Anti-inflammatory and Anti-oxidative Activities for Extract of Fermented Ligustrum japonicum Fruits (광나무 열매 발효 추출물의 항염 및 항산화 활성)

  • In this study, the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities were compared for the extracts of non-fermented Ligustrum japonicum fruits (LJF) and fermented counterparts. U se of Latilactobacillus curvatus (L. curvatus) and Weissella minor (W. minor), isolated from the Jeju Chromis notata, as fermented strains led to the extracts of LJF-LC and LJF-WM in this experiment. The yield of each fermented extract (LJF-LC and LJF-WM) was 40.5 ~ 46.0%, higher than 29.5% of non-fermented extract (LJF). As a result of an activity experiment using RAW 264.7 macrophages stimulated by lipopolysaccaride (LPS), it was confirmed that LJF-WM, a fermented extract, has an excellent effect of inhibiting NO production in a concentration-dependent manner without cytotoxicity. Upon the screening of DPPH and ABTS+ radical scavenging activities, the fermented LJF-LC and LJF-WM showed comparable to the non-fermented LJF. In the study of cell protection effect using HaCaT keratinocytes damaged by hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), the fermented LJF-WM indicated protective effect against oxidative stress. In addition, quantitative analysis of a major constituent salidroside by HPLC indicated about 15.6 mg/g for the LJF-LC and 13.9 mg/g for the LJF-WM, which were higher than that of non-fermented LJF (12.0 mg/g). Based on these results, it was suggested that the fermented extract from L. japonicum fruits could be used as a natural cosmetics material with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects.

Effect of Diffusion on the Interfacial Adhesion of Poly(hydroxy ether) Coated Caron Fibers (계면확산에 의한 Poly(hydroxy ether) 코팅된 탄소섬유의 계면접착력 변화 연구)

  • Carbon fibers were coated with carboxy modified poly(hydroxy ether)(C-PHE, water dispersed), water soluble polymers poly(hydroxy ether ethanol amine)(PHEA) or water insoluble poly(hydroxy ether)(PHE). Interfacial shear strength of polymer coated carbon fibers was measured by micro-droplet tests with vinyl ester resin, and approximately 30 samples were tested. The interfacial adhesion of poly-mers to carbon fibers was also evaluated, and diffusion behavior of polymer films in vinyl ester resin was investigated. The carbon fibers after testing and diffusion samples were analysed by SEM in order to understand adhesion mechanism. Interfacial shear strength of carbon fibers was enhanced by the coating of PHE and C-PHE which have good or marginal solubility in vinyl ester resin, respectively, but not by the coating of PHEA possibly due to the poor solubility in vinyl ester resin.

  • 이 연구에서는 사이징 공정을 포함해서 수세, 전처리 그리고 최종 열처리 둥의 염색.가공 공정에서의 습열 및 건열 처리 온도가 폴리에스테르 직물의 열응력과 염색성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 사용된 폴리에스테르 필라멘트사는 경사가 50d/24f 스파크사이며 위사는 75d/72f semi-dull사이다. 평직물은 션틀직기, 주자직물은 water jet 직기로 제직하였으며, sizing dryer 온도는 $90^\circ{C}$, $125^\circ{C}$, $150^\circ{C}$, 수세공정의 습열처리 온도는 $90^\circ{C}$, $110^\circ{C}$, $120^\circ{C}$, 전처리 공정의 건열처리 온도는 $180^\circ{C}$, $200^\circ{C}$, $220^\circ{C}$, 마지막 세팅 공정의 건열처리 온도는 $170^\circ{C}$, $180^\circ{C}$, $200^\circ{C}$로 변화시켰다. 이들 습열과 건열처리 온도 변화에 따른 직물내의 필라멘트사의 열 수축률과 직물의 겉보기 염색성의 변화를 조사 분석하였다.

  • A series of amorphous polyesters were synthesized from amorphous polyether and sebacoyl chloride. The structure and competition of the obtained aliphatic polyester were confirmed by $^1$H-NMR and FT-IR. The number average molecular weights (M$_{n}$) of the obtained polymer were ranging from 8000 ~ 15000. These polyesters showed no crystallinity and their glass transition temperatures (T$_{g}$) were around -77$^{\circ}C$. For comparison, aliphatic polyesters were also synthesized from poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) with M$_{n}$ of 200, 400, and 1000. As the M$_{n}$ of PEG increased, the melting point of the obtained polyester increased, and the crystallinity of the obtained polyester increased showing 8.8%, 16.2%, and 46.7%, respectively.ively.y.

  • Unsaturated diol (UD) was prepared from the esterification of maleic anhydride with diethylene glycol (DEG). Unsaturated polyesters modified with rosin (UPMR) or with rosin maleic anhydride adduct (RMA) from 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA) and rosin (UPMRH) were prepared by the reaction of UD with RMA or RMA-HEMA. After crosslinking of UPMR and UPMRH with styrene and methylmethacrylate (MMA), respectively, solvent resistance, tensile strength, and adhesion property of the resins were measured. UPMR crosslinked with styrene or MMA shows an excellent resistance to water and acid. Solvents resistance and tensile strength of UPMR using styrene as crosslinking agent were increased compared with those of UPMR using MMA as crosslinking agent. UPMRH showed better solvents resistance and tensile strength than UPMR. Adhesion strengths of UPMR crosslinked with styrene and MMA were 1.61 and 3.02 MPa, and those of UPMRH were 2.32 and 3.89 MPa, respectively.

항암성 후라보노이드의 합성

  • 푸라본합성의 기초물질인 2-benzoyloxyacetophenone류를 dicyclohexyl-carbodi-imide/4-dimethylaminopydridine을 사용하여 72-90%의 수율로 합성하였다. 이들 에스터를 상전이촉 매존재하에 반응시켜 dibenzoylmethane을 합성하였다. 이때 얻은 수율은 72-80%로 종전의 방법에 비하여 월등이 개선되었으며 반응이 30분이내에 완결되었다. Dibenzoylmethane을 종전의 방법대로 폐환시켜 총 44종의 푸라본을 합성하였다.

  • SMC(Sheet molding compound)욕조 생산시 발생하는 폐 FRP를 보강재로서 재활용하기 위하여 불포화 폴리에스테르 매트릭스 수지에 보강하고 보강재와 매트릭스 수지의 계면 결합력을 증진시키기 위하여 보강재를 실란계 커플링제[3-methylacryloxyviny1 silane (MAOS)]로 전 처리하여 복합재를 제조하고 기계적 물성 및 계면현사에 대하여 관찰하였다. 보강률이 20wt%인 복합재의 굴곡강도 및 굴곡탄성률이 각 각 110MPa, 8.0GPa로 가장 우수하였으며 커플링제(MAOS)의 노동가 0.50wt%인 복합재의 굴곡강도 및 굴곡탄성률은 약 10%정도 향상되어 각 각 120MPa, 9.2GPa을 나타내었다. 또한 주사전자현미경 관찰 결과 보강재를 커플링제(MAOS)로 처리한 복합재의 보강재와 매트릭스 수지는 물리, 화학적을 잘 결합하여 보강재와 매트릭스 수지의 계면에서 pull out현상이 확인되지 않았으며 크랙도 발생하지 않았다.

  • This study investigates the effects of aspect ratio (transport length-to-width) on diffusive-convection for physical vapor transport processes of $Hg_2Cl_2-NO$ system. For a system with the temperature difference of 20 K between an interface at the source material region and growing crystal interface, the linear temperature profiles at walls, the total molar fluxes at Ar = 2 are much greater than Ar = 5 as well as the corresponding nonuniformities in interfacial distributions due to the effect of convection. The maximum total molar flux at the gravitational acceleration of 1 $g_0$ is greater twice than at the level of 0.1 $g_0$, where g0 denotes the gravitational acceleration on earth. With increasing aspect ratio from 2 to 5, a diffusive-convection mode is transited into the diffusion mode, and then the strength of diffusion is predominant over the strength of diffusive-convection.

  • This article studies the spiritual formation of modern Christian women in the cases of Hwang Ester and Eo Yoon-Hee. I take McGrath's definition of Christian spirituality as my starting point, namely, "Christian spirituality concerns the queset for a fulfilled and authentic Christian existence, involving the bringing together of the fundamental ideas of Christianity and the whole experience of living on the basis of and within the scope of the Christian faith." I center the terms of Christian existence and whole experience of living from McGrath's text, and understand Christian existence to relate to being a disciple and whole experience of living to relate to being a citizen. This study looks at the life history of Hwang Ester and Eo Yun-Hee, and looked at the spirituality of these women with the focus on discipleship and citizenship. Thus, I find that, for modern Christian women, becoming a disciple is inseparable from becoming a citizen. Also, I can see that, in modern women's spirituality, being a true disciple leads to becoming a right citizen.

A Study on the Analysis of Positional Accuracy between the GPR Survey Data and Underground Space Integration Map (현장 GPR 탐사자료와 지하공간통합지도 상호위치 정확도 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, issues regarding underground safety such as sink hole, ground subsidence and damage to old underground facilities have been increasing in urban areas, raising the need for more accurate management of underground facilities. Thus, this study derived a technique for comparing spatial data of underground facilities acquired from GPR exploration results acquired at the site with spatial data of integrated underground spatial maps. Using this underground space integrated map-linked service prototype program developed through this study, comparing the location information of the GPR exploration results and the underground space integrated map for the verification of site usability in some sections around Gangnam Station, the results demonstrated that the location of the map is 0.879m maximum, minimum of 0.101m and the average fudge factor was 0.625m. If accuracy of the GPR exploration results is guaranteed, it is judged that it can be used to improve the location accuracy of the underground space integration map.
