시각장애인은 주변 인지 장애로 정보 습득이 어렵고, 공간 정보 습득에 있어서 제약이 있는 신체조건으로 이동에 불편을 겪는다. 또한 특정 상황에서 적절한 분위기를 인지하고 그에 맞는 대응을 하기가 어렵다. IoT 시대에 맞춰 홈 네트워크 시스템이 널리 보급되어지는 추세이지만, 여전히 시각장애인이 사용하기에는 많은 어려움이 있고, 불편을 호소하는 게 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시각장애인을 위해 스마트폰을 이용해 음성으로 집안의 사물을 원격 제어하는 구글 음성인식 홈 리모트 컨트롤 시스템을 제안한다.

A finger-gesture remote controller using the single camera is implemented in this paper, which is base on the recognition of finger number and finger moving direction. Proposed method uses the transformed YCbCr color-difference information to extract the hand region effectively. The number and position of finger are computer by using a double circle tracing method. Specially, a user continuous-command can be performed repeatedly by recognizing the finger-gesture direction of single shape. The position information of finger enables a user command to amplify a same command in the User eXperience. Also, all processing tasks are implemented by using the Intel OpenCV library and C++ language. In order to evaluate the performance of the our proposed method, after applying to the commercial video player software as a remote controller. As a result, the proposed method showed the average 89% recognition ratio by the user command-mode.

Staging technique is used to provide files for a job in the Grid. If a staged file has large volume, the start time of the job is delayed and the throughput of job in the Grid may decrease. Therefore, removal of staging overhead helps the Grid operate more efficiently. In this paper, we present two methods for efficient file provisioning to clear the overhead. First, we propose RA-RFT, which extends RFT of Globus Toolkit and enables it to utilize RLS with replica information. RA-RFT can reduce file transfer time by doing partial transfer for each replica in parallel. Second, we suggest Remote Link that uses remote I/O instead of file transfer. Remote link is able to save storage of computational nodes and enables fast file provisioning via prefetching. Through various experiments, we argue that our two methods have an advantage over existing staging techniques.

Mobile multimedia services such as TV-call or video streaming are gradually becoming popular in the 3rd or more generation mobile network (IMT-2000). Multimedia traffic is expected to continue increasing into the coming years, and IP technology is considered to be the efficient way of transporting such huge volumes of multimedia traffic. IP-based IMT network platform represents an evolution from IMT-2000. The structure of IP-based IMT network as ubiquitous platform is three-layered model : Middleware including Network Control PlatForm (NCPF) and Service Support PlatForm (SSPF), IP-BackBone (IP-BB), access network including sensor network. Mobility Management (MM) architecture in NCPF is proposed for IP-based IMT network in order to manage routing information and location information separately. The generous existing method of multicast control in IP-based IMT network is Remote Subscription. But Remote Subscription has problem that should be reconstructed whole multicast tree when sender in multicast tree moves to another area. To solve this problem, we propose the way to put Multicast-manager in NCPF.

에너지와 환경을 조화시킨 자원순환형 사회의 실현을 위해 하수처리장에서도 하수열이나 소화가스 등의 미이용(未利用)네어지의 유효활용이 기대되고 있다. 소화가스는 하수처리장에서 발생하는 에너지 중에서는 큰 비중을 차지하고 있으나 소화조의 가온을 위해 사용되고 있는 정도로 반드시 유효하게 활용되고 있다고는 말할 수 없다. 또 가스엔진의 코제너레이션에 의해 유효하게 할용되고 있는 처리장도 있으나 메인터넌스 비용 등의 문제로 보급되고 있지 않은 것이 실제의 상황이다. 한편, 마이크로가스터빈은 그 구조의 심풀성 때문에 가스엔진과 비교하여 메인터너스 비용의 저감이 기대되고 있어, 소화가스를 연료로 하는 코제너레이션 시스템으로서 앞으로의 보급이 기대되는 발전시스템이다. 그래서 소화가스의 마이크로가스터빈용 연료로서의 적용을 위한 검증과 운영상의 과제를 밝힐 것을 목적으로 북견시 정화센터의 처리장 내에 설치하여 실증시험을 하고 있다. 지금까지 약 4,000시간의 운전실적에서 소화가스에 기인하는 본질적인 문제도 없고 시스템이 안정되게 동작하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 실증시험설비에는 마이크로가스터빈의 운전상태를 24시간 리모트 감시하는 리모트감시장치를 설치하고 있는데, 운전데이터의 파악과 이상 발생시의 고장진단/기술검토에 유효하게 사용되었다.

Wii Remote is the primary controller for Nintendo's Wii console. A main feature of the Wii Remote is its motion sensing capability, which allows the user to interact with and manipulate items on screen via movement and pointing through the use of accelerometer and optical sensor technology. Another feature is its expandability through the use of Bluetooth. In this Study, use of motion sensors and Bluetooth capabilities. The user holding the remote on the screen, pointing to receive information about the values of the coordinates on the screen indicating the drawing of the implementation.
