노후 공동주택 리모델링 수직증축분 소형 평면 계획에 대한 연구 (A Study on Small Size Plans of Vertical Extension Remodeling for Aged Apartment)

  • This study suggested practical considerations in case of planning Small-Sized Household Units of the Vertical Extension of Aged Apartment along with selecting particular Age-Apartment Complex to plan Small-Sized Household Units. Four parts of consideration; (1) Architectural planning aspects, (2) Resident aspects, (3) Structural aspects, and (4) Facility aspects were thoroughly examined to apply in the remodeling construction period. Proposals for Small-Sized Household Units, in this study, covered two different combinations. One was the combination of six equal units, the other was the combination of eleven different types of household units which reflected resident aspects in plan organizations. Plan organization proposal could be chosen and applied to Vertical Extended units by Local Government, Remodeling Association, or Constructor based on their potential residents' aspect, such as family size, life style, age, amount to income and etc. to fulfill their satisfaction. Furthermore, this study had great significance of the adequately reflecting demand on Small-Sized Household Units in Vertical Extension of Aged Apartment.

  • The purpose of the study is to survey the needs of the elderly for ICT-based Elderly Home Remodeling by Applying Kinetic Principle. This is conducted for elderly people over 60 years old living in Seoul and Gangreung district. The study is performed by the following approaches: First, This study is based on 'the Elements of Planning for ICT-based elderly Home Remodeling by applying Kinetic Principle'(Lee 2018). Second, the needs survey for house remodeling was conducted for elderly. Finally, To analyze the required characteristics of the elderly for remodeling by using SPSS statistics 25 analysis program. The conclusion of this study is as follows. Priority elements for house remodeling should be provided to ensure the safety of the elderly through emergency call buttons, glucometer, pressure-measuring gauge, weighing instruments, and warning devices. Kinetic principles should be applied to make minimal structural changes, as easy as possible remodeling, and devices should be designed to be easy to operate.

노후 공동주택 리모델링 계획안 거주민 선호도 연구 (A Study on the Residents' Preference on Apartment Remodeling Proposals)

  • This study analyzes the residents' preference of apartment unit remodeling proposals for the 3-bay old apartments built in the 1st phase New Town. The remodeling unit plans were previously developed for a 3-bay large-sized unit plan (over 85m2) and a 3-bay medium-sized unit plan (60~85m2). Surveys and interview were conducted with the residnets of the two apartment complexes in Bundang. The contents of the questionnaire consisted of the preferred plan, the reason for the preference, the improvement factors, etc. A total of 88 questionnaires were received. It was found that two-thirds of respondents favored the general 3LDK format, where living rooms and kitchens were located in the middle of the front and rear bay. The one-third of the respondents favored a plan combining the living room and the kitchen in the front. It was also found that the limitation of the remodeling unit plan caused by the location of existing bearing walls should be carefully considered, and that many residents asked additional storage space.

  • The purpose of this project is to greatly elevate the image of a high-technology wireless communication company by improving its office space environment through remodeling techniques. In order to accomplish this goal, the design concept was established in the direction of harmonious beauty with maximized functionality and aesthetics. Specifically, an efficient traffic line was planned in consideration of the connectivity between mutual spaces, and smooth yet strong formal aesthetics was given to such things as planes, frontal surfaces, and ceiling design, so as to do away with the existing authoritarian atmosphere and create an image of a futuristic company.

  • The elementary schools constructed before 1990's are old fashioned and have limitation in corresponding to 7th education curriculum and social demands. So remodelling of existing elementary schools is increasingly popular to satisfy the new need, but it is true that the decision of remodelling has been made by the authority of the administrative and the most of remodelling results have shown the simple increasing of spaces. So this research is trying to suggest an evaluation index model for judging whether school buildings should be remodelled or not, and what parts should be remodelled in the aspects of architectural planning by extracting 4 space planning elements; function, requirement, activity, arrangement and grading rates on these elements.

  • This study aimed to examine the possibility of remodeled nursing home utilizing a closed school in Kunsan, where the number of closed schools increases and the ratio of elderly population grows. Major contents of research were understanding architectural characteristics of closed school and elderly housing in the sample area, and a suggestion of remodeling a closed school into nursing home. Conclusions can be summarized as follows; understanding the high ratio of elderly population and increases of closed schools in sample area, verification of overall possibility in remodeling a closed school into elderly facility, confirmation of availability in changing regular class room to residential rooms, and some proposals of principal points in floor planning - homelike atmosphere by small scaled residential units(10 persons), spatial hierarchy for residents' mental comfort, sliding door for accessibility, kitchen and dining space in residential unit for the residents' participation in houseworks.

  • In this study, we propose a way of infill unit-modular construction for school facilities and identify the main effect factors when planning a remodeling of the school facilities by using infill unit-modular construction. This study is limited to have document for domestic infill modular construction such as technical data, knowhow due to fewer cases and research. we expect to study on an practical alternative for infill modular housing specifically.

  • Various acts, regulations and rules on the Apartment remodelling are established in Korea. Because, of these acts, reconstruction of Apartment is restrained and on the contrary Remodelling of Apartment is cumins issue. But, because of agreement of all resident for Apartment remodelling and a rule for the development restrict permission, extension of apartment is actually impracticable. Therefore, various regulations on the remodelling is investigated, problems on the current remodelling system are analysed, and improving system for activating apartment remodeling is suggested in this study.

And it has become necessary to consider Environmental performance in Building remodeling. Consideration of converting buildings into Environment-Friendly Remodeling of Office Buildings makes more and more increased in our construction compatibility. This Study is intended to increase the designer' recognition of Environmental Performance Improvement in the feasibility analysis and schematic design of Office Building Remodeling and to provide Planning Data and Guidance. In this context, this study is focused on the "planning Guidance for Environmental Friendly Remodeling". Through this study, the flow of Environmental Design and Construction is elevated reaching the level in developed country.

공동주택의 환경친화적 리모델링 계획 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Green Remodeling Methods of Apartment Houses)

  • This study aims to propose Green Remodelling methods of apartment houses in Korea. Through the literature review and case studies various 'Green' Remodelling elements including environmental friendly technologies were identified and classified. Design strategies and remodeling techniques which could increase energy efficiency, reduce water and resource use, improve air qualify, improve landscape management, and improve maintenance were also investigated. Then, 'Green remodelling' methods of apartment houses are proposed as the des19n methodology of remodeling for sustainable development. The green Remodeling design methods and elements proposed by this study are proved to be simple, easy and flexible ways to enhance the environmental sustainability of the existing building.
