A Study on the Effect of the Superiors' Leadership Type on Job Satisfaction of University Librarians (상사의 리더십 유형이 대학도서관 사서들의 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out how the leadership of superiors at the university library - transformational and transactional leadership - could affect the job satisfaction of subordinates. For this purpose, verification was performed with the subject of 155 librarians working at 11 university libraries in Busan. The following are the results of this study. 1) There was positive correlation between the leadership type of superiors and the job satisfaction of subordinates. Transformational leadership turned out to have higher correlation with job satisfaction than transactional leadership. 2) Intellectual stimulation·inspiration affects promotion practices and supervision style. 3) When analyzing the controlling effect of individual characteristics, only gender and marital status are used as a controlling variables between transformational leadership and job satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore organizational integration of library and computing center in university. In order to analyze the organizational integration and separation, the study employed case method. In this research I concentrated on three areas: the goal and background of organizational integration, the leadership of CIO and the conflict in resources and cultural differences between the library and the computing staff.

  • As the construction management(CM) market has grown, so has the CM competition in the market place. Consequently, competent construction managers become a core part of CM firms' competitiveness. The objective of the study is to identify and discuss core competencies of construction mangers based on literature survey, Delphi Method and AHP. Among various competencies required for construction managers, skills for problem solving, trust and negotiation skills were identified as the crux of construction managers' competencies. A better understanding of construction managers' core competencies is very critical in terms of CM firms' training of construction managers and continuos self-improvement for construction managers.

  • 용접기술은 두 가지 재료를 효율적으로 신뢰성 있게 접합시킬 수 있기 때문에 다른 어떤 기술보다 널리 사용되고 있으며, 높은 부가가치를 가져다 준다. 용접계에서는 용접이 국내 산업에 아주 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다고 생각하고 있으며, 이제 21세기에 접어들어서 우리 용접계의 현위치를 파악하고 새로운 장을 열어야 할 때이다. 미국에서도 이러한 준비의 일환으로 에너지성(Department of Energy)의 주도하에 Welding Vision 2020라는 명제를 걸 고 용접분야의 장래에 대한 심포지움과 토의를 하였다. 이 토의의 중심 주제는 20년 후의 용접계의 위상을 그려보며 장기적 연구 분야, 산학계의 정책 방향 등을 모색하였다 여기서 모아진 의견은, 용접계의 발전적인 진전을 위해서는 향후 2020년까지 다음과 같은 숙제들을 극복해야 된다는 것이었다 많은 산업분야에서 용접이 생산 분야의 주된 작업으로 인식시키는 것 - 용접이 용접 기능사의 재능에 의존도를 줄이고 과학적인 용접 기술 도입과 용접 기능사의 체계적 훈련 - 용접 작업환경 개선 - 용접을 과학적 고기술이라는 것으로 일반인들의 인식을 변화 시킴 - 신소재 개발연구시 용접이 같이 고려될 수 있는 환경 조성 - 훌륭한 인재 양성 및 재교육. 본고에서는 미국 용접계에서 분석한 자료들과 장래 연구되어져야 할 방향 및 분야들을 소개하고 현재 진행중인 자료 수집 및 분석의 진행 상황 및 용접계의 현 위치를 파악할 수 있는 몇 가지 자료들을 소개한다. 아울러, 용접계에서 리더쉽을 발휘해야 될 분야중의 하나이며 현재 많은 전문연구가 필요한 용접 역학(Welding Mechnics) 중의 용 접부의 안정성 평가(Integrity Assessment of Welded Joint)에 대한 과제와 연구 동향을 소개하고자 한다.

  • 지난 4월 1일 제주도 한라산 정상에 135명의 한국물류정보통신 임직원은 결연한 마음으로 한자리에 모여, '주식회사 케이엘넷'이라는 새로운 사명과 함께 글로벌 물류 IT전문 기업으로 도약하고자 하는 사명선포식을 가졌다. 주식회사 케이엘넷(KL-Net)의 사명 변경은 지난해 임직원이 심기일전 하여 수립한 '비젼 2020 - 세계적인 물류 IT 전문기업'으로의 도약을 위한 서막에 불과하다. 지난 2004년 3월, 주식회사 케이엘넷은 "채무부정보증"이라는 뼈아픈 금융사고가 있었다. 이로 인해 임직원간의 불신은 극에 달했고, 그 당시 100억원이라는 손실액은 기업 존폐의 기로에까지 놓이게 되었다. 케이엘넷의 대표이사로 부임한 박정천 대표사에게는 금융사고 관련 소송뿐만 아니라 기업 정상화라는 두 가지의 막중한 과제를 해결해야 하는 큰 역할이 주어 졌다. 박 사장은 먼저 금융사고로 야기된 임직원간의 불신을 해소하는데 노력했다. 임직원의 생일이나 결혼기념일 등을 본인이 직접 축하 메세지를 보내는 것부터 시작하여, 임직원간 친밀감을 갖도록 노력하고 서로 신뢰하고 믿고 따를 수 있도로 하는 한편, 직원들에게 정직을 더욱 강조하였다. 지난 3월 정기 주주총회에서 케이엘넷 주주들은 어려운 과제를 깔끔하게 해결한 박 대표를 연임시켰다. 박 대표의 지난 2년간의 공로와 앞으로 케이엘넷을 '세계적인 물류 IT전문기업'으로 성장시킬 수 있다는 리더쉽을 높이 평가한 것이다. 당장의 사업성과보다는 회사의 경쟁력과 성장기반을 다지는 것을 최우선 과제로 지난해 임직원과 함께 수립한 '비젼 2020'을 향하여 전력 질주하고 있는 주식회사 케이엘넷 박정천 대표이사를 만나본다.

  • In this paper, we implemented the intelligent healthcare system self-diagnosis that can achieve self-diagnosis by measured bio-signal(blood pressure, blood sugar, body fat monitor) after the recognize a user to access using RFID. The implemented healthcare self-diagnosis intelligent system is consist of kiosk structure that is RFID reader, bio-signal measuring instrument(hemadynamometer, glucometer, body fat monitor), computer for a part of database server and printer for print the result of self-diagnosis. It can achieve self-diagnosis of a user after compare and analyze the measured data and information of a user from database. The implemented system can make simple self-diagnosis even if not take a physical examination at hospital and apply to company, school, etc.

  • 본 연구는 두만강 유역국가(북한, 중국, 러시아) 및 인접국가(한국, 몽골, 일본) 간의 협력과정과 현안을 1991년부터 현재까지 광역두만강개발계획(Greater Tumen Initiative: GTI)을 통해 검토함으로써 동아시아에서 지역개발계획을 통한 공동의 이익창출과 공유가능성을 짚어보고 정책적 시사점을 찾고자 한다. 분석이론으로 이익공유(Benefit Sharing)이론을 적용하여 국제하천에서 한 유역국가가 독단적인 계획과 사업을 통하여 얻는 이익보다 모든 유역국가의 참여를 바탕으로 추진하는 지역개발을 통한 이익이 더 크다는 점을 확인하고자 한다. 두만강 유역은 1991년 UNDP 주도 하에 두만강지역개발프로그램(Tumen River Area Development Program: TRADP)을 시작으로 지역개발협력이 진행되어 2005년 광역두만강개발계획으로 발전되었으나 2009년 북한의 GTI 탈퇴, 리더쉽 부재, 재원부족 등으로 현재 답보 상태에 빠져있는 실정이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 프로그램 진행 과정 속에서 회원국 간의 공통 관심사항을 도출하고 직간접적으로 동아시아 평화안보 구축에 도움을 주었으며 교통, 물류, 에너지, 관광 및 환경 관련 사업을 추진하여 동아시아 공동 지역개발의 단초를 마련하는 성과를 거두었다. 아직 풀어가야 할 숙제가 많지만 GTI는 2014년 이후 본격으로 추진하고 있는 국제기구로의 전환을 통해 새로운 전기를 마련하고자 노력하고 있다. 또한 GTI는 북한 핵무기 개발과 미사일 발사 등으로 경직되어있는 동북아 상황을 완화하고 현 정부의 신북방정책의 발전을 위한 교두보 역할을 할 수 있을 것이며 역내 국가 간 협력을 지속적으로 추진할 수 있는 밑바탕이 될 수 있을 것이다.

A Case Study on Service Philosophy : Assetization on Wisdom of the Founding President of the Republic of Korea (서비스철학 사례 연구: 대한민국 건국대통령 지혜의 자산화)

  • This study was conducted based on the service philosophy as a study to capitalize on the wisdom of Korea and Koreans. This is a study that capitalizes on the wisdom of the founding president who led civilization changes in Korea. Wisdom as a visionary leader who played a leading role in Korea's development from a continental civilization to a maritime civilization was derived. We analyzed the wisdom of the founding president, who established the Republic of Korea with a new identity as a liberal democracy and protected it, and laid the foundation for Korea to leap into an advanced country through legal system reform and human resource development. First, we analyzed the essence of politics and presented the essential tragic nature that visionary leaders must bear as politicians. We also analyzes his courage and belief to accept a tragic fate, the insights on the spirit of independence, anti-communism, liberal democracy and the future. We analyze the wisdom as a visionary leader that is consistently revealed through countless choices and decisions to give up. It suggests that such wisdom is essential for the founding and development of a nation, and the wisdom need to be assetized. It needs a solid philosophical foundation to become a useful wisdom asset in the long run. In this study, Syngman Rhee's wisdom was assetized on the basis of the service philosophy. This is because it is wisdom based on the fiercely symmetrical balance principle. Human resource development was a choice that entailed great sacrifice, the market economy was a choice that entailed great sacrifice, and the protection of liberal democracy was also a choice that entailed great sacrifice, so it can be said that it is wisdom that fits the essence of the service philosophy. It is wisdom found only in outstanding visionary leaders. We present the wisdom of building a free democratic country, the wisdom of building a free market economy, and the wisdom of building a talent-oriented nation as assets in terms of national management philosophy, national management owner, time frame, and strategic asset. It also suggests that visionary leaders are continuously required for the long-term sustainable development of mankind and Korean society.

  • This can be promoted collaboration environment for the system and the system is very important for competitiveness, it is equipped. If so, could work in collaboration with members of the organization to promote collaboration what factors? Organizational collaboration and cooperation of many people working, or worth pursuing common goals by sharing information and processes to improve labor productivity, defined as collaboration. Factors that promote collaboration are shared visions, the organization's principles and rules that reflect the visions, on-line system developments, and communication methods. First, it embodies the vision shared by the more sympathetic members are active and voluntary participation in the activities of the organization can be achieved. Second, the members are aware of all the rules and principles of a united whole is accepted and leads to good performance. In addition, the ability to share sensitive business activities for self-development and also lead to work to make this a regular activity to create a team that can collaborate to help the environment and the atmosphere. Third, a systematic construction of the online collaboration system is made efficient and rapid task. According to Student team and A corporation we knew that Cloud services and social media, low-cost, high-efficiency services could achieve. The introduction of the latest information technology changes, the members of the organization's systems and active participation can take advantage of continuing education must be made. Fourth, the company to inform people both inside and outside of the organization to communicate actively to change the image of the company activities, the creation of corporate performance is very important to figure. Reflects the latest trend to actively use social media to communicate the effort is needed. For development of systematic collaboration promoting model steps to meet the organizational role. First, the Chief Executive Officer to make a firm and clear vision of the organization members to propagate the faith, empathy gives a sense of belonging should be able to have. Second, middle managers, CEO's vision is to systematically propagate the organizers rules and principles to establish a system would create. Third, general operatives internalize the vision of the company stating that the role of outside companies must adhere. The purpose of this study was well done in collaboration organizations promoting factors for strategic alignment model based on the golden circle and collaboration to understand and reflect the latest trends in information technology tools to take advantage of smart work and business know how student teams through case analysis will derive the success factors. This is the foundation for future empirical studies are expected to be present.

Fuzzy Analysis of Consciousness Structure of Administrator for Determinative of Care Service Quality (요양서비스 질 결정요인에 대한 관리자의 의식구조 퍼지분석)

  • The aim of this study is to structuralize a model of the factors determining the quality of nursing care perceived by the director or manager of a long-term care facilities (hospitalization of patients) using FSM(Fuzzy Structural Modeling), employed in structuralizing social systems. The results were as follows: first, quality in the top tier was shown to be connected with job commitment, commitment to the organization, work experience, care skills, knowledge about the elderly, training and education, which are factors in the middle tier; and second, the structure of the middle tier (job commitment, commitment to the organization, work experience, care skills, knowledge about the elderly, training and education) either showed a connection with the lower tier, which includes employment type, job satisfaction, leadership, relationship with users and workplace relationships, or showed a connection among the factors within. These results confirmed the following: first, care skills and knowledge about the elderly, which demonstrate the job expertise of caregivers, showed a connection with service quality based on work experience; second, job commitment in the middle tier was observed to affect various factors in the same tier such as care skills, knowledge about the elderly, training and education amongst others, and it was determined that it is an important determining factor in service quality. Lastly, a meaningful result was shown in relation to leadership. The leadership skills of the director of the facilities had a connection with the care caregivers' commitment to the organization, which had a connection with service quality. This structure showed the kind of role the director must play in order to improve service quality.
