As the field of robots is evolving to intelligent robots that can replace even humans' mental or emotional labor, 'robot ethics' needed in relationship between humans and robots is becoming a crucial issue these days. The purpose of this study is to consider the ethics of robots and humans that is essential in this post-human age. It will deal with the followings as the main contents. First, with the cases of developing ethics software intended to make robots practice ethics, the authors begin this research being conscious about the matter of whether robots can really judge what is right or wrong only with the ethics codes entered forcibly. Second, regarding robot ethics, we should consider unethicality that might arise from learning data internalizing human biasness and also reflect ethical differences between countries or between cultures, that is, ethical relativism. Third, robot ethics should not be just about ethics codes intended for robots but reflect the new concept of 'human ethics' that allows humans and robots to coevolve.

As the service robot market grows among the food technology industry, the quality of robot service that affects consumer behavioral intentions in the restaurant industry has become important. Serving robots, which are common in restaurants, reduce employee work through order and delivery, but because they do not respond to service failures, they increase customer dissatisfaction as well as increase employee work. In order to improve the quality of service beyond the simple function of receiving and serving orders, functions of recovery effort, fairness, empathy, responsiveness, and certainty of the process after service failure, such as serving employees, are also required. Accordingly, we assumed the type of failure of restaurant serving service as two internal and external factors, and developed a serving robot with a vocational ethics module to respond with a professional ethical attitude when the restaurant serving service fails. At this time, the expression and action of the serving robot were developed by adding a failure mode reflecting failure recovery efforts and empathy to the normal service mode. And by recruiting college students, we tested whether the service robot's response to two types of service failures had a significant effect on evaluating the robot. Participants responded that they were more uncomfortable with service failures caused by other customers' mistakes than robot mistakes, and that the serving robot's professional ethical empathy and response were appropriate. In addition, unlike the robot's favorability, the evaluation of the safety of the robot had a significant difference depending on whether or not a professional ethical empathy module was installed. A professional ethical empathy response module for natural service failure recovery using generative artificial intelligence should be developed and mounted, and the domestic serving robot industry and market are expected to grow more rapidly if the Korean serving robot certification system is introduced.

In this paper, we analyzed the units related to robot education in the Practical Arts textbooks according to the 2015 revised curriculum. As a result, all textbooks had a common system of introduction, development, and organization, and all of them showed a similar flow. Learning objectives were presented in all textbooks, but no affective goals were presented except cognitive and functional goals. The contents of robot learning suggest the meaning and type of robots, the structure and sensors of robots, and the activities of making robots, but the contents of robot ethics, the production and activities of various robot works, and the use of robots in the problem solving process are not presented. The assembly robot and the infrared sensor are used in common, and it consists of presenting robot production and control training materials in experience activities and arranging units through evaluation, and the A, C, and F textbooks also provide the unit auxiliary data. In the future, it will be necessary to include the contents of robot ethics education centered on the design/manufacturer and user-oriented robot ethics such as the recognition of the limits of robots, the principles of using robots correctly, safety education, personal information and privacy protection.

The purpose of this study is to progress the development plan of safety management on the intelligent robot through safety analysis on the intelligent robot, major present condition of safety management on the intelligent robot, enforcement method of safety management on the intelligent robot. The following is the result of the study. First, we have to establish the provision or the special legislation to regulate the safety management of the intelligent robot substantially in the intelligent robot development and supply promotion law, the enforcement ordinance, the enforcement regulation. And, we should propel to establish the provision on the safety management of the intelligent robot in the laws related on ethics and safety. Second, we should establish the Robot Ethical Charter through the national and international agreement to give a guarantee against the safety management of the intelligent robot. Furthermore, we have to induces people's interest on the safety management of the intelligent robot through offering the public information of the Robot Ethical Charter for coexistence of human and robot and have to understand about rights of the intelligent robot. Third, the security industry and learned circles have to recognize the important effect that the intelligent robot gets in the security industry and try to grope the safety management and the application plan on the intelligent robot. Also, the security industry and learned circles should concern not only using and managing of the intelligent robot including the military robot, the security robot but also protecting human from the intelligent robot.

The purpose of this study is to explore changes in future sports by introducing baseball robot umpire. The study was conducted using qualitative research methods, and participants selected five baseball fans who were interested in baseball. The results of the study are as follows. First, baseball fans expressed displeasure with the frequent misjudgment in Korean Professional Baseball game, and doubted the fairness of the umpire's judgment. And repeated misjudgment of professional baseball has contributed to the decline in viewing and viewing of baseball. Second, baseball fans were positive about the introduction of robot umpire as a way to reduce bad calls in baseball games, and considered the accuracy, consistency, and recordability of robot umpire to complement their limitations. Third, the application of baseball robot umpire will serve as a basis for strengthening the fairness and efficiency of baseball games, which will positively change the image of sports. As a result, the introduction of robot umpire in baseball games could exert desirable influence on people and contribute to restoring the ethics of sports and strengthening fairness.

Due to the recent accident caused by the automated vehicle, discussions on the ethical aspects of AI have been actively underway. This paper confirms that AI is inevitably connected to ethical components through the concepts and techniques related to robots-AI, and argues that ethical aspects are built-in, not post facto. Furthermore, this devises a solution to the trolley dilemma that can serve as a clue to ethical problems associated with automated vehicles. Preferentially, that process contains writing Bayesian networks. Next, only important and influential data are left after the pre-processing stage, and crowd-sourcing & extrapolation is used to calculate the exact figures of the networks. Through this process, this argues that humans' subjects are certainly included in implementing algorithms and models and discusses the necessity and direction of engineering liberal arts, especially education of ethics that distinguished from major education to prevent distortions and biases abouts AI systems.

The purpose of this study is to ethical review on the development and service with care assistance robot. An integrative review concept analysis method was used. We analyzed the classification and role of service robots, the concept of the robot ethic and the care ethic. And there were derived the development and service about care assistance robot in ethical viewpoint. For improving current care problem, government had support to developing four types care assistance robots. But there were provided carefully care service due to the limitations of robot technology and lack of overall social awareness with care robot. In addition, in order to be successfully application in the field, care assistance robots were developed to provide high-quality care service that can consider to personal culture and living environment with the development of artificial intelligence and robot technology, as well as ethical care service.

A form of life is changed rapidly through development of ICT. And we need information ethics as a new norm of information-oriented society. The effect of information ethics can be maximized by education. Therefore, a new curriculum is demanded by new technology and circumstance. Korea Association of Information education has studied a new curriculum and suggested a new plan that contents of information education classified by 'Software', 'Computer System' and 'Convergence Activities' sections. And the 'Convergence Activities' section is composed of 'Information Ethics', 'Productivity Tools' and 'Robot'. In this paper, we studied on learning elements of the 'Information Ethics' of first grade to ninth grade. We analysed the domestic and foreign curriculum, research results and new issues about information ethics and selected the learning elements about information ethics. We nextly suggested the achievement goals, teaching-learning methods and evaluation methods of information ethics. We expect that the learning elements we suggested about information ethics will contribute to deal with wisely information dysfunction and to training correct talented individuals.
