  • Nuri process is a common process of childcare and education for infants to 5 years old in 2012 has been carried out. In order to operate a paint program, teachers not only easy to take advantage in the field, education robot, taking into account developmental compatibility in accordance with stable, physical stability, age psychological infant, the diversity, education robot that can be worn thinking, creativity, scientific thinking is required. In this paper, I will study the applications and Internet services to infants through your favorite smartphones. To the study of development in the smartphone educational insect robot application with the educational environment that infants are environmentally friendly. Utilizing the game smartphone, Nari proceed to step 15, place the questions and answers for enhancing the education effect on the way, to enhance the creative effect of the robot and education. In this paper, I will continue to contribute to the development of content for the education of taste creative.

Characterizing Strategy of Emotional sympathetic Robots in Animation and Movie - Focused on Appearance and Behavior tendency Analysis - (애니메이션 및 영화에 등장하는 정서교감형 로봇의 캐릭터라이징 전략 - 외형과 행동 경향성 분석을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze conditions that robots depicted in cinematographic works like animations or movies sympathize with and form an attachment with the nuclear person and organize characterizing strategies for emotional sympathetic robots. Along with the development of technology, the areas of artificial intelligence and robots are no longer considered to belong to science fiction but as realistic issues. Therefore, this author assumes that the expressive characteristics of emotional sympathetic robots created by cinematographic works should be used as meaningful factors in expressively embodying human-friendly service robots to be distributed widely afterwards, that is, in establishing the features of characters. To lay the grounds for it, this research has begun. As the subjects of analysis, this researcher has chosen robot characters whose emotional intimacy with the main person is clearly observed among those found in movies and animations produced after the 1920 when robot's contemporary concept was declared. Also, to understand robots' appearance and behavioral tendency, this study (1) has classified robots' external impressions into five types (human-like, cartoon, tool-like, artificial bring, pet or creature) and (2) has classified behavioral tendencies considered to be the outer embodiment of personality by using DiSC, the tool to diagnose behavioral patterns. Meanwhile, it has been observed that robots equipped with high emotional intimacy are all strongly independent about their duties and indicate great emotional acceptance. Therefore, 'influence' and 'Steadiness' types show great emotional acceptance, the influencing type tends to be highly independent, and the 'Conscientiousness' type tends to indicate less emotional acceptance and independency in general. Yet, according to the analysis on external impressions, appearance factors hardly have any significant relationship with emotional sympathy. It implies that regarding the conditions of robots equipped with great emotional sympathy, emotional sympathy grounded on communication exerts more crucial effects than first impression similarly to the process of forming interpersonal relationship in reality. Lastly, to study the characters of robots, it is absolutely needed to have consilient competence embracing different areas widely. This author also has felt that only with design factors or personality factors, it is hard to estimate robot characters and also analyze a vast amount of information demanded in sympathy with humans entirely. However, this researcher will end this thesis as the foundation for it expecting that the general artistic value of animations can be used preciously afterwards in developing robots that have to be studied interdisciplinarily.

Proposal for Research Model of High-Function Patrol Robot using Integrated Sensor System (통합 센서 시스템을 이용한 고기능 순찰 로봇의 연구모델 제안)

  • In this dissertation, a we designed and implemented a patrol robot that integrates a thermal imaging camera, speed dome camera, PTZ camera, radar, lidar sensor, and smartphone. This robot has the ability to monitor and respond efficiently even in complex environments, and is especially designed to demonstrate high performance even at night or in low visibility conditions. An orbital movement system was selected for the robot's mobility, and a smartphone-based control system was developed for real-time data processing and decision-making. The combination of various sensors allows the robot to comprehensively perceive the environment and quickly detect hazards. Thermal imaging cameras are used for night surveillance, speed domes and PTZ cameras are used for wide-area monitoring, and radar and LIDAR are used for obstacle detection and avoidance. The smartphone-based control system provides a user-friendly interface. The proposed robot system can be used in various fields such as security, surveillance, and disaster response. Future research should include improving the robot's autonomous patrol algorithm, developing a multi-robot collaboration system, and long-term testing in a real environment. This study is expected to contribute to the development of the field of intelligent surveillance robots.

  • An URC (Ubiquitous Robot Companion) is aimed for providing the best service according to situational information that it recognizes. In order to offer human-friendly and intelligent services, a robot middleware requires the technique to automate and control URC service processes, which are based on context-awareness. In this paper, we propose a context-aware workflow system to provide web services based URC services according to situational information. The proposed system offers a platform-independent command object model to control heterogeneous URCs, and supports web services based context-aware URC services. Therefore, the proposed system can increase the reliability of URC services in ubiquitous network environment, on which the diverse URC robots and platforms exist. And it can enhance the flexibility and adaptability of the functional and structural changes of URC systems.

  • 저항 점 용접은 1930년대에 Thomson에 의해 방법이 제안된 이후로 자동차, 전자, 항공기, 철도산업등에서 박판 금속(sheet metal)의 접합에 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 공정이다. 특히 자동차 차체와 같이 대부분 박판으로 구성되는 구조물에서는 저항 점 용접의 사용 범위가 매우 넓기 때문에 자동차 산업에서는 가장 기본적인 근본 기술 중의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 보통 자동차 한대를 생산하는데 소요되는 저항 점 용접 타점은 3000~4000개 정도로 자동차 차체 용접 공정의 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 또한 로봇과 연동된 자동화 공정으로 적용되고 있다. 최근의 자동차 차체를 구성하는 금속 재료가 자동차의 경량화, 친화경 소재의 사용자의 요구로 인해 새로운 강판이 사용된다. 자동차의 연비 향상을 위해서 다른 방법보다 자동차의 무게를 감소시키는 것이 가장 효율적이고, 쉽기 때문에 고장력 강판의 사용이 급속하게 증가하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 차제의 부식성, 내마모성 향상을 위해 도금 처리된 강판의 사용도 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 최근에 도장 공정 감소를 위해 도금 처리위에 도료 착색을 용이하게 하는 도료의 일부를 금속 표면에 처리된 강판의 개발도 진행되는 등 금속 소재의 변화가 다양하게 진행되고 있다. 이러한 새로운 강종은 기존의 AC 용접이나 DC 용접으로는 용접성 확보에 어려움을 가지고 있어, 새로운 저항 점 용접 공정의 연구 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 저항 점 용접 공정의 개선을 위해서 인버터 저항 점 용접기에서 용접 공정 중 전류를 제어하기 위한 효율적인 제어기 개발 방법과 개발된 제어기를 바탕으로 용접 중에 용접부의 품질을 예측하여, 용접 전류 및 가압력을 실시간 제어하여 안정적인 용접부의 품질을 갖질 수 있는 지능형 저항 점 용접기의 적응 제어기를 개발하는데 있다.

Design of a Vision Chip for Edge Detection with an Elimination Function of Output Offset due to MOSFET Mismatch (MOSFET의 부정합에 의한 출력옵셋 제거기능을 가진 윤곽검출용 시각칩의 설계)

  • Human retina is able to detect the edge of an object effectively. We designed a CMOS vision chip by modeling cells of the retina as hardwares involved in edge detection. There are several fluctuation factors which affect characteristics of MOSFETs during CMOS fabrication process and this effect appears as output offset of the vision chip which is composed of pixel arrays and readout circuits. The vision chip detecting edge information from input image is used for input stage of other systems. Therefore, the output offset of a vision chip determine the efficiency of the entire performance of a system. In order to eliminate the offset at the output stage, we designed a vision chip by using CDS(Correlated Double Sampling) technique. Using standard CMOS process, it is possible to integrate with other circuits. Having reliable output characteristics, this chip can be used at the input stage for many applications, like targe tracking system, fingerprint recognition system, human-friendly robot system and etc.
