델의 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 공존타당도 및 변별타당도를 살펴보기 위해 관련 척도와 상관분석을 한 결과 우울과는 부적인 상관을 보였으며, 경험척도, 자기자비, 심리적 안녕감, 마음챙김 척도와는 정적 상관을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 한국판 비집착척도는 심리측정적으로 매우 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도임이 확인되었다. 마지막으로 연구 결과의 의의와 추후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
