Korea's construction industry experienced no difficulty managing the costs of finishing work items in the apartment housing field thanks to the uniform specification and the standardized costs of finishing work items. Finishing work items have continuously become more high class and differentiated, which has caused the costs of finishing work items to rise. This study identified problems with the cost management when planning finishing work items and choosing their alternatives based on the current process applied to the planning stage of finishing work items. It also found problems with the information management of finishing work items including design, cost, and work information that took place in bulk. Based on the identified problems, the design, cost and work information of finishing work items was integrated so that they could management the costs and information when planning finishing work items and selecting their alternatives. Then a cost-based information management process was suggested for finishing work items by improving each of the project cost management elements. Finally, an information model for finishing work items was built by studying the ways to integrate the information hierarchy and library of finishing work items.

In this study, a linearized super-cavitation theory was applied in order to analyse the performance of the 2-dimensional foils. For flat plate with non-thickness, the numerical results correlated very well with Nishiyama's theoretical results for closed cavitation model. For plano-convex section, the numerical results correlated very well with Wade's experimental data. The new lifting surface procedure, developed and validated in this study, is generally considered applicable to the performance analyses of the super-cavitating propeller and trans-cavitating propeller.

Despite the importance and function of productivity information, in the Korean construction industry, the method of collecting and analyzing productivity data has not been organized. Also, in most cases, productivity management is reliant on the experience and intuitions of field managers, and productivity data are rarely being utilized in planning and management. Accordingly, this study intends to develop a prediction model for interior finishes of apartment using deep learning techniques, so as to provide a foundation for analyzing the productivity impacting factors and predicting productivity. The result of the study, productivity prediction model for interior finishes of apartment using deep learning techniques, can be a basic module of apartment project management system by applying deep learning to reliable productivity data and developing as data is accumulated in the future. It can also be used in project engineering processes such as estimating work, calculating work days for process planning, and calculating input labor based on productivity data from similar projects in the past. Further, when productivity diverging from predicted productivity is discovered during construction, it is expected that it will be possible to analyze the cause(s) thereof and implement prompt response and preventive measures.

At the completion of the construction, various finishing processes are concentrated. This imposes a burden on the on-site manager and imposes on experience based quality control, thereby causing deviations in the quality of construction depending on supervisor or worker's individual competence. In addition, the information related to quality control is frequently scattered in various types of documents such as specifications and drawings, and checkpoints are frequently omitted. It is necessary to provide a tool that can effectively provide the practitioner before or during the inspection work by systematically storing the information related to the defect prevention and linking them in a mutually referential state. This paper proposes an quality inspection support model that can systematically store necessary information on activity or room basis for the quality check of the apartment house finishing work. Establish a defect prevention information base and a information nexus by linking specifications, design standards, checklists, regulations, defect cases, and drawings to the finishing process and the rooms. Based on this, information registration and search interface are presented. It can contribute to securing a certain level of construction quality or more by suggesting a frame that can be utilized by linking various defects prevention information with the focus on closing activity and room.

Construction industry throughout the construction projects life cycle using BIM is able to manage information. Among them, BIM-based quantity take-off is directly connected to the data of the construction business as an important management element that is essential for one of the management factors of feasibility study and economic analysis. In addition, the result of BIM-based quantity take-off can be varied depending on modeler, so the exact guideline for BIM modeling is necessary. The BIM-based quantity take-off in terms of reliability and accuracy of the information is very important. Therefore, this study verified the BIM modeling of the apartment interior materials using both separate object and composite object was validated the quantitative comparison of the difference in BIM-based quantity take-off for accuracy & reliability judgment of BIM-based quantity take-off and realistic & desirable suggestion of BIM modeling way. As the result of this study, it is preferable to model various interior materials to use separate object for the purpose of correct BIM-based quantity take-off, but the realistic way of the BIM modeling using both separate object and composite object jointly was verified in order to judge BIM-based quantity take-off in terms of work productivity.

Demolition work is a precedence activity that is performed earlier than other remodeling activities. And demolition work is one of the critical path activities. So, demolition work is needed for systematic plan and management. However, contractors of the remodeling project established a rough plan and did not consider recycling wastes, safety of workers and structural stable of building. To improve this problem, a eco-friend process model of remodeling project is needed to be established. The process model is composed of five phases; 1) survey and analysis of general condition of demolition work, 2) prepare documents of demolition work 3) establishing demolition work plan, 4) demolition and inspection, 5) post-demolition management. Especially, demolition documents are based on establishing WBS, selecting the equipment and method, waste management and structure reinforcement. A process model of eco-friend demolition work is developed by using IDEF0 method.

The repair and maintenance cost of domestic public rental housing is an issue of considerable interest and growing financial concern. This paper suggests a quantity-based model as an alternative method for predicting costs, instead of the conventional model which is based on actual cost data. Furthermore, this paper provides a forecast of the repair costs incurred each year during the multi family house's maintenance phase (40 years). The recently changed the long-term repair plan and quality-improved interior materials were considered into the research. In order to estimate the cost of maintenance work, 5 sample apartments were selected and analyzed. The repair and maintenance cost from the case studies was converted to cost per household and per floor area for general use. On the other hand, the net present value method was applied to reflect the effect of time. We expect that the results will help to establish expenditure plans that are more effective for public rental housing in the maintenance stage.
